“Jon was a fantastic sitter for the most difficult, terrible kind of dog possible---a cat. We were away for a week, so Jon stopped by every day to feed, care for, and play with our cat. She needs a lot of attention and Jon was willing to stay for an hour or two during each visit to make sure she felt taken care of. He followed all of our instructions to a T, even the difficult ones relating to food portion and variety. Like a dog, our cat wants a human to play with her and help her exercise, and Jon didn't hesitate to spend time playing with her each day. Jon is absolutely an animal-person. He follows instructions well and cleans up after himself and your pet. I would definitely hire him again!”

About: I am happy for Rover to be a place to find support in looking for pet/home care when you need. I grew up with a family full of pets. Rottweilers, bunnies and cats! On June 27th, after 10 years, I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy Kitty (tuxedo cat) due to cancer. I miss him very much and he’s the one in all the photos. My boyfriend and I are currently working to buy a home and we want to wait for a yard to have more fur babies of our own but I would be happy to watch after yours if you ever need! I work from home M-F as a supply chain manager for Amazon. I make my own hours so I am very flexible on days/times you may need. I live in an 2 bedroom apartment, unfortunately there is no fenced in outdoor space to myself but the complex has a dog “park” (small) and it’s on a cul-de-sac with grass space for walks! I never crate or caged my animals, free to roam around and hangout where is comfy in my home for daycare. As for your home, your rules go, just let me know!

“Ellie was great- lots of communication, house was clean when we got home. She was up for giving my cat insulin although she hadn’t done that before and dealt with my 77 pound golden puppy who is very “enthusiastic.” She was willing to keep trying to get him to walk on a leash after he got so excited he jumped up on her and tried to bite the leash out of her hand. “My best friend Shannon is highly responsible with pets. Having a cat of her own, she takes excellent care of him and ensures he is always well-fed, loved, and safe. She has also helped a friend by watching her dogs which she did very well. She showed them great love and care. Her friend and her pets were satisfied.”
