“We had to leave our goldendoodle for three days while out of state. She had not been left alone since being boarded at our vet 4 years ago, so we had concerns. Heather was wonderful! She came to our house twice before we left to learn our dog's habits and become familiar with her. Heather stayed at our home during our time away. She followed our dog's schedule to perfection (feeding time, potty time, nap time, bed time, play time, etc.). The day after our return, our dog was looking around for Heather. Heather also updated us regularly, including photos. I would recommend her highly, and hope to use her again.”
About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and have loved every minute of their companionship. When I went to college I adopted two kittens and since then have gotten a third. I have dog sat for a week at a time; providing detailed care and a friendly demeanor that leaves pets feeling at ease. I am experienced with cats and dogs of all ages. I own 3 cats ranging in age from 1 to 14. I am familiar with litter box training as well as medication administration within food. I am a passionate pet caregiver and have a huge heart that welcomes pets of all kinds. I work in the school systems therefore I am off for the summer! Starting July 27th I am available full time! I am only away August 6-9. I treat all pets with kindness, respect and patience. Animals are my true joy in life and I absolutely love spending time with them. “Gabriela was our very first experience with overnight (multi-day) dog sitters outside of our immediate family and we could not have been happier! She came to visit us at our home prior to booking and sweet, calm demeanor put us right at ease. She was communicative the entire time- sending regular photos of walks, playtime and sleepytimes. She alerted us of any minor concerns and even kept up with a special diet and doggie eye drops! She was respectful of our home and left it tidy and even took her sheets off the bed and emptied the garbage. Our dogs were excited and clearly well cared for upon our return. About: I’ve grown up in a home with dogs and have always been comfortable around them. I had a Labrador before, so I’m very familiar with daily care, routines, and spending time with dogs. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Animal Science in 2025 and also have some experience interning at a vet clinic, which helped me better understand animal health and behavior. Since summer 2024, I’ve been helping friends with dog sitting, walking, and boarding. I’ve done three long-term stays (over a month each), so I’m comfortable caring for dogs for extended periods and helping them settle in. I’m responsible, patient, and happy to send updates and photos while you’re away! I’m currently a student, but I have good availability in the mornings before 8am and in the evenings after 5pm, so I’m able to do walks and spend quality time with your dog during those hours. I’m also flexible on weekends and can adjust based on your pet’s routine. I’m happy to follow their usual schedule to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I live in an apartment right now, but I make sure pets have a clean, safe, and comfortable space. I take dogs out for regular walks and make sure they get enough exercise, attention, and care throughout the day. I pay close attention to their behavior and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, routines, and any special needs. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease.

I have always had lots of animals (currently two cats) and always love to meet new furry friends of all shapes and sizes :)I would love to work with you and your animals providing the best care possible! About: Ive been living in New Haven for 5 years and have had lots of experience with dog walking and dog sitting in the area. Our neighbors and several friends have dogs so I often offer to walk them, or will pet sit at their homes. I live in Wooster Square but also walk a lot of friend’s dogs in east rock! I have a car so I can go further out if needed. I’m very comfortable with dog walking and and am able to handle all sizes of dogs really well! They never fail to brighten my day :) I am currently a student and have flexibility around schedules. Monday - free before 8am or after 1pm Tuesday - free before 10am or after 4pm Wednesday - free before 8am or after 4:30pm Thursday - free before 11:30 or after 4pm Friday - free before 8am and after 11am Weekend availability on request I live in a quiet part of Wooster square, right by the park. There are lots of pets around the neighborhood and several dog parks nearby which I have taken dogs to (they love it)! My roommates are not comfortable with other dogs in our home, but I am comfortable with sitting at the client’s home. I have a car so distance is not a problem for me!

Jassmyne took care of our cat (Tati) for a fairly long stretch (2 weeks), and she was fantastic. She was very communicative throughout, sending lots of pictures and updates, and she handled it calmly when Tati came down with a small cold. She also took great care of our house while we were away. Conor spent 24 hours at our home with our elderly dog overnight. We arrived home to a happy, calm pooch and our home was just as we left it. Brithny was an absolute gem taking care of my dog, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. From our very first meet and greet, she put me completely at ease, she even brought her own dog sana along to help the dogs get comfortable together, which showed just how thoughtful and prepared she is. You can tell right away that she has real experience with dogs and genuinely understands them. Throughout her time with my dog, Brithny went above and beyond. She took him on fun little adventures and made sure he was active, engaged, and well cared for the whole time. She was gentle with him, responsible about his routine, and clearly poured a lot of care into how she looked after him. On top of that, she sent frequent updates and photos, which meant so much to me while I was away, since I always knew exactly how he was doing. I felt so relieved knowing my dog was in such capable, caring hands. Brithny is exactly the kind of sitter every dog owner hopes to find, and I’ll absolutely be booking with her again. I recommend her without reservation.
Danielle was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my very energetic Golden Retriever and my cat for an entire week, and I came home knowing they had been loved and well cared for. She went above and beyond in every way—from keeping me updated to making sure everything was taken care of around the house. The sweetest surprise was coming home to clean sheets on my bed that she had replaced before she left. It’s those thoughtful little touches that show how much she truly cares. I can’t recommend Danielle enough, and I’ll definitely be booking her again!
Reine did an AMAZING job sitting for our dog and cat! Our pup is prone to separation anxiety and can often be nervous around new people, but she is clearly very experienced with this and helped make him at ease right away. She even gave us behavioral suggestions for how to help him with these things in the future. She gave us frequent updates and really went beyond what I expected to make sure the animals were well taken care of. I highly recommend her!
When I had a night shift, Christopher came and took care of my dog, Honey, and did a spectacular job! He followed every direction/request without an issue, went above and beyond by offering to give Honey medication before he left, took photos promptly, and cuddled her when there was a bad thunderstorm, will book again!
Karime was amazing! She accommodated a very last minute request and took great care of my girls while they were dealing with some serious allergies. She communicated consistently and promptly and also took note of when things seemed concerning. Great and caring sitter!
I was so pleased with Joo’s ability to connect with my 2 dogs. Both are rescues and have specific needs: Lizzie is fearful and very anxious; Quigley was a stray—perhaps for years—and is house trained only when his human is home. She handled both of their needs with compassion and kindness. They warmed up to Joo quickly. Joo sent my photos and videos of my kids while I was away. It was obvious that they were having a really good time. That put my mind at ease and a smile on my face.
Dustin stayed with my dog for a week at my house and he was great! My dog (pit mix) is extremely nervous and has separation anxiety but Dustin was very compassionate and took good care of my pet. This was the first time traveling that I didn’t worry that my dog was stressed out. I would highly recommend Dustin. He communicates well and was willing to walk the dog at any hour. Lots of pictures too!
