She came to our house twice before we left to learn our dog's habits and become familiar with her. Heather stayed at our home during our time away. She followed our dog's schedule to perfection (feeding time, potty time, nap time, bed time, play time, etc.). The day after our return, our dog was looking around for Heather. Heather also updated us regularly, including photos. I would recommend her highly, and hope to use her again.”

About: I’ve grown up in a home with dogs and have always been comfortable around them. I had a Labrador before, so I’m very familiar with daily care, routines, and spending time with dogs. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Animal Science in 2025 and also have some experience interning at a vet clinic, which helped me better understand animal health and behavior. Since summer 2024, I’ve been helping friends with dog sitting, walking, and boarding. I’ve done three long-term stays (over a month each), so I’m comfortable caring for dogs for extended periods and helping them settle in. I’m responsible, patient, and happy to send updates and photos while you’re away! I’m currently a student, but I have good availability in the mornings before 8am and in the evenings after 5pm, so I’m able to do walks and spend quality time with your dog during those hours. I’m also flexible on weekends and can adjust based on your pet’s routine. I’m happy to follow their usual schedule to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I live in an apartment right now, but I make sure pets have a clean, safe, and comfortable space. I take dogs out for regular walks and make sure they get enough exercise, attention, and care throughout the day. I pay close attention to their behavior and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, routines, and any special needs. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease.

About: Ive been living in New Haven for 5 years and have had lots of experience with dog walking and dog sitting in the area. Our neighbors and several friends have dogs so I often offer to walk them, or will pet sit at their homes. I live in Wooster Square but also walk a lot of friend’s dogs in east rock! I have a car so I can go further out if needed. I’m very comfortable with dog walking and and am able to handle all sizes of dogs really well! They never fail to brighten my day :) I am currently a student and have flexibility around schedules. Monday - free before 8am or after 1pm Tuesday - free before 10am or after 4pm Wednesday - free before 8am or after 4:30pm Thursday - free before 11:30 or after 4pm Friday - free before 8am and after 11am Weekend availability on request I live in a quiet part of Wooster square, right by the park. There are lots of pets around the neighborhood and several dog parks nearby which I have taken dogs to (they love it)! My roommates are not comfortable with other dogs in our home, but I am comfortable with sitting at the client’s home. I have a car so distance is not a problem for me!

From our very first meet and greet, she put me completely at ease, she even brought her own dog sana along to help the dogs get comfortable together, which showed just how thoughtful and prepared she is. You can tell right away that she has real experience with dogs and genuinely understands them. Throughout her time with my dog, Brithny went above and beyond. She took him on fun little adventures and made sure he was active, engaged, and well cared for the whole time. She was gentle with him, responsible about his routine, and clearly poured a lot of care into how she looked after him. On top of that, she sent frequent updates and photos, which meant so much to me while I was away, since I always knew exactly how he was doing. I felt so relieved knowing my dog was in such capable, caring hands. Brithny is exactly the kind of sitter every dog owner hopes to find, and I’ll absolutely be booking with her again. Maria is an absolute doll!! She took great care of my dog, Lulu, while I was away. She even managed to get Mittens to come out of hiding. I was welcomed by 2 grateful pets and a house that was in perfect order!!! I will definitely call on Maria for any future travels!
Danielle was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my very energetic Golden Retriever and my cat for an entire week, and I came home knowing they had been loved and well cared for. She went above and beyond in every way—from keeping me updated to making sure everything was taken care of around the house. The sweetest surprise was coming home to clean sheets on my bed that she had replaced before she left. It’s those thoughtful little touches that show how much she truly cares. Reine did an AMAZING job sitting for our dog and cat! Our pup is prone to separation anxiety and can often be nervous around new people, but she is clearly very experienced with this and helped make him at ease right away. She even gave us behavioral suggestions for how to help him with these things in the future. She gave us frequent updates and really went beyond what I expected to make sure the animals were well taken care of. I highly recommend her!
Bailey was great with our elderly golden retriever. When we got home he acted like we had never been away which is how I know he was treated well. She is responsive and kept good notes for each day’s events. Definitely will be using her again as long as our old boy is with us!

Dustin stayed with my dog for a week at my house and he was great! My dog (pit mix) is extremely nervous and has separation anxiety but Dustin was very compassionate and took good care of my pet. This was the first time traveling that I didn’t worry that my dog was stressed out. I would highly recommend Dustin. He communicates well and was willing to walk the dog at any hour. Lots of pictures too!
Veronica is amazing no other words can describe her. She house sat and took care of our little Luna. She was patient, caring and loving toward her and they became best friends really fast. She went on daily walks with Luna fed her exactly as instructed, played with her and really she was just exceptional. Before we returned and at the time that she was supposed to take off, there was an 1.5 hour interval, first of all she was happy to stay but we asked that she should not because it was very late at night and we wanted to make sure she gets home safe but when she was leaving our Luna she was so sad to see her leave that she was howling! At that point I had found a competition as I have been the only person Luna has howled for so that says a lot about how much Luna loved her. She respected our home and when we got back everything was as we left it. I would say she is exceptional and look no further if you need your dog happy and safe.
