About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 16. Friends and family trust me to walk, feed and take care of their dogs. I am comfortable taking dogs for long walks around the neighborhood or to the dog park, and I have stayed in home as a pet sitter. My family has a dog and I am involved in her care and play time on a daily basis. I have a very flexible schedule and have lots of time for your pup. I am available for late morning and afternoon walks and playtime. I have an energetic 60 pound dog. I am used to walking a strong dog and can easily handle a dog that may pull. I am happy to walk your dog in your neighborhood and/or play in your yard. I will work with whatever routine your dog is accustomed to.

She sent us texts and photos and asked about things that might be concerning, like one of our cats who has cherry eye (I hadn't mentioned it, as I don't really think about it and he hid in our initial visit) and she was concerned that he might have gotten his eye scratched. Very thorough and sent me a text of her perception of their personalities....spot on!! The dogs LOVED her too! I would use her for petsitting without hesitation! Extremely trustworthy young woman!”

About: I’ve had cats since I was 13 and have many years of hands-on experience caring for cats with different personalities and needs. I was able to help an older rescue cat become comfortable and affectionate over time, which taught me patience and how to build trust with shy or nervous cats. I currently have a tortie of my own, so I understand how important routines, playtime, and a calm environment are. I treat every cat like my own and make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I work full-time as a paraprofessional from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays and am currently earning my master’s degree in elementary education. I’m available for pet care visits in the late afternoons and evenings after 4:30 PM, as well as weekends and school breaks. She was meticulous in her planning and knowing what needed to be done for Floki, plus making sure she had all emergency numbers and what to do in case of an emergency. She made sure Floki was was very well cared for while we were away and even brought him a new ball to play with! He was walked, fed on time and played with in our yard with frequent communications so that we could see all of the fun he was having. I would highly recommend Arabelle to anyone that needs overnight care or even daily check ins. She was just what we needed and expected for our fur family and will be using her again for future day trips and longer vacations!”

About: I have hands-on experience working on two different farms and Hamden CT’s brooksvale park (all throughout high school) , where I cared for a wide variety of animals, including everything from dogs&cats - cows & sheep . I’ve kept close contact with multiple repeat costumers I’ve built lasting friendships with house sitting/dog walking for. These experiences taught me how to read animal behavior, stay patient, and provide attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. In addition to pet and house sitting for friends and family, I grew up with four pit bulls in the house and learned how to care for them as pups aswell as in their old age.
