About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 16. Friends and family trust me to walk, feed and take care of their dogs. I am comfortable taking dogs for long walks around the neighborhood or to the dog park, and I have stayed in home as a pet sitter. My family has a dog and I am involved in her care and play time on a daily basis. I have a very flexible schedule and have lots of time for your pup. I am available for late morning and afternoon walks and playtime. I have an energetic 60 pound dog. I am used to walking a strong dog and can easily handle a dog that may pull. I am happy to walk your dog in your neighborhood and/or play in your yard. I will work with whatever routine your dog is accustomed to.

About: I have hands-on experience working on two different farms and Hamden CT’s brooksvale park (all throughout high school) , where I cared for a wide variety of animals, including everything from dogs&cats - cows & sheep . I’ve kept close contact with multiple repeat costumers I’ve built lasting friendships with house sitting/dog walking for. These experiences taught me how to read animal behavior, stay patient, and provide attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. In addition to pet and house sitting for friends and family, I grew up with four pit bulls in the house and learned how to care for them as pups aswell as in their old age. I Have had smaller pets like hamsters and guinea pigs and currently have my own small dog with a big personality I love very much (side note I can take professional photos of your dog if you’d like) I recently graduated from art school(studying fashion design) and am currently looking for work related to my degree. In the meantime, dog/house sitting and walking fits into my open schedule I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I stay attentive to feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection (including belly rubs and treats if allowed!). I’m also happy to accommodate any special routines, medications, or care instructions to make your pet feel at home

About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds my entire life, dogs, cats, fish, birds, and rodents. There isn’t a single animal on this earth that I don’t love. I have experience working with every type of dog under the sun—even if they are aggressive I will do my best to pacify them. Your animal cannot scare me off I always put my pets first. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is feed my cat, and the last thing I do before I go to sleep is brush his little kitty teeth I am capable of doing whatever is required of me to do, whether it be sitting with your pet while they nap, or playing fetch for 5 hours straight, following what is right for your pet is important to me

“We want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Heather for taking great of our pet yorkie Winnie while we were away. Winnie is 4.5 years old and we have never left him before, so finding the right person was very important to us. We wanted an experienced person who was willing to stay in our home for two weeks to care for Winnie. In Heather we found someone who is experienced, caring, consistently communicates and sends pictures. Heather kept us informed and responded to all our messages very quickly. That was greatly appreciated. It’s clear that Winnie loved having Heather take care of him. We came home to a happy pup and were impressed how clean our house was. We appreciate Heather’s attention, patience and support, as well as her willingness to stay in our home for two weeks. Everything was in perfect shape when we returned. It gave us peace of mind knowing Winnie was in experienced, capable and caring hands. Heather also went beyond just caring for Winnie by doing a variety of things around our house, including bringing in our mail daily. Heather did a great job.”
