I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I stay attentive to feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection (including belly rubs and treats if allowed!). I’m also happy to accommodate any special routines, medications, or care instructions to make your pet feel at home

I appreciate knowing your dog’s routines, personality, triggers, and any special care instructions ahead of time so I can provide the best experience possible. For everyone’s safety, I’m not comfortable caring for dogs with a history of aggression toward people. Other than that, I’m happy to accommodate little things that help your pet feel comfortable — whether that’s extra cuddles, music or TV while relaxing, or sticking closely to their normal routine.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs active and happy! A typical day can include neighborhood walks, hikes, backyard playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of attention and companionship. I enjoy spending quality time with pets and making sure they get both exercise and affection throughout the day

Pet care experience
I have hands-on experience working on two different farms and Hamden CT’s brooksvale park (all throughout high school) , where I cared for a wide variety of animals, including everything from dogs&cats - cows & sheep . I’ve kept close contact with multiple repeat costumers I’ve built lasting friendships with house sitting/dog walking for. These experiences taught me how to read animal behavior, stay patient, and provide attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. In addition to pet and house sitting for friends and family, I grew up with four pit bulls in the house and learned how to care for them as pups aswell as in their old age. I Have had smaller pets like hamsters and guinea pigs and currently have my own small dog with a big personality I love very much (side note I can take professional photos of your dog if you’d like)

I couldn’t recommend Travis more! He has the sweetest soul and loves animals more than anyone I’ve ever met. He took care of my husky, Koda, who isn’t the easiest to manage. Travis handled him with such grace and tenderness! Koda still to this days gets excited to see him.
Travis has proven to be punctual and and thorough taking care of our 3 dogs over the past 2 years, showers our dog with love and keeps them active with long walks and hikes and is very easy to get a hold of when we needed last minute care for our little pack of wolfs
Travis is one of the kindest and most responsible people I have the pleasure of knowing. We have been the closest of friends for many years and I have always been able to rely on Travis. Travis has watched both my pets for me and gave them the best care I could ask for. My cats are my world and Travis treated them like their own and took amazing care of them. I never worry knowing Travis is watching my pets because they are in the best hands.
