About: I have been cat-obsessed for as long as I can remember (even going so far as putting “cat” as my nickname in the 5th grade yearbook, embarrassingly). Understanding a cat’s body language has become second nature after living with cats for my entire life. I am extremely patient with shy kitties who might take some time to get comfortable with a new person. But don’t mistake this as a low-effort cop-out - I fully recognize that cats need enrichment and play and am happy to use a string, mouse toy, laser pointer, spring, or random shoelace to make sure your kitty uses up some energy from their many cat naps.

About: I have had and cared for dogs and various pets most of my life. I have experience working at a puppy shop called CT Breeder, where I cared for different breeds of puppies, administered meds, and socialized them with other dogs. Most recently I have care for my dog from a puppy, which is a Bichon/Shih Tzu mixed. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old and he is now 3 years old. I potty trained him and taught him some fun tricks. I have also pet set for a family member who has a French Bulldog. I am currently a full time nursing student and I have classes Monday through Thursday. I am available to care for your furry friends Thursday night to Sunday. Depending on the service that I will be providing, I will just follow the guidelines of the owner as far as dog sitting especially overnight. I would care for your furry friends just as you would, so if there are any special precautions just let me know.

Currently part time, my availability is Sunday, Monday and Thursday. Hours can be interchangeable; never be afraid to ask :). Completely free those days to be attentive to your pets. I’ve had dogs all my life. I know how to play with animals for maximum exercise, can follow dietary instructions and have a deep rooted love for all species. Dogs are the babies in my home and receive the utmost care and love. Never worry about other dogs in the home or mistreatment from others.

“Andrea was super nice and managed to accomodate our last-minute Christmas booking. She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos, and our dogs looked quite happy and relaxed. Her house has a fenced-in area that they loved to play in. Most impressive of all, though, was that Andrea let the dogs into her bedroom (they are used to sleeping next to us), on Christmas no less. Our dogs seemed in great shape when we picked them up after their 3 day stay. She seems to be a very caring and careful dog sitter. We would have no hesitation in our leaving our dogs with her again. “this was our first time using any kind of boarding for our 8-month old puppy, so we were very careful in choosing Monique, who had only 5-star reviews and multiple folks who re-booked. We are so happy with the care she gave Jax. She sent daily pictures and/or videos, and we could see he was having a great time. The proof was when we picked him up, he went and gave her a big hug goodbye. We are already booking our 2nd stay with her. She is very loving with them and takes great care, and is obviously a dog lover. Her dog Luppie is such a sweetheart, and he and Jax played very well together. It gave us total comfort leaving Jax with her.”
