“Andrea was super nice and managed to accomodate our last-minute Christmas booking. She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos, and our dogs looked quite happy and relaxed. Her house has a fenced-in area that they loved to play in. Most impressive of all, though, was that Andrea let the dogs into her bedroom (they are used to sleeping next to us), on Christmas no less. Our dogs seemed in great shape when we picked them up after their 3 day stay. She seems to be a very caring and careful dog sitter. We would have no hesitation in our leaving our dogs with her again. Thanks!”
“Amazing Service. Karina was very caring and responsive. She kept us informed with text message with pictures of how the day was progressing with our dog. She was even able to get him to eat regularly — which has been a problem at times. We highly recommend Karina as a Dog sitter and only which she were available to usnear our home in Florida”

About: I’ve had kitties my whole life as a result of my mom’s inability to ignore a stray (a gene in which i’ve inherited). I currently have 5 kitties back home in FL, which i miss desperately!! From bottle feeding babies to end of life/comfort care for seniors, I’ve done it all.

About: Growing up, we often looked after our neighbors’ cats—especially one that liked to wander the neighborhood. We’d make sure they were safe, fed, and cared for whenever they came around. Sometimes we’d take them in for a while, give them food, and keep them company until they were ready to head back home. That early experience taught us to be patient, gentle, and attentive to cats’ unique personalities and needs.

“Gracie had a great day with Mariana and her crew. Mariana welcomed her with open arms. Having the fenced back yard so accessible is perfect for letting dogs in and out as needed, but the house itself is comfy and warm -- just right for these snowy, cold winter days. I highly recommend Mariana as a loving dog care giver.”

“Stephanie has been very responsive to us in onboarding our 5 year old rescue to her care. She takes the time to get to know the dogs she cares for and works with them. Her calming way with the dogs inspires trust. We’ve done a one day visit in preparation for a longer stay. So far so great!”
“We had a wonderful experience using Ingrid’s doggy day care services for the first time. We started with a meet and greet and Ingrid is helping Shadow ease into the new space and other dog intros in a digestible fashion. She is quick to respond, has great communication, very professional and experienced, with attentiveness towards each dog’s unique needs. It’s a relief to know my pup is in safe, caring hands getting the love, attention, play and exercise he needs. We just moved to the area and are looking forward to booking with Ingrid regularly during my work days. Thank you, Ingrid!”

“Andrea was just wonderful. It was my first time leaving them with a sitter. I knew I could trust her with my babies right off the bat. She’s sweet and caring and communicated with me the whole time because I was anxious being away from them. It’s easy to see that she is a dog person to the core. Highly recommend!”

“Mari is so sweet and so clearly a dog lover. Our pups were so happy and comfortable with her during a day of doggy daycare. And I loved that she stayed in touch and sent a ton of pics and videos during the stay. It gave me peace of mind to leave the pups with her while I was at work. Can’t wait for Kumi and Goku’s next booking with Mari!!”

About: Caring for animals has been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home that always had two dogs at a time, and before moving out, my family had raised six wonderful dogs together. From energetic pups to older companions, I’ve experienced the full range of what it means to care for dogs through different stages of life. I currently share my home with two special-needs cats, which has taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of understanding each animal’s unique personality and needs. Managing medications, monitoring behavior changes, and creating a calm, safe environment are all things I take seriously. My primary goal when caring for your pet is simple: I want them to feel happy, secure, and relaxed while you’re away. I also know how important peace of mind is for owners. I’m communicative, reliable, and happy to provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and cared for. I treat every animal with gentleness, respect, and the kind of attention I would want for my own pets. I work remotely in IT for a nonprofit organization, which gives me a very flexible weekday schedule. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy having some furry company during the week. Whether that means a midday walk to break up my workday or a fuzzy companion nearby while I’m at my desk. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to structure my schedule around walks, feeding times, medication needs, or check-ins. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and you can expect consistent updates while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your routines and instructions carefully. I follow feeding schedules, medication needs, walking routines, and house rules closely so your pet’s world feels as consistent and familiar as possible while you’re away. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly. If your pet stays in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. They will have their own dedicated space in my finished basement office that is clean, hazard-free, and separate from my cats. This allows visiting pets to relax without feeling overwhelmed, and ensures everyone stays safe and stress-free. The space includes a comfortable couch just for them, plenty of room to stretch out, and a calm environment away from household noise. I’m home during the day, so they’ll receive regular supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention, balanced with quiet time to rest.
“Max had a great first day of daycare with Cheyanne and her pups. Leading up to this stay, Cheyanne was very friendly, quick to respond, answered all my questions, and seemed very knowledgeable. She sent some cute photos, and Max came home happy and relaxed. We will definitely book again!”

“Noemi is incredible! She made Blue and I feel right at home. Her children are also incredibly sweet and loving. Blue had a fantastic time and took advantage of her large fenced in yard. I can tell he had a great time as he took a hearty nap as soon as we got home :) Thank you for all you do Noemi! Looking forward to return.”

“My fur baby requires a great deal of attention due to some health challenges. This makes me very careful about who cares for him. I am so Blessed to have Liza taking care of my lil guy. I would highly recommend her to people that need puppy ? care”

“Zuly and her family took wonderful care of my poodle, Babette. She is a great communicator, and understands the needs of dogs from years of experience. Her home was neat, immaculate, and felt very welcoming. I look forward to using her services in the future!”

“She's a truly a nurturing dog person who took care of my dog as her own. I really loved the facilities and set up for my dog. A very open home with a fenced in backyard. After the second day my dog ran to Kylie on her own during drop off. She was a great host and i would repeat dropping my dog, Nancy off again. Thanks again for the professionalism and for my dog's care.”

“Brianna took great care of Peanut. She was responsive in communication and kept me updated with photos of Peanut. I was a bit late in sending Peanut and early in picking up Peanut, but Brianna accommodated my schedule. Peanut seems to have made friends with Brianna's dog and is very happy when being picked up. Peanut also seems to have had a comfortable time on Brianna's bed.”

About: I’m a mother of 3 children and two fur babies, a Labrador and a tuxedo cat. In addition to caring for my own pets over the years, I have some experience with foster care as well as veterinary assistance. My schedule is flexible as I am a stay at home parent. Daytime is best but I am also available for night check ins and weekends. My pets are very friendly but I will respect the wishes of the pet owner on how much exposure they prefer their pet to have to other people or pets, as well as any other safety concerns they may have. I live on a low traffic cul-de-sac street, ideal for walking.
About: While I may be new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to caring for animals! I’ve looked after pets for family, friends, and neighbors over the years — including walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of cuddles. As well as my own pets, such as cats, dogs, turtles & guinea pigs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I always take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine. Whether your pup loves long walks or just wants someone to hang out with, I’m here to give them the love and attention they need while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. You can count on me to be punctual, responsible, and communicative — with plenty of updates and photos to keep you in the loop! My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved — just like they would with you. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the attention they deserve — whether that’s sticking to feeding times, giving medications, a sleepover or just spending time to keep them happy and comfortable. I always make it a priority to follow each pet’s routine closely, so they feel safe and at ease when their owners are away. When pets stay in my home, I do everything I can to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable — just like part of the family. I provide a clean, calm environment where they can relax, play, and stick to their normal routine. And when I care for pets in your home I treat it with respect, making sure everything stays clean and as I found it. Whether it’s giving medication, tidying up food/water bowls, or spending quality time with your pet, I handle each visit with care and attention. I know how important it is to stay connected while you’re away, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind.

About: Hi! I’m Maya! I’m a recent medical school graduate taking time off before residency, with two cats and too many plants. I’ve loved all animals for as long as I can remember and have 20+ years of experience (personal and professional) with cats, dogs, horses, hamsters, snakes…. I feel very comfortable/capable taking care of and walking large dogs. During college, grad school, and medical school I frequently pet sat/walked numerous cats and dogs, including being a regular walker for a 70+ lb German Shepard and a high energy terrier puppy, and taking care of older cats and dogs with medical needs. Although I am not specifically trained in first aid for pets, my human medical experience and background with horses makes it so that I am comfortable managing the vast majority of pets’ medical needs or situations that may arise. I live in Westville but am happy to travel to you! My schedule is very flexible and can easily be arranged for dog walking and pet sitting, including at short notice. I am currently working from home with a very flexible schedule and a lot of free time - I’d love to fit your pet into it! Unfortunately I am not able to bring your pets into my home, as my own cats would object. I am able to come to your home to take care of your animals, or take them for walks or to a park of your choosing!

“Brianna is fantastic - not only did she save me when Riot’s usual sitters dropped out just 10 days before a business trip, she also took time to meet with me and reassure me, cared like a pro for Riot’s ears when of course she got an ear infection and a hematoma 3 days before the trip, sent so many cute pics and vids of Riot, put up with her fire alarm barks, and just generally cared for my annoying little baby so well. Brianna is a fabulous human being. Thank you so much!”

Thanks!”
“Anthony was super responsive and flexible. He’s got a great set up, really knows how to care for dogs and make sure they’re socialized correctly, and you can tell he really cares about the dogs staying with him!”

“Kayla and Matt are the nicest couple and true dog lovers! Our dog Lewi had a marvelous time, and we received regular photo updates. He was clearly very happy there! It’s great that they have a fenced in yard, their dog Penny is so sweet, and they also went on walks. Very highly recommend!”

“Davon was amazing. I outreached very impromptu and he was available for a meet and greet with Arya. ( which went well. We reviewed the basics of her care and he made sure to get a full understanding of what is needed to make Aryas stay as comfortable as possible) drop off was nice. He has spacious living accommodations. What stood out is his willingness to work with Arya being that she is a Bully. There are a many false conceptions about this breed. With his family background working with bully’s and pitbull, and his love for animals in general, I had no concerns that Arya was in good care. During her overnight visit, he provided checks up and sent pictures for reassurance. He also introduced Arya to family and friends ( which I love ) being that she is not around other dogs or people, helping her socialize. Picking Arya up was easy. All items returned and she was happy ! I previously boarded her , and when picking her up she was distant, had scratches and limped !!! All in all, 5 stars for Devon. I recommend and will use him again. 🐾💕”

“Jayme was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly flexible with our schedule and always responded quickly to our messages. We felt so at ease knowing Finnegan was in such good hands. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him and that he had a great time with her dogs. We highly recommend Jayme to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter!”

“Apologies on the late review but I just had to write about Cheyanne. She was BEYOND WONDERFUL for our pup during our wedding. She was so kind and thoughtful in all the messages we exchanged and really was great for our pup. Her yard was super clean and I felt comfortable leaving our little one with her and her two sweet girls. We got married the middle of September in New Haven. We needed someone to watch our pup but also bring him to the venue for photos on of the afternoons. She did just that and was so great with him during our photos at the venue. She even included photos of him she took herself after she brought him home. It was a great experience and we will be using her again if we need someone in CT. Our Leo loved her and almost didn’t want to go back home with us when we left! He came home tired and happy. Thank you Cheyanne for all you do and we wish you and your boyfriend the best of luck.”
