6. Mikayla & Justin W.
About: Hello! My name is Mikayla and I am a Yale graduate student who recently moved to New Haven with my husband. Since 2010, and on my own since 2017, I took care of my family yellow lab, Molly, until she passed at 13.5 years old. Through this, I have had experience with all stages of a dog’s life, with extensive experience in senior care. I am also available for boarding other pets as well (i.e. cats). Due to my flexible school schedule I am available to walk or board your pet at most times throughout the week. My husband, Justin, and I cannot wait to welcome your pet into our home and we promise to love and take of them while you are away. Feel free to reach out if you have any direct questions. Looking forward to caring for your pet!! 😊 I am a graduate nursing student with a flexible schedule where I only go into school or clinicals 2x a week. I am also able to come back throughout the day during those times. Lastly, my husband works from home so someone is always there to care for your pet. I have a partially fenced yard for your dog to play and use the restroom. Our home is open and clean, making it easy for cats and dogs to move around. It is 2 floors, but the first floor is main living so senior pets do not need to access the stairs.

7. Shannon C.
“Shannon has watched our elderly dog many times over the years. Our dog is diabetic so leaving them alone with just anyone can be unsettling. Shannon has a great attitude, very responsible and trustworthy. When we travel its great to not worry about our pet because of Shannons excellent care.”

8. Patty B.

“Patty is so sweet, responsive and came early! She is clearly also very experienced and needed no directions on using butters’ harness or walking him”

9. Liz W.

“Liz is AWESOME, and we could not be more tickled to have connected with such a kind and responsive new friend! We will be calling again on our future visits to New Haven!!”

10. Molly J.

“Molly has been amazing! She is the perfect balance of gentle, caring and firm with our bundle of energy boarder collie. Even in some rotten weather Molly gets the pup out for some fresh air. Thank you Molly!”

11. Brianna R.

“Super helpful, thank you!”

12. Emmery K.

“Emmery is fantastic. She shows up on-time. She is super sweet and my dog loved her. She was so good with Nyx that the next day, when Nyx heard the knock on the door, she was already up and heading to the door in excitement! What more could you ask for?”

13. Abigail P.
“Abby is a fantastic dog sitter. She has taken care of my black lab, Harvey, many times - including multi-night stays. She is responsible, communicative, and loves dogs. Harvey always has a great time too. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for pet care!”

14. Lily W.

“Lily was simply the best. She was thoughtful, loving, and fun with our boys. She took our very athletic/high-energy schnauzer on a great walk. She spent quality time playing with our dogs, including applying different ways of engaging with them. We couldn’t be more grateful to have found Lily on here.”

15. Jacalyn G.

“Thanks Jacalyn. Definitely I will continue to ask for your help.”

16. Leily B.
About: I have 6 years of dog walking and cat sitting experience. I'm used to taking care of dogs of all sizes as well as puppies and their various needs. I just moved to New Haven and I'm looking to start caring for pets here! I will treat your pet the way I would treat my own and would make sure to care for them in a responsible manner. As a pet owner myself, I know how important responsible care is. I have two cats, so I totally understand the concerns when hiring a new person to care for your loved pet! Due to my cats, I'm not able to accept boarders at the moment, other than one small-medium dog (who is fine with cats) for weekends only. I am a local graduate student so I apologize in advance if I can't make certain requested times. I can't wait to work with you and your lovely pets! I am a full-time graduate student but have a flexible schedule. I do not have a car so would only be able to service requests in New Haven. I'm well aware of environmental risks associated with dogs and cats. I'm overly cautious about windows expecially with cats. In addition, I'm responsible with the environment that either puppies or kittens occupy; to not leave food around or small objects/threads that they may mistakenly ingest.

17. Mary Quinn M.

“We could not have been happier with the care Calligan and Seaver received from Quinn. Highly communicative, timely, responsible, and clearly loved our pups as much as we do. Will definitely use again.”

18. Diana A.

“Diana easily takes care of my four dogs without a trouble. She's been helping me out with Lilly, Maisie, Josie, and Lexi for years now. The energy and patience she possesses is impressive. Even I at times can barely handle having four dogs! Yet she handles it with class. I'd recommend her to anyone.”

19. Anthony C.
“Anthony has watched my pup many times! He is attentive, on time, prompt, and communicative. I received daily updates and/or photos. I will continue to use Anthony!”

20. Yiran L.
“Yiran is a very thoughtful, responsible and attentive caregiver to my dog Leo. My puppy is a 20-lbs mini golden doodle full of energy but also very affectionate. He loves staying with Yiran because she understands both his needs to have a full and active lifestyle, while also nurturing his loving nature. She takes him on long walks and brings him with her whenever possible, which helps with his separation anxiety. I never have to worry when I am on a trip and Leo is with Yiran because I know he feels as loved as he does at home!”
