“I found AnnMarie randomly on Rover and met her in person for a Meet and Greet. My dog is very territorial, and he instantly gravitated to AnnMarie. He even went on his back so she could give him a belly rub! Talking to her in person and talking to her references I gave her a chance and had her come to our house to do drop in visits while we were away. I am so glad I made the decision because AnnMarie went above and beyond to take care of our dog Hanz! We were gone for 6 days and it happened to be the week of the heat wave in Livermore. Our dog cannot be inside the house by himself and AnnMarie monitored the weather and communicated with me when she would bring him in the house to stay in his crate. She walked him at night when the weather was cooler. My family and I had such a great time on our vacation and I immediately felt comfortable and knew our dog was in good hands with AnnMarie. We will definitely use AnnMarie in the future when we need a sitter for our dog!”

“Emily was very friendly and easy to work with, and she took great care of our kitty while we were away for a week. She sent us reassuring and helpful updates, and we came home to a happy cat and a clean “cat room” as well. We’ve already rebooked for our next trip, and would definitely recommend her.”

“So grateful to have had Kayla’s help with my cat as I traveled. She was consistently on time with great communication, including lovely pictures and detailed updates. Most importantly, Siena (my cat) was in one of the best moods she’s been in after I’ve been away. Thank you!”

“Garret was really wonderful from the very beginning with an acceptance to show up for taking care of my pets on very unplanned short notice. He was very good with my dog, cat and actually made friends with them by the end of the day! He is kind, communicative, easy to coordinate with and most importantly, he reaches to pets with gentleness that I think is hard to find. Thanks, Garret! I appreciate you! Good luck!”

“We never worry about our pups when Tina is stopping by! She is the best sitter we’ve ever had and are so luck and fortunate to have found her. Our pups love her and we appreciate being able to trust that in Tina’s care they are treated like royalty.”

“Amanda was patience and very determined to help my kitty have the easiest possible time while I was away. My kitty had other goals. I truly appreciate all of Amanda's efforts and was so glad to come home to my safe and healthy and happy kitty.”

About: I am not yet ready to have another pet of my own, so I get great comfort from sharing my love and affection with those families that need it. I have had dogs, cats, a rabbit and a horse throughout my childhood years. My love bug, a 140lb Rottweiler, was the best partner a young woman could have. It was very hard saying goodbye to him. I understand the amount of time, love and attention our pets require of us and I’m happy to be part of the team that can help reduce the concerns when apart or busy. I’ve dog sat at others homes. I’ve kept dogs with me at mine. I’m flexible and understand that each owner has their own unique preferences for the way they want their family member taken care of. I look forward to getting to know you and your loved one! I’m exploring my freedom from corporate life and currently have a lot of open time in my schedule. I’m looking to stay active and walking is a key part of that. I’d love to have a companion to get out and putting the miles on my step counter. I would prefer caring for your pet in a setting more familiar to them, their own home when possible. I know that each owner has unique standards that they want followed and I welcome having detailed instructions and information to follow. Outside of the guidelines that I might get, I’m happy to play, do some basic training, build the pet’s confidence and nurture with attention and affection.

“Pri was a fantastic sitter for our kitty Boris! He REALLY took to her and enjoyed spending time snuggling with her. It was comforting to know she was there with our guy. Pri was very communicative and we knew our boy was in good hands. We definitely recommend Pri!”

About: I have always had pets growing up, for as long as I can remember. Since I was 4 years old, I’ve been some kind of pet parent to many dogs, several cats, 2 hamsters, 4 rabbits, 2 snakes, 2 turtles, a bunch of fish and sea snails and even a couple hermit crabs! I currently have a rescue dog, Scout, and a rescue kitty, Pepper. Animals are naturally attracted to me and I’m happy to give them scratches with my long nails! Finding the dog’s “spot” <insert legs shake here!> or getting a kitty to purr, is my happy place. I’m excited to be considered for your pet care needs. I passionately believe our fur-babies are a member of the family and deserve all of our unconditional love, respect and care. I’m currently looking for full time work, and lately I’ve been Face Painting on the weekends, so I was thinking I could help folks during the week for dog potty breaks, kitty play and dog walking during the day. :) I don’t Face Paint every weekend so I could be available selection weekends. My dog is crate trained so I am used to directing them to go into their crate. We make sure we scoop our cat’s litter EVERY DAY, as we know the importance of a tidy box. Aka, no peeing outside the box! My animals are allowed on our furniture… well, who am I kidding? I’m on the couch or recliner and then our dog or cat is on me! LOL.

“Trevor is amazing! My car, Loki, warmed up to him very fast. Trevor is attentive, friendly, and really loves what he does. I’m so glad to have found someone I can trust my cat son with”

About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, and small animals, I bring a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and safety. I’m currently working in a veterinary clinic and pursuing my veterinary technician license, which gives me daily experience handling a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. Whether it’s administering medications, managing special diets, or simply offering comfort and companionship, I provide dependable, knowledgeable care that pet parents can trust. Although I work full-time, I’m available for morning and afternoon visits during the week, as well as full availability on weekends. I treat every home with respect and always leave it cleaner than I found it—your pets and your space will be in great hands!

About: I volunteered at the Oakland SPCA. My duties there included cleaning dog kennels and taking dogs out for potty breaks. I had to complete a safety training in dog behavior for this position. I grew up with a black lab who I provided primary care for once I was old enough. In college, I took courses in animal husbandry and animal training which I applied to my own dog and to my volunteer position. At work, part of my responsibility is animal husbandry for our animal ambassadors (snakes, insects, and a spider). My experience can be applied to caring for dogs as well because both of these require attention to detail and understanding the needs of different animals. I love dogs! I'm passionate about animals and providing quality care through patience and attention to detail. I have pet sit for friends and colleagues in the past. I will treat your dog as if it were my own. I usually work 4-10 hour shifts (6am -4pm Sunday-Wednesday) so I am often available on my days off and during the typical 9-5 work day on my days off. I am also able to watch your dog in your home on the days I do work. I am comfortable crating your dog if needed, taking your pup for a walk, or playing fetch in a fenced yard. I am adaptable to care for dogs with different needs and energy levels.

About: I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family because they know how much I care. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, a game of fetch, or just some cuddle time, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m responsible, easy to communicate with, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I am available for walks or drop ins. I work remote, so I have a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule. I am available on weekdays and weekends. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and personalities energetic puppies, stubborn seniors, shy rescues, and everything in between. I’m comfortable handling strong leash pullers, giving meds, and tuning into what each pet needs to feel safe and cared for. I’m also very respectful of your home during visits.

“Lesley was prompt for each drop-in visit, sent great pictures, and provided us with peace of mind during our trip away! We were nervous because our 2 cats can be very shy with new people, but they warmed up to Lesley right away. We’ll absolutely reach out to her the next time we go out of town to hang out with our kitties some more!”

Ashley B.
“We have hired Ashley numerous times -- she has taken care of our cats and our horses - a total of 6 animals all at once. Every time Ashley has helped us, she did an amazing job. We always came home to very happy furry kids - and in the summer, during heat waves, she would hose down our horses without our even asking because she knew they needed that level of care. Our trust in Ashley with not only our animals, but complete access to our home, was absolute. She is responsible, kind and treated our animals like they were her own beloveds. We give Ashley the highest marks possible and more!!!”

Contagious energy and compassionate attitude that your pet is sure to pick up on :)”

We really appreciated Jennifer’s attention to detail and communication while she cared for our cat. She shared her observations and reached out quickly for clarification about his needs. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our little fur ball was in good hands. Thanks!

10/10 would have Garret care for my pets again! He was attentive and flexible with scheduling. He gave my cat all the attention, pets, and play that she needed while we were gone. Ensured daily videos and photos, which were truly appreciated. Would recommend Garret to anyone looking for a pet sitter!

We were pretty nervous about using a dog sitter for the first time, since we’ve only ever had family watch our dogs. But Julie completely put us at ease. One of our dogs is usually shy and anxious around new people, but she warmed up and trusted her within a day — which really says it all. Julie has such a calm, gentle energy and clearly cares so much about animals. She kept us updated with photos and messages daily, and it was obvious our pups were happy, relaxed, and well taken care of. We’re so glad we took the chance and found someone we trust this much. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful sitter!

AnnMarie took such great care of our baby boy, as always! We hate leaving him behind, but it gives us so much peace of mind knowing that AnnMarie will be here with him, giving him treats and love and playtime and making sure all his needs are well-met! Every time she visits, our kitty gets more and more comfortable and familiar with her and we know we can rest easy! Best cat sitter ever! So grateful for her!

This is the second time Victoria have watched our 2 kitties. She was great with them- they loved her! Her love of animals shines through with her communications and pictures she sends after every visit. I feel at ease and very comfortable with her taking care of our kitties knowing they will be taken care of and loved while I am away. She goes above and beyond and will definitely request her again and again!
