About: Growing up in a house full of dogs, I learned early on that a home isn't complete without four paws and a wagging tail. Though it’s been some time since I lived with my childhood pack, my love for dogs has never faded. I’ve been missing those energetic outdoor adventures, and I would love nothing more than to treat your furry friend to a wonderful walk. I’m ready to bring all those years of experience back to the pavement! My daily routine is quite flexible; other than the kids' school run, I can spend all day with my furry friends. I’d love to fill my mornings with long walks and my afternoons with a cat napping on my lap." I prefer caring for cats in their own homes to avoid stress. For dogs, I love taking them for a nice walk or some exercise nearby and returning them home.
“So grateful to have had Kayla’s help with my cat as I traveled. She was consistently on time with great communication, including lovely pictures and detailed updates. Most importantly, Siena (my cat) was in one of the best moods she’s been in after I’ve been away. Thank you!”

About: “I’ve cared for dogs of every size and spirit—from gentle giants like English Mastiffs, St. Bernards, and Rottweilers to energetic Belgian Malinois and tiny charmers like Pomeranians. I meet each pup exactly where they are, whether that means slow strolls, playful wiggles, or calm reassurance. My style is patient, joyful, and tailored to each dog’s personality. Big paws, small paws, shy, silly, or spirited—I make sure every pup feels safe, understood, and wonderfully loved.” “Even with a Monday–Thursday day job, your pets never miss out on love and fun! Early mornings start with walks and cuddles, midday drop-ins cover snacks, potty breaks, and a little play, and evenings are all about wagging tails, purrs, and extra snuggles. Fridays, weekends, and flexible evenings are reserved for extra adventures, long walks, and special care—so every tail wags and every whisker twitches with happiness while you’re away!” “Tail wags, purrs, cuddles, and playful zoomies—your pets get it all! My visits are filled with energizing dog walks, cozy cat snuggles, and fun, interactive play for all furry (and tiny ) friends. I also handle medications with care, following your vet’s instructions so your pets stay healthy and comfortable. Drop-in visits cover meals, fresh water, potty breaks, and any little extra love your pets need. Every visit is unique to each personality, making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and wonderfully spoiled while you’re away.”
“He was great with the cats. My social cat liked him from the first meeting. He knew how to let me other cat come to him and that cat warmed up to him on his second day. I know the cats were happy for me to be home, but they were not too desperate for attention. I got regular pictures and updates while I was gone. He also took out the trash, washed bedding, and left my house clean. I'll definitely check if he is available if/when I need to hire a sitter again.”

“I was very pleased with the service for Alexa. I would definitely book with them again. I had no worries and a stress free experience. Quick responses, on time and professional.”

“Thank you so much for watching Fireheart while we were away. It’s such a relief leaving him with you because of the love and care you provide. The pictures you send are so wonderful and they show how much he loves you and you look after him and play with him like he is your own. Thank you again Sarah”

About: I am not yet ready to have another pet of my own, so I get great comfort from sharing my love and affection with those families that need it. I have had dogs, cats, a rabbit and a horse throughout my childhood years. My love bug, a 140lb Rottweiler, was the best partner a young woman could have. It was very hard saying goodbye to him. I understand the amount of time, love and attention our pets require of us and I’m happy to be part of the team that can help reduce the concerns when apart or busy. I’ve dog sat at others homes. I’ve kept dogs with me at mine. I’m flexible and understand that each owner has their own unique preferences for the way they want their family member taken care of. I look forward to getting to know you and your loved one! I’m exploring my freedom from corporate life and currently have a lot of open time in my schedule. I’m looking to stay active and walking is a key part of that. I’d love to have a companion to get out and putting the miles on my step counter. I would prefer caring for your pet in a setting more familiar to them, their own home when possible. I know that each owner has unique standards that they want followed and I welcome having detailed instructions and information to follow. Outside of the guidelines that I might get, I’m happy to play, do some basic training, build the pet’s confidence and nurture with attention and affection.
“Emily was very friendly and easy to work with, and she took great care of our kitty while we were away for a week. She sent us reassuring and helpful updates, and we came home to a happy cat and a clean “cat room” as well. We’ve already rebooked for our next trip, and would definitely recommend her.”

“Renee is the BEST cat sitter on earth! My cat absolutely loved her! She sent lots of pictures and updates. She even ordered in treats and extra food for my baby when I ran into an issue that prevented me from picking up my cat on time. She is a true animal person and a gentle, kind human being! Her rates are affordable especially for cat services. I have been using Rover for 10 years, and she is definitely someone I would use again and again!”

“10/10 would have Garret care for my pets again! He was attentive and flexible with scheduling. He gave my cat all the attention, pets, and play that she needed while we were gone. Ensured daily videos and photos, which were truly appreciated. Would recommend Garret to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: I have lots of experience with dogs, cats and even bearded dragons! I treat every pet like my own — with love, patience, and a whole lot of pets. From energetic fetch sessions to peaceful strolls and everything in between, I make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and cared for every step of the way. Because when you can’t be there, you deserve to know your pet is in kind, trustworthy hands (and having a blast, too!). Back in the office? I’ve got you covered. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for pets — caring for them has been something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember. After years of helping friends, family, and neighbors with their pets, I decided to finally turn that passion into something more. Pet sitting and walking isn’t just a side gig for me — it’s something that truly brings me joy. I love building trust with every pet I meet, getting to know their little quirks, and making sure they feel happy and loved while their owners are away. There’s nothing better than wagging tails, happy paws, and knowing I can make both pets and their people feel comfortable and cared for. In a clients home, I will refill fresh water, provide food and medicine if needed. In addition, play with your pets while encouraging positive pet behavior and basic training such as sit, stay, lay down, shake, etc! I will send photo updates as well!
About: I grew up always having multiple dogs and cats and would love the chance to watch your fur baby! I have a hybrid schedule and work from home a few days a week, so my schedule is flexible and can give all the time and attention your pet needs. I have cared for pets of all age ranges and am comfortable giving any oral medications if needed. I love having dogs around the house whether they are active and want to play or just sleep on the couch or in a dog bed. I live in a house in a safe neighborhood and decent sized fenced in yard. The home is a smoke/vape free space. Nothing is left out that puppies can get into. I am home most days, so I am available to keep you whatever schedule your pup is used to. I am typically in office Mondays and Tuesdays, so you will see those days blocked off on my calendar. Dogs are allowed on the couches and we have gates if you recommend keeping them to a certain area. If your pup needs to be crated when left alone, please bring their crate with them at drop off.

“Gabby did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away. I will be re-booking with her when I travel again. She was fast to respond to messages, very friendly, and professional. She made the whole process easy for a first time Rover user.”

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing. She took great care of our two cats while we were gone, was always on time, had great communication and sent lots of photos, and really went out of her way to make sure our cats had lots of attention and love. Thank you again Stephanie!”
“Michael is a through professional when it comes to taking care of your pets. He has a detailed questionnaire before he takes you as clients. He visited our home and took notes on how to take care of our pets. He was very punctual while visiting them when we were out. He brought our packages inside the house. He played with our cats and took cute pictures of them for us. One of our cats is shy and would hide below the sofa when Michael visited. Michael would still get pictures of him for us. I would highly recommend Michael for all your pet sitting needs and we would definitely rebook him when we go out of town. Thanks Michael.”

Livermore cat parents share their Rover experiences
Micheal is an outstanding pet sitter, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found him. He cared for my two cats throughout December while I was overseas and consistently went above and beyond during every visit. Although each drop-in was scheduled for 30 minutes, he regularly stayed close to an hour to make sure everything was done thoroughly and correctly. I use a non-standard litter box setup (crystal litter with a metal tray and layered liners), and he took the time to learn my system carefully. He was extremely thorough and meticulous when changing and maintaining the litter, which I truly appreciated since it’s different from what most pet owners use. He was attentive to every detail—cleaning and refilling the water system, maintaining the automatic feeder and litter box, vacuuming litter tracking, and ensuring my cats’ environment was safe and comfortable. When unexpected issues came up (such as water tipping over or my cats breaking into their feeder), he handled everything perfectly and even agreed to make an extra emergency visit to fix the problem. What really stood out was how much he genuinely cared. He offered thoughtful advice on pet-proofing my home and always communicated professionally and promptly. I had complete peace of mind knowing my cats were in such caring and capable hands. I would absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for exceptional cat care.

As a first-time Rover user, I was a bit nervous, but Samantha immediately put both me and my cat at ease. She was extremely communicative, shared adorable photos, and was very easy to work with. She even took care of bringing my garbage cans out, which I truly appreciated. I would highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter!

Christine took excellent care of my cat Seuss while I was away! She was communicative, reliable, and patient with him. I really appreciated the updates knowing he was in good hands while I was on my trip. I’d absolutely highly recommend Christine and will be using her again in the future, thank you!

Julie did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away. I really appreciated that she gave me updates with the Rover cards with reviews of each visit, which gave me piece of mind while away. Julie was a really good fit as a cat expert and had great experience to take care of my shy cats.

10/10 would have Garret care for my pets again! He was attentive and flexible with scheduling. He gave my cat all the attention, pets, and play that she needed while we were gone. Ensured daily videos and photos, which were truly appreciated. Would recommend Garret to anyone looking for a pet sitter!

This is the second time Victoria have watched our 2 kitties. She was great with them- they loved her! Her love of animals shines through with her communications and pictures she sends after every visit. I feel at ease and very comfortable with her taking care of our kitties knowing they will be taken care of and loved while I am away. She goes above and beyond and will definitely request her again and again!
