About: I’ve taken care of my cat for 5 years, volunteered 1 year at the Valley Humane Society for cat-care, and have taken care of my sisters, and friends dogs here-and-there. My cat is trained and knows how to sit, stand, twirl, lie down, jump, and give a paw. If I can train a cat, I can deal with your dog. My dog care experience is limited, but, this means I will just be even more cautious and will research the in’s and out’s of dog care like a detective in order to make sure I will get everything right. If you have any specific instructions, I will gladly listen and follow them to a tee. My household has 3 adults, 1 senior, and 1 black cat. They will not assist with caretaking but may lightly interact with the pet. The house includes a backyard with a pool and tree-house. Tons of cat toys, cat tree, and a cat-proofed home. 1 huge window to the backyard, and 1 huge window to the front yard (the 2 cat-TV’s 📺), which is perfect for cats to watch the squirrels and birds frolick and the rain and leaves fall. My house is close to the Arroyo River trail, which is a perfect place for dog-walking. Your pet will be cared for, engaged, filled up with safe food, and all-set for a good nights sleep. I go to community college 15 minutes away from my house; and so will be home often. I will have time to take care of your pet after college hours. My home, cat: Your cat will first be placed into my room, and slowly introduced with my cat by scent. If it is clear that the cats are friendly with each other, I may introduce Abraham into the room if it is okay with the owner.* The cat will stay in this room for the night.* I will give the cats necessary space, avoid eye contact until they are comfortable, and will not pet unless they clearly are enjoying it. In the room, the cats will have its own bed, cat tree, litter box, tons of toys and safe spaces where it can retreat to. This room is cat-proofed (wires are hidden or wrapped with hard plastic; no places where it can escape, etc.) Your cat will be 100% safe with me, and will have a lot of fun! Your home, cat: I will interact with your cat in the same respectful way as above ^. I will obey the rules of your home and make sure that I know where the cat is. I am great at engaging even the most bored cats with play, and know how to make it exciting for them. My home, dog: Only small dogs and no overnight. I have a small cat at home, and a large dog will likely scare him. At my house, your dog will enjoy the company of 3 adults and will get to explore a backyard with a pool + tree house. The backyard is fenced, but has much shorter fences on the left-side aisle, and a tree that can be used to escape— so the pup will be leashed at all times or put in a crate (if you have a crate to provide, that would be great!) My house is very close to the Arroyo River trail, which is the perfect place for a dog walk. I will play with your pup like they are my own child! I am creative with the ways I play and try to show them new things. Your dog will be engaged with, fed safe food, supervised and set for a great nights sleep. Your home, dog: I will research the needs of your specific dog breed and comply as precisely as possible. I’ll obey the rules of your home and make sure your dog is entertained, fed, and happy at the end of the day.

About: I have owned dogs since I was 10 years old and cats since the mid 1970's. I have cared for, fed, walked, played with not only my own, but for friends and neighbors as well. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to walk and care for your pets. Mid-mornings to early afternoons some days, all day on other days. I am currently not available to care for your pets in my home due to having 3 dogs and 2 cats already. Anything can change in the future though.

Trevor was a wonderful sitter for our kitten and somewhat anxious dog. They took to him right away and it’s clear that he really loves and connects with animals. He took great care of them, including an emergency vet visit and dealing with medication, etc. He also left the house in great shape. We would definitely use Trevor again with no hesitation. We were visiting Livermore for a funeral and brought our 8 month old puppy with us. AnnMarie responded right away and said she was available to help with the puppy. She stayed with him in the hotel room while we were at the memorial dinner, fed and walked him and gave us the utmost peace of mind. I would not hesitate whatsoever to have her watch your babies. She even left us the kindest card upon our return. Truly five stars!!

Lexis was an awesome pet and house sitter. She was great with our very old (18 yrs) girl. She made sure she was taken care of, Rx administration, food consumption, and bathroom. Our girl wasn’t walking too well and she picked her up and took her everywhere (14 lbs). House was a minor perk that our girl was able to stay home while we were out of town to minimize disruptions and came home as we left it. Katrina had a wonderful bond with Roxie. Roxie looked fabulous when we got home. She took such great care of Roxie and sent me pictures along with updates on how Roxie was doing while I was away. Since Katrina stayed at the house she also kept the house in pristine condition. I would definitely use Katrina again as she’s a great sitter and very trustworthy.
