“This is our first time to work with Kayla and she has exceeded our expectations. She was on time, followed our instructions, and took such good care of our dog and cat. We are amazed that our very shy, 15-year old cat warmed up to her aftee a few hours which is unheard of. Would absolutely work with Kayla again.”

About: I provide dependable care with lots of attention, structure and communication so you never have to wonder if your fur baby is in the right hands. I work from home 5 days a week so whether your dog loves long walks, endless fetch sessions or simply some playtime and cuddles i am always available. I used to volunteer regularly at my local animal shelter and because of that I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining routines, administering basic medications and caring for pets with different energy levels and temperaments.

About: I grew up caring for cats and dogs and other small animals. Friends and family trust me to take care of their pets of all ages/ different needs when they are out of town. This includes administering meds, feeding, walking and most importantly, playing! Can’t wait to meet!🐾❤️ I'm currently freelancing part time, so I'm very flexible when it comes to aligning with your pups schedules throughout the day/ week! I’m typically available between 7-9am, again around 2pm, and in the evening after 7pm. I pay attention to detail when it comes to checking in with your pup, making sure they are eating, meds are taken at appropriate times, walks are given, playing, and making sure they are going to the bathroom and not just sniffing around! Haha

About: I offer reliable dog care, including walks, feeding, and playtime to keep them happy and healthy. My experience includes walking and caring for dogs of all sizes, from energetic pups to senior companions. I’m flexible with timing and can accommodate walks, daycare, or overnight stays based on your dog’s needs I’m currently in school and will be doing different small pet sitting gigs this summer! I would be able to come around 3 times a day. I have a dog and two cats of my own. I enjoy going on walks! I would love to care for your animals with the love that they need!
“Laura just watched our two pups in our home this past weekend. She was fantastic!!! Our dogs absolutely loved her, and it was so nice (and less stressful) for them to be able to stay in their own familiar space. It was truly a pleasure to meet Laura, and she brought such peace of mind knowing that our dogs were happy and well cared for while we were gone. I’m so glad we found Laura on Rover. I highly recommend her”

About: Having grown up with both Labs and Shepherds, I am very comfortable being around all sorts of dogs. I started dog sitting while I was in high school and loved the opportunity to get to know other breeds. I am experienced in sitting for dogs of all sizes, dog walking, and giving medication. I don’t currently have a dog of my own, so welcome any chance I get to care for others while their owners are away! I work Monday-Friday at a preschool, but have flexibility during my lunch hour if local. Mondays, I am off by 3:30, and am completely open on weekends. While caring for your pets, I will always treat them as if they were my own. Every family has their own special routine, and I find that very important to follow to ensure each and every dog feels as comfortable as they can while their owners are away.
“Garret followed the instructions for our 3 very particular cats to the letter. In fact, he bonded so well with them that they seem to prefer him to us now. He texted us photos periodically to show how well they were doing. He’s conscientious and caring, and he clearly enjoys interacting with our cats.”

“Katrina had a wonderful bond with Roxie. Roxie looked fabulous when we got home. She took such great care of Roxie and sent me pictures along with updates on how Roxie was doing while I was away. Since Katrina stayed at the house she also kept the house in pristine condition. I would definitely use Katrina again as she’s a great sitter and very trustworthy.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through both extended stays and drop-in visits. I’ve hosted an energetic, medium-sized mixed breed dog in my home for a full month, providing daily exercise, structure, and lots of attention. I’ve also cared for two Shih Tzus for a week-long stay, managing their routines, meals, and comfort needs. In addition to boarding, I’ve done house sitting and check-in visits, ensuring pets are well cared for in their own environment. I’m attentive, reliable, and focused on keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m currently a student at Santa Barbara City College, with classes Monday through Thursday. My schedule is light—usually just one or two classes a day—so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care throughout the day. I’m able to plan my routine around walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, making sure each pet gets consistent attention and care. My flexible schedule allows me to be reliable and present, whether it’s for daily visits, extended stays, or overnight care. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and a consistent feeding schedule. I make sure pets get lots of affection and stick as closely as possible to their usual routine. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar space. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and maintaining their normal schedule. I also keep the home tidy, provide updates, and make sure pets feel relaxed and well cared for while their owner is away.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. They were always large dogs like Dobermans, standard Poodles, Golden Retrievers, and Old English sheep dogs. My current dog is a smaller terrier mix. I’ve been to dog obedience school with my dog and have watched many a Lucky Dog episode. I’m looking for a way to keep active in retirement. I’m interested in walking pets to keep active in retirement. I know what it is like to try to find a trustworthy person to care for my pet and want to be there for others if I can. I have a fenced yard for my dog. But I also walk him three times a day. I consider my dog to be a member of my family and will treat you dog likewise
“Natasha took such great care of our dog, Chico, while we were away. We really appreciated all the photo updates and check-ins she sent throughout the stay, it gave us so much peace of mind knowing Chico was happy and well cared for. She was also very respectful with our home, which we truly appreciated.”

“Kenya's the best! Truman is a needy dog with a medical condition, so it was stressful for us to leave him alone during our vacation. Kenya rested our minds with frequent updates of Trumam smiling so we always knew he was in good hands. I highly recommend Kenya... very professional and communicative. Will be using he again.”
About: I’ve grown up with many different animals, including dogs, cats, snakes, and fish. I am currently living with two dogs and I adore them so much! I currently am working part-time Sunday through Thursday, and can commit to morning/afternoon check-in (before noon) as well as night time check-ins (after 5 pm). I will ensure your fur baby is well fed and taken care of! I will also make sure they have someone to play with while you’re away!
“Gloree was communicative, professional, friendly and personable. She got along great with my dogs which is no small feat because on of our dogs is aloof. She also kept our house clean. We will be using her again!”

“Michael was great about getting back to me quickly when I booked him for petsitting my two pit bulls during a recent weekend away. He was attentive to my dogs’ needs and even spent some time giving love to the cat. He sent updates/pics along the way which made me feel very secure that my pets were in good hands. Michael is professional, respects the requests of clients/needs of pets, and I would definitely hire him again!”

“Kristi was awesome with our 3m old puppy Kobe and provided constant updates about what he was up to and made sure he ate and played as needed (additionally challenging since he hasn’t completed his vaccinations so he had to be tired out indoors). Would definitely ask Kristi to watch our dog again”

Garret has sat for us before and we would absolutely use his services again! Garret took great care of our cat, dog, and home while we were traveling. Provided updates and pictures throughout his the stay. He is super easy going, great with our animals, and a trustworthy house sitter. I would recommend Garret to anyone!

Tina and Yaritza were a dynamic duo in helping take care of our little zoo at home - fish, kitties and our very spoiled dog. They are both very gentle and calm with the animals. We got pictures and updates during the weekend and came home to happy animals and a clean house. We will be booking with Tina again.

We are using Megan’s services for the fourth time, and she has taken wonderful care of our GSD puppy during two-night stays at our home. She is reliable, communicative, and clearly very comfortable handling a young, energetic puppy. We always come back to a happy, well-cared-for pup. We truly appreciate her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

We reached out to Victoria on Rover when we were struggling to find a sitter for our dog during the holidays. She replied right away and came over for the meet and greet as our vacation was coming up soon. She asked questions, and was respectful and understanding of our house rules. She did an amazing job taking care of our senior dog and kept us updated with pictures. Would definitely ask her to watch our dog again. Thanks again, Victoria!

Trevor was a wonderful sitter for our kitten and somewhat anxious dog. They took to him right away and it’s clear that he really loves and connects with animals. He took great care of them, including an emergency vet visit and dealing with medication, etc. He also left the house in great shape. We would definitely use Trevor again with no hesitation. Highly recommend.

We had Ashley housesit our two dogs overnight for two nights and were so glad we chose her. She is dependable, responsible and on time. Her rapport with the animals was obvious right from the start. She is kind and caring and we really appreciated her years of experience including vet tech knowledge. Her timely updates and pictures really gave us peace of mind. We couldn't have asked for a better fit for dog sitter!
