Hello! My name is Kayla and I’ve owned dogs and cats almost my entire life, as well as have taken care of many professionally. I worked at a "doggy daycare" previously but I realized pets thrive best with 1 on 1 attention for their behavioral development and safety. I have taken care of pets of all ages, from new born puppies to senior pets that required special medication plans. I’m excited to care for your pets as if they were my own, ensuring they feel loved and safe while you are away.

Safety, trust & environment
I know the importance of trust when it comes to letting someone else watch over your pet. I will provide as many or few check-ins as you would like. I guarantee I will do everything in my power to ensure the safety or your pet as if it were my own. I will make sure doors and gates are kept closed when your pet is off leash, never to give treats or food that is not approved by you, Keep a close look out for medical emergencies including heat stroke, paw pad burns from hot pavement, choking, etc.

Kayla was absolutely wonderful! This was the 3rd time she has pet/house sat for us, and we continue to feel so grateful to have someone we can fully trust with our home and our pets. She is responsible, caring, reliable, and attentive. One of our pets, Bugsy, is very shy and not easy to make comfortable, but Kayla was so patient and kind that Bugsy felt completely at ease with her. That meant the world to us. Because of Kayla, we were actually able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing everything at home was in excellent hands. She clearly has a natural way with animals. This is our first time to work with Kayla and she has exceeded our expectations. She was on time, followed our instructions, and took such good care of our dog and cat. We are amazed that our very shy, 15-year old cat warmed up to her aftee a few hours which is unheard of. Would absolutely work with Kayla again.
Kayla was absolutely wonderful with our dog and two cats. Our dog can be slow to warm up to new people, but Kayla managed to win her over right away. She kept us up to date with messages and photos while we were away, letting us know all was well. When we returned, the house was in perfect order and it was clear that she had cared for all the pets and given them plenty of love and attention.

Schedule
I spend a lot of the day on the computer so taking dogs out for walks helps tire us both out! I have a very open schedule so I am able to work around yours.
