About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through both extended stays and drop-in visits. I’ve hosted an energetic, medium-sized mixed breed dog in my home for a full month, providing daily exercise, structure, and lots of attention. I’ve also cared for two Shih Tzus for a week-long stay, managing their routines, meals, and comfort needs. In addition to boarding, I’ve done house sitting and check-in visits, ensuring pets are well cared for in their own environment. I’m attentive, reliable, and focused on keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m currently a student at Santa Barbara City College, with classes Monday through Thursday. My schedule is light—usually just one or two classes a day—so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care throughout the day. I’m able to plan my routine around walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, making sure each pet gets consistent attention and care. My flexible schedule allows me to be reliable and present, whether it’s for daily visits, extended stays, or overnight care. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and a consistent feeding schedule. I make sure pets get lots of affection and stick as closely as possible to their usual routine. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar space. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and maintaining their normal schedule. I also keep the home tidy, provide updates, and make sure pets feel relaxed and well cared for while their owner is away.

About: I grew up caring for cats and dogs and other small animals. Friends and family trust me to take care of their pets of all ages/ different needs when they are out of town. This includes administering meds, feeding, walking and most importantly, playing! Can’t wait to meet!🐾❤️ I'm currently freelancing part time, so I'm very flexible when it comes to aligning with your pups schedules throughout the day/ week! I’m typically available between 7-9am, again around 2pm, and in the evening after 7pm. I pay attention to detail when it comes to checking in with your pup, making sure they are eating, meds are taken at appropriate times, walks are given, playing, and making sure they are going to the bathroom and not just sniffing around! Haha

Denise’s veterinary office experience originally attracted me for that reason, then watching her gentle, caring interaction with our dogs sealed it for me. I would consider my dogs pretty high maintenance (and myself as well, as I left a ton of instructions for Denise!). Denise provided terrific service. We left our senior dogs with her for almost a week, and both dogs were very happy and calm upon our return. Denise kept in great touch with us and successfully treated one dog’s diarrhea (which can happen because our dogs take so many meds at this stage of their lives). Although I had no expectation at all that Denise should clean our home (our dogs were the key focus), our home was just the way we left it upon our return. Denise provided wonderful, top-notch service for us and care for our dogs - and we definitely are not an easy household! I can happily recommend Denise.”

About: My pet care experience began when I found a dog at a shelter on my thirteenth birthday, and raised and loved him for another 13 years. He was a corgi mix, happy and loved. I like to spread that love around. I have taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family, and would like to do so for others. About: Many clients have said they send their furry babies to us for a well-deserved vacation while they enjoy one themselves! My husband, Sebastien, and I moved to Fair Oaks, CA in the summer of 2022. While we missed all our human and furry friends in the Bay Area, we are very excited to meet new ones. We LOVE all pets; however, at the moment, we don’t have any of our own. We only board one pet at a time, ensuring they receive 100% of our love and attention. We may consider boarding two dogs at the same time if they are from the same family, love each other, and each weighs under 60 lbs. Having worked with many different breeds, we are comfortable with boarding, walking, feeding, administering medicine, playing with, caring for, and cleaning up after them. We are both active community members and have volunteered at various places, including Lytton Gardens (senior living), the Nine Lives Foundation (cat shelter), Chung Tai Zen Center, Garden to Table, teaching in Romania, Silicon Valley Volunteers, food banks, the Fair Oaks Chicken Festival, and the Sacramento County Holiday Toy Drive, among others. We both work from home now, so we are more available than ever to provide the best care for your dogs. Please note the important information below: 1, We only board one pet at a time, ensuring they receive 100% of our love and care—guaranteed! 2, We follow owners’ guidelines 100% to ensure pets don’t go home with new habits or need to be retrained. 3, We never give them human food or dog treats unless specified by the owners or provided by them. If they are allowed to have a piece of apple or carrot, please feel free to let us know, and we will be happy to share while the dogs watch us cook. 4, We ensure that all dogs receive the same amount of exercise, or more, while with us. For active and energetic dogs, we provide at least two walks per day and visit parks and river beaches on weekends. For smaller, more home-loving dogs, we enjoy cuddling and playing with them whenever they want. 5, We live in a four-bedroom single-family house with a fully fenced backyard (with a tall fence). Dogs are always welcome to use the yard for their business and playtime, and they are never left unattended in the yard. There are no kids, no roommates, and no other pets in the house. 6, We don’t allow dogs in our care to interact with other dogs. We always cross the street when encountering another dog on walks, as we can’t predict their chemistry or how the other dogs will behave. 7, We avoid dog parks due to potential unknown risks. 8, If your dog has separation anxiety, we are happy to accommodate by never leaving them home alone. However, it would be very helpful to discuss this during our meeting or via message so we can avoid making social engagements or reschedule in advance. We typically only leave them for two hours, or a maximum of four hours. Please bring food, snacks, treats, and any medications. It would be very helpful if feeding instructions and medication dosages are included in their profile or written on a piece of paper. We have a dog bed in each room (with a cover washed after each stay), so if you forget or your pup isn’t picky, we’re covered on that. We also have water and food bowls in various sizes, which are washed after each meal, and water bowls are cleaned daily😄 We look forward to meeting you all! More notes: If you have specific requests regarding the number of updates, pictures, and videos you would like to receive each day, please let us know in advance, and we’ll gladly accommodate. Otherwise, you can expect at least two updates every 24 hours. We believe keeping you informed is essential for peace of mind! We both have full-time jobs in tech (engineering and finance) and work from home. Caring for furry babies is our passion We welcome feedback and would appreciate a review afterward. However, there’s no issue if you don’t get around to it—we won’t ask for one.😸🐶🐻‍❄️🐷 We both work from home so we can accommodate to each dog’s schedule. Normally one of us walk them 20-40 minutes in the morning (unless told not to due to age/injury), and provide potty breaks at least 3 - 4 times during the day. Some sort of mental stimulation in the afternoon, and one more longer walk or fetching/playing in the afternoon/evening. Timing will be dependable on temperature. Last potty break is between 10 to 11pm before bed. Playtime is available throughout the day. Dogs are always secured with a dog seatbelt in the backseat of our Outback when we take them out. We have a tall fenced yard, and we do not allow dogs to be in the yard unattended. We eat twice a day without snacking in between, so there’s no human food or snacks left around the house. We do the dishes immediately after we eat.

About: I love teaching dogs new tricks, especially puppies. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and ages. I also love a good coffee run so pup cup anyone? I am currently a college student as well as a part time teacher. Watching after your dogs fits perfectly into my evening and weekend routines. I am a clean freak, so all messes will always be clean before you come home. I also ensure communication with all pet parents on the well being of their fur baby.

About: I’ve taken care of my cat for 5 years, volunteered 1 year at the Valley Humane Society for cat-care, and have taken care of my sisters, and friends dogs here-and-there. My cat is trained and knows how to sit, stand, twirl, lie down, jump, and give a paw. If I can train a cat, I can deal with your dog. My dog care experience is limited, but, this means I will just be even more cautious and will research the in’s and out’s of dog care like a detective in order to make sure I will get everything right. If you have any specific instructions, I will gladly listen and follow them to a tee. I am great at looking through the eyes of the pet, and adapting my behavior to specific personalities and temperaments. I am great with kids and am creative in the ways I play. My household has 3 adults, 1 senior, and 1 black cat. They will not assist with caretaking but may lightly interact with the pet. The house includes a backyard with a pool and tree-house. Tons of cat toys, cat tree, and a cat-proofed home. 1 huge window to the backyard, and 1 huge window to the front yard (the 2 cat-TV’s 📺), which is perfect for cats to watch the squirrels and birds frolick and the rain and leaves fall. My house is close to the Arroyo River trail, which is a perfect place for dog-walking. Your pet will be cared for, engaged, filled up with safe food, and all-set for a good nights sleep. I go to community college 15 minutes away from my house; and so will be home often. I will have time to take care of your pet after college hours. My home, cat: Your cat will first be placed into my room, and slowly introduced with my cat by scent. If it is clear that the cats are friendly with each other, I may introduce Abraham into the room if it is okay with the owner.* The cat will stay in this room for the night.* I will give the cats necessary space, avoid eye contact until they are comfortable, and will not pet unless they clearly are enjoying it. In the room, the cats will have its own bed, cat tree, litter box, tons of toys and safe spaces where it can retreat to. This room is cat-proofed (wires are hidden or wrapped with hard plastic; no places where it can escape, etc.) Your cat will be 100% safe with me, and will have a lot of fun! Your home, cat: I will interact with your cat in the same respectful way as above ^. I will obey the rules of your home and make sure that I know where the cat is. I am great at engaging even the most bored cats with play, and know how to make it exciting for them. My home, dog: Only small dogs and no overnight. I have a small cat at home, and a large dog will likely scare him. At my house, your dog will enjoy the company of 3 adults and will get to explore a backyard with a pool + tree house. The backyard is fenced, but has much shorter fences on the left-side aisle, and a tree that can be used to escape— so the pup will be leashed at all times or put in a crate (if you have a crate to provide, that would be great!) My house is very close to the Arroyo River trail, which is the perfect place for a dog walk. I will play with your pup like they are my own child! I am creative with the ways I play and try to show them new things. Your dog will be engaged with, fed safe food, supervised and set for a great nights sleep. Your home, dog: I will research the needs of your specific dog breed and comply as precisely as possible. I’ll obey the rules of your home and make sure your dog is entertained, fed, and happy at the end of the day.
