About: Many clients have said they send their furry babies to us for a well-deserved vacation while they enjoy one themselves! My husband, Sebastien, and I moved to Fair Oaks, CA in the summer of 2022. While we missed all our human and furry friends in the Bay Area, we are very excited to meet new ones. We LOVE all pets; however, at the moment, we don’t have any of our own. We only board one pet at a time, ensuring they receive 100% of our love and attention. We may consider boarding two dogs at the same time if they are from the same family, love each other, and each weighs under 60 lbs. Having worked with many different breeds, we are comfortable with boarding, walking, feeding, administering medicine, playing with, caring for, and cleaning up after them. We are both active community members and have volunteered at various places, including Lytton Gardens (senior living), the Nine Lives Foundation (cat shelter), Chung Tai Zen Center, Garden to Table, teaching in Romania, Silicon Valley Volunteers, food banks, the Fair Oaks Chicken Festival, and the Sacramento County Holiday Toy Drive, among others. We both work from home now, so we are more available than ever to provide the best care for your dogs. Please note the important information below: 1, We only board one pet at a time, ensuring they receive 100% of our love and care—guaranteed! 2, We follow owners’ guidelines 100% to ensure pets don’t go home with new habits or need to be retrained. 3, We never give them human food or dog treats unless specified by the owners or provided by them. If they are allowed to have a piece of apple or carrot, please feel free to let us know, and we will be happy to share while the dogs watch us cook. 4, We ensure that all dogs receive the same amount of exercise, or more, while with us. For active and energetic dogs, we provide at least two walks per day and visit parks and river beaches on weekends. For smaller, more home-loving dogs, we enjoy cuddling and playing with them whenever they want. 5, We live in a four-bedroom single-family house with a fully fenced backyard (with a tall fence). Dogs are always welcome to use the yard for their business and playtime, and they are never left unattended in the yard. There are no kids, no roommates, and no other pets in the house. 6, We don’t allow dogs in our care to interact with other dogs. We always cross the street when encountering another dog on walks, as we can’t predict their chemistry or how the other dogs will behave. 7, We avoid dog parks due to potential unknown risks. 8, If your dog has separation anxiety, we are happy to accommodate by never leaving them home alone. However, it would be very helpful to discuss this during our meeting or via message so we can avoid making social engagements or reschedule in advance. We typically only leave them for two hours, or a maximum of four hours. Please bring food, snacks, treats, and any medications. It would be very helpful if feeding instructions and medication dosages are included in their profile or written on a piece of paper. We have a dog bed in each room (with a cover washed after each stay), so if you forget or your pup isn’t picky, we’re covered on that. We also have water and food bowls in various sizes, which are washed after each meal, and water bowls are cleaned daily😄 We look forward to meeting you all! More notes: If you have specific requests regarding the number of updates, pictures, and videos you would like to receive each day, please let us know in advance, and we’ll gladly accommodate. Otherwise, you can expect at least two updates every 24 hours. We believe keeping you informed is essential for peace of mind! We both have full-time jobs in tech (engineering and finance) and work from home. Caring for furry babies is our passion We welcome feedback and would appreciate a review afterward. However, there’s no issue if you don’t get around to it—we won’t ask for one.😸🐶🐻‍❄️🐷 We both work from home so we can accommodate to each dog’s schedule. Normally one of us walk them 20-40 minutes in the morning (unless told not to due to age/injury), and provide potty breaks at least 3 - 4 times during the day. Some sort of mental stimulation in the afternoon, and one more longer walk or fetching/playing in the afternoon/evening. Timing will be dependable on temperature. Last potty break is between 10 to 11pm before bed. Playtime is available throughout the day. Dogs are always secured with a dog seatbelt in the backseat of our Outback when we take them out. We have a tall fenced yard, and we do not allow dogs to be in the yard unattended. We eat twice a day without snacking in between, so there’s no human food or snacks left around the house. We do the dishes immediately after we eat.

About: I grew up with big active dogs so I understand their needs and habits including affection, energy, and naughty tricks. I volunteer at an animal shelter so am well versed in a variety of dog breeds and dogs with unique histories. Because I am a grad student, I have the flexibility to be at home with your pet while I study. I have acted as a cat sitter as well and have come to love them too! I do not have experience with new kittens so adult cats preferred please. This summer I am fully at your disposal. I am on summer break between grad school programs. You can expect full time attention to your pets. Will update come fall. Your guidelines are my rules! I am happy to crate your pets, let them roam free, or have them sleep in the bed with me (more common request than you’d think) LOL. If you are local, I am happy to let your pup have some outside off leash time in my own fenced in yard, but I do not board dogs in my own home as I live with family while in grad school. I am happy to stay at your home or if you are local, just swing by for hangouts, walks, and bathroom breaks. If you are outside of Pleasanton, overnight stays at the dog’s home are preferred due to travel time. I am also capable of administering dog medications including pills and oral liquids, just leave me instructions!

About: I’ve taken care of my cat for 5 years, volunteered 1 year at the Valley Humane Society for cat-care, and have taken care of my sisters, and friends dogs here-and-there. My cat is trained and knows how to sit, stand, twirl, lie down, jump, and give a paw. If I can train a cat, I can deal with your dog. My dog care experience is limited, but, this means I will just be even more cautious and will research the in’s and out’s of dog care like a detective in order to make sure I will get everything right. If you have any specific instructions, I will gladly listen and follow them to a tee. I am great at looking through the eyes of the pet, and adapting my behavior to specific personalities and temperaments. I am great with kids and am creative in the ways I play. My household has 3 adults, 1 senior, and 1 black cat. They will not assist with caretaking but may lightly interact with the pet. The house includes a backyard with a pool and tree-house. Tons of cat toys, cat tree, and a cat-proofed home. 1 huge window to the backyard, and 1 huge window to the front yard (the 2 cat-TV’s 📺), which is perfect for cats to watch the squirrels and birds frolick and the rain and leaves fall. My house is close to the Arroyo River trail, which is a perfect place for dog-walking. Your pet will be cared for, engaged, filled up with safe food, and all-set for a good nights sleep. I go to community college 15 minutes away from my house; and so will be home often. I will have time to take care of your pet after college hours. My home, cat: Your cat will first be placed into my room, and slowly introduced with my cat by scent. If it is clear that the cats are friendly with each other, I may introduce Abraham into the room if it is okay with the owner.* The cat will stay in this room for the night.* I will give the cats necessary space, avoid eye contact until they are comfortable, and will not pet unless they clearly are enjoying it. In the room, the cats will have its own bed, cat tree, litter box, tons of toys and safe spaces where it can retreat to. This room is cat-proofed (wires are hidden or wrapped with hard plastic; no places where it can escape, etc.) Your cat will be 100% safe with me, and will have a lot of fun! Your home, cat: I will interact with your cat in the same respectful way as above ^. I will obey the rules of your home and make sure that I know where the cat is. I am great at engaging even the most bored cats with play, and know how to make it exciting for them. My home, dog: Only small dogs and no overnight. I have a small cat at home, and a large dog will likely scare him. At my house, your dog will enjoy the company of 3 adults and will get to explore a backyard with a pool + tree house. The backyard is fenced, but has much shorter fences on the left-side aisle, and a tree that can be used to escape— so the pup will be leashed at all times or put in a crate (if you have a crate to provide, that would be great!) My house is very close to the Arroyo River trail, which is the perfect place for a dog walk. I will play with your pup like they are my own child! I am creative with the ways I play and try to show them new things. Your dog will be engaged with, fed safe food, supervised and set for a great nights sleep. Your home, dog: I will research the needs of your specific dog breed and comply as precisely as possible. I’ll obey the rules of your home and make sure your dog is entertained, fed, and happy at the end of the day.

About: We (Jerry and Joy) have been known for taking care of our friends’ dogs as if they are our own. From few hours to 5 weeks, dogs of different sizes have been under our care which had led to many of our friends recommending us to start Rover. Jerry is a runner and recreational tennis player, he feels confident providing the best physical care for the puppies — going out on runs and doing indoor tugging activities. Joy likes staying at home more, and she will always be looking out to see if the puppies are comfortable and pouring them with love. Also, be prepared to get showered with tons of pics and stories of how your puppies spent their time during their stay, we will send you as many as we can take! Our dog-friendly place in a very cozy community in Livermore will be a safe, quiet heaven for your puppies — with a spacious park nearby, including a fenced dog park, where puppies can enjoy running while on/off leash (I prefer not doing off-leash when outside unless it's fenced yard or dog park). As a dedicated dog lover with a full-time job (weekdays, 6 am to 4 PM but can come home for lunch around 11 am), I’ve structured my schedule to ensure your furry friend gets the best care possible. Also, Joy would spend her most of time at home with your puppy. Here’s what you can expect: - Reliable Availability: We plan potty breaks at least three times a day—typically around 7-8 AM, 12 PM-2 PM, and 10-11 PM—so your pup’s needs are always met. - Plenty of Companionship: Your dog will have company for most of the day, with alone time never exceeding 8 hours. - Daily Exercise: We take multiple short walks every day, giving your pup fresh air and a chance to stretch their legs. - Flexible Coordination: We are happy to work with you to ensure your dog’s care schedule fits seamlessly with mine. - Personalized Attention: Every pup in our care receives love, attention, and care tailored to their specific needs. Rest assured, your four-legged family member will be in loving and responsible hands while you’re away! We live in a dog-friendly condo in a safe and welcoming residential area of Livermore. Our home is located right next to a fully fenced dog park, where your pup can safely sniff, run around, and socialize with other friendly dogs. This ensures they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation during their stay. For added peace of mind, we have a reliable car and am prepared to transport your pet to the nearest veterinary urgent care if needed. Our 3-story code is clean, secure, and designed with pets in mind, offering a comfortable environment where your furry friend will feel right at home. Whether it’s playtime at the park or cozy downtime indoors, your dog will be cared for in a safe, enriching environment that prioritizes their happiness and well-being.

I currently am working part-time Sunday through Thursday, and can commit to morning/afternoon check-in (before noon) as well as night time check-ins (after 5 pm).
