She’ll race up the driveway, which leads to several homes, but she always knows exactly which one is theirs. Once she’s at the door, she eagerly waits for it to be opened and greets them with kisses and a wagging tail. It’s clear how much she loves being there, and that makes us feel completely at ease. They do a fantastic job keeping her entertained, comfortable, and on her regular schedule. About: I’ve had my black cat, Abraham, for 5 years and cared for him since he was about 4 months. This cat is quite shy, but he comes out of his shell for me. I used to volunteer at the Valley Humane Society for cat-care. I socialized with many cats and learned the standards. I am very observant and am able to successfully adapt my behavior to the temperament of the cat. I know a lot about cat body-language and try to perceive the interaction from their unique cat perspective in order to befriend. Abraham, my cat, could really use a friend! He is a bit of a scaredy-cat but non-aggressive (preferring to run away), neutered— by caring for other feline friends, I hope to show him that other cats are friends, and not to be feared :)

About: I am not yet ready to have another pet of my own, so I get great comfort from sharing my love and affection with those families that need it. I have had dogs, cats, a rabbit and a horse throughout my childhood years. My love bug, a 140lb Rottweiler, was the best partner a young woman could have. It was very hard saying goodbye to him. About: We (Jerry and Joy) have been known for taking care of our friends’ dogs as if they are our own. From few hours to 5 weeks, dogs of different sizes have been under our care which had led to many of our friends recommending us to start Rover. Also, Joy would spend her most of time at home with your puppy. I’m on the UCSC track and cross country team which means I’m pretty active, so if your pet loves long walks or runs, I’m all about it!! I’ll be available in Livermore this Summer from June 28-August 2nd **Boarding & Day Care: I have 2 cats at home so only cat-friendly dogs please! I’ll be available in Santa Cruz starting August 17th! I’m a college student, so during the school year (August-June), outside of going to class, I’m home most of the time! DAY CARE: 7 days a week (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) Both with 24-hour access to large backyard and personal front yard fire hydrant. 24-hour backyard access to healthy green lawn, sun, shade, birds, squirrels galore and a personal front yard fire hydrant for doggie neighborhood text line. Doggie door for most pups (<50 lbs.) and around the clock door service for larger pups. Allowed on furniture and bed access with parent permission. David speaks 'dog' fluently and loves to play with them. We look forward to a Meet up so we can start on the right paw and develop win-win relations.

I dropped sparky off in the morning and Picked him up in the evening and Reeti was annle to accommodate my early morning drop off time. I was worried because Sparky is wary about people outside the family and he became comfortable from the first day he stayed and it was great! Reeti sent photos that eased my mind and took sparky on walks and he now loves Reeti, her husband and children! I booked additional drop off and pick ups with her and now Sparky runs into their house without even looking back at me! He is so happy to be dropped off that I am beyond thankful and grateful for Reeti’s family for taking care of Sparky!”

About: Home full time! Currently no pets, but I’ve had little dogs, big dogs, and cats in my family since I was a kid! Super reliable and friendly. I work remotely. Makes it extremely easy to care for any fur babies! I put in the same time and effort I would put in with my own animals. For walking, pet sitting, and/or drop in visits, I am capable of executing your needs to the fullest! Any specific instructions are greatly appreciated. About: I’ve owned and been around animals my whole life. I’ve had dogs, cats, horses, cattle and others throughout my years and love meeting more! I would love to bring your furry friends some piece of mind while you’re away whether that be a play date in your home or a walk around the neighborhood I do work full time so I’m available for morning and evening adventures! Whatever your routine may be I’m sure we can make it work so your pet is comfy I unfortunately do not provide overnight services at this time. My home, cat: Your cat will first be placed into my room, and slowly introduced with my cat by scent. If it is clear that the cats are friendly with each other, I may introduce Abraham into the room if it is okay with the owner.* The cat will stay in this room for the night.* I will give the cats necessary space, avoid eye contact until they are comfortable, and will not pet unless they clearly are enjoying it. In the room, the cats will have its own bed, cat tree, litter box, tons of toys and safe spaces where it can retreat to. This room is cat-proofed (wires are hidden or wrapped with hard plastic; no places where it can escape, etc.) Your cat will be 100% safe with me, and will have a lot of fun! I am great at engaging even the most bored cats with play, and know how to make it exciting for them. My home, dog: Only small dogs and no overnight. I have a small cat at home, and a large dog will likely scare him. At my house, your dog will enjoy the company of 3 adults and will get to explore a backyard with a pool + tree house. The backyard is fenced, but has much shorter fences on the left-side aisle, and a tree that can be used to escape— so the pup will be leashed at all times or put in a crate (if you have a crate to provide, that would be great!) About: Cats are lovely and each have their own character, although they can be distant at first they end up allowing me to obey their commands. I work from home, so your pup will never be alone. They will enjoy daily walks around the lake in our friendly neighborhood. Always feed only what’s on their normal diet. I follow instructions to what is recommended for each pet, as I know many may have different needs. No extra treats or foods since some pets have allergies.
