About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through both extended stays and drop-in visits. I’ve hosted an energetic, medium-sized mixed breed dog in my home for a full month, providing daily exercise, structure, and lots of attention. I’ve also cared for two Shih Tzus for a week-long stay, managing their routines, meals, and comfort needs. In addition to boarding, I’ve done house sitting and check-in visits, ensuring pets are well cared for in their own environment. I’m attentive, reliable, and focused on keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m currently a student at Santa Barbara City College, with classes Monday through Thursday. My schedule is light—usually just one or two classes a day—so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care throughout the day. I’m able to plan my routine around walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, making sure each pet gets consistent attention and care. My flexible schedule allows me to be reliable and present, whether it’s for daily visits, extended stays, or overnight care. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and a consistent feeding schedule. I make sure pets get lots of affection and stick as closely as possible to their usual routine. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar space. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and maintaining their normal schedule. I also keep the home tidy, provide updates, and make sure pets feel relaxed and well cared for while their owner is away.

About: Home full time! Currently no pets, but I’ve had little dogs, big dogs, and cats in my family since I was a kid! Super reliable and friendly. I work remotely. Makes it extremely easy to care for any fur babies! I put in the same time and effort I would put in with my own animals. About: We have a large home with a very safe fenced backyard. Lot’s of grass to play & run. We are recently retired & your dog will be loved like our own. Our 2 Papillon's Bella & Mia passed away @ 14 & 15 years old. We have decided to love our Rover dogs & not get another dog of our own for now. Cuddling on the couch for some cozy time is enjoyed by all. Your dog will never be left alone. With two of us there is always someone home. We have become small dog specialists & only care for the smaller ones. Senior care is no problem. We have a lot of experience with older dogs of our own & Rover parents trusting us with their care. We have a soft spot in our hearts for dogs & treat them like family. We look forward to giving you updates through pictures and texts while you’re away. Our time is devoted to making your dogs stay the best experience possible. We love cuddles or if they are independent, that’s ok too! Toy time is always fun. Walks along the lovely trail near our home are included, if you choose? Frequent potty breaks are offered all day. Relax knowing how secure our backyard is. There are trees for shade & many places for sun as well. We have hardwood flooring & several dog beds for comfort.

About: I’ve taken care of my cat for 5 years, volunteered 1 year at the Valley Humane Society for cat-care, and have taken care of my sisters, and friends dogs here-and-there. My cat is trained and knows how to sit, stand, twirl, lie down, jump, and give a paw. If I can train a cat, I can deal with your dog. My dog care experience is limited, but, this means I will just be even more cautious and will research the in’s and out’s of dog care like a detective in order to make sure I will get everything right. If you have any specific instructions, I will gladly listen and follow them to a tee. I am great at looking through the eyes of the pet, and adapting my behavior to specific personalities and temperaments. I am great with kids and am creative in the ways I play. My household has 3 adults, 1 senior, and 1 black cat. They will not assist with caretaking but may lightly interact with the pet. The house includes a backyard with a pool and tree-house. Tons of cat toys, cat tree, and a cat-proofed home. 1 huge window to the backyard, and 1 huge window to the front yard (the 2 cat-TV’s 📺), which is perfect for cats to watch the squirrels and birds frolick and the rain and leaves fall. My house is close to the Arroyo River trail, which is a perfect place for dog-walking. Your pet will be cared for, engaged, filled up with safe food, and all-set for a good nights sleep. I go to community college 15 minutes away from my house; and so will be home often. I will have time to take care of your pet after college hours. My home, cat: Your cat will first be placed into my room, and slowly introduced with my cat by scent. If it is clear that the cats are friendly with each other, I may introduce Abraham into the room if it is okay with the owner.* The cat will stay in this room for the night.* I will give the cats necessary space, avoid eye contact until they are comfortable, and will not pet unless they clearly are enjoying it. In the room, the cats will have its own bed, cat tree, litter box, tons of toys and safe spaces where it can retreat to. This room is cat-proofed (wires are hidden or wrapped with hard plastic; no places where it can escape, etc.) Your cat will be 100% safe with me, and will have a lot of fun! Your home, cat: I will interact with your cat in the same respectful way as above ^. I will obey the rules of your home and make sure that I know where the cat is. I am great at engaging even the most bored cats with play, and know how to make it exciting for them. My home, dog: Only small dogs and no overnight. I have a small cat at home, and a large dog will likely scare him. At my house, your dog will enjoy the company of 3 adults and will get to explore a backyard with a pool + tree house. The backyard is fenced, but has much shorter fences on the left-side aisle, and a tree that can be used to escape— so the pup will be leashed at all times or put in a crate (if you have a crate to provide, that would be great!) My house is very close to the Arroyo River trail, which is the perfect place for a dog walk. I will play with your pup like they are my own child! I am creative with the ways I play and try to show them new things. Your dog will be engaged with, fed safe food, supervised and set for a great nights sleep. Your home, dog: I will research the needs of your specific dog breed and comply as precisely as possible. I’ll obey the rules of your home and make sure your dog is entertained, fed, and happy at the end of the day.

Dog Training Camp, the AVBM Veterinary Behavior Master Course, and 33 classes on senior pet care. I’m patient, calm, and experienced with shy pets, basic training, and positive reinforcement. I’m currently changing my career path, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets. I’m available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after 3pm, and on all other days after 11am for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and boarding. When caring for them in your home, I follow all instructions closely and keep pets comfortable. I can administer medication, monitor health, and ensure they feel secure. About: We do our very best for your pups! We provide pick up and drop off to help with the convenience for you and your pup. I usually prefer to come and do a meet and greet beforehand, so you and the pup can get to know me. I love to see your pup in their natural habitat, so I know what to expect. A little bit about our place, we are completely off grid with solar and a wind turbine for power! We give our pups well water. The water is very high in natural minerals and has Magnesium, which helps keep us and our pups very mellow/calm during their stay. We are up 4000ft in elevation and up here we get SNOW in the winter, which makes for great pics. We have been working with dogs for 10+ years. We accommodate all different types of pups from Tea-cups to Malamutes. (2-100+lbs) we’ve done it all. We try very hard to accommodate you and are willing to go the extra mile to make everything go smoothly. We do ask you give us their food for them. It’s very important to us that your dog remains safe and secure at all times. The more information you can tell us about your pup the better! We do have AirTags/Drones and other toys if they have issues with trying to escape. Your pup will get an experience up here that they can’t get anywhere else. We treat them like family, because to us they are! They will see all different types of animals from birds to tons of squirrels, rabbits and’s quails. They might even get to see cattle/horses at the bottom of the hill. They will never be able to interact with any of them. We send pictures/videos normally everyday. We do send updates everyday!!! Please, feel free to txt or call me anytime if you have any questions. We hope to see you and your pup very soon!!!😊🍀🙏🐾 We are up and about at 6-7am. Everyone heads out for the bathroom and stretch. I get my coffee and start preparing food. Everyone gets fed separately or in their kennels. Then, around 8am we go on our first hike. Usually between 30/60 min. Then after their first hike they get to either come inside the main house or hang out in the play area. Around noon we play some games, work on training techniques, or play mind games where they work on their smell or obedience. Depending on the weather we go for another pack walk. Time again varies between 4-7pm. Then DINNER TIME!!! That usually also consists of me firing up the BBQ and give them a little bit of what we’re eating. After dinner we give them a few hours to digestion and poop and pee and then everyone gets their nice warm blanket for bed around 9pm. We do vary in our days if it’s hot I pull out the pool and fill it up. If it’s cold and snowing we pull out the heaters and snuggle on our bed and watch a movie. To be honest I have the best job ever! All of the dogs I’ve ever met have a personality of their own. They usually take after their owner lol. I’m constantly surrounded by my dogs, stimulating them with something, music or movies, podcasts. When your dog comes up here we treat them just like they were our own.
