Doggy Day Care in Mendenhall Springs

About: We have had dogs all our lives for 50+ years now. David grew up on a ranch, participated in 4-H caring for all kinds of animals and grew up with Golden Retrievers and horses (largest kind of dogs). Monisa grew up with, and dog sat Huskies. We have always been the dog sitter go to for family and friends and have cared for many furry friends over the past 40 years. We love being with dogs, treat them like family, give them lots of play time, affection, attention and care. We are empty nesters (daughter is going to college and home sometimes). Monisa is home nearly all day on weekdays, while David works full time at LLNL and is home nights and weekends. David is a dog whisperer and Monisa indulges by giving light touch doggie joint, back and head massages. We are currently in between dogs (Pomeranian) so your pup will receive extra attention and individualized companionship. BOARDING: 7 days a week. DAY CARE: 7 days a week (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) Both with 24-hour access to large backyard and personal front yard fire hydrant. 24-hour backyard access to healthy green lawn, sun, shade, birds, squirrels galore and a personal front yard fire hydrant for doggie neighborhood text line. Doggie door for smaller pups (<10 lbs.) and around the clock door service for larger pups. Allowed on furniture and bed access with parent permission. We have some experience with separation anxiety and David speaks 'dog' fluently. We look forward to a Trial day or Meet up so we can start on the right paw and develop win-win relations.

I was worried because Sparky is wary about people outside the family and he became comfortable from the first day he stayed and it was great! Reeti sent photos that eased my mind and took sparky on walks and he now loves Reeti, her husband and children! I booked additional drop off and pick ups with her and now Sparky runs into their house without even looking back at me! He is so happy to be dropped off that I am beyond thankful and grateful for Reeti’s family for taking care of Sparky!”

I share my home with my sweet two-year-old mini dachshund, who is full of love and would be so happy to have some furry company. As an empty nester currently at home, my daily routine centers around caring for my own dog, which means I’m home, attentive, and able to give plenty of time, supervision, and care to visiting pets as well. A typical day in our home is calm, cozy, and centered around your pet’s comfort. My little mini dachshund is a bit of a late sleeper, so mornings start gently. When she wakes up, we head outside to our fully fenced yard where she can sunbathe, explore, and take care of business. I’m always present with her outside to make sure she’s safe and comfortable, especially since she’s small. After some fresh air, we come back inside for a relaxed morning. She enjoys her home-cooked meals and then usually settles by the window—one of her favorite spots—to watch the world go by or take a nap. Our home has lots of windows, each with a cozy spot for her to sit, so she loves moving from room to room depending on where she wants to look outside. The day flows naturally with plenty of rest, quiet time, and attention. We typically don’t go on long walks since we have over an acre of fully fenced space, which provides plenty of room for exercise, play, and exploration—especially for a small dog. Occasionally, I may take her out for a fun outing, but most of her activity and enrichment happens right here at home in a safe, open environment. Throughout the day, your pet will have the freedom to go outside as needed, always supervised, and will receive lots of love and companionship. In the evenings, we continue the same relaxed routine with more outdoor time, dinner, and winding down for the night. Because I’m home and have a flexible schedule, I can easily adjust to your pet’s needs—whether that means sticking to a specific feeding routine, extra potty breaks, or just more cuddle time. My goal is to create a peaceful, loving environment where your pet feels safe, happy, and truly at home. My little one would also love the company!

I have a fenced in patio and a nice big yard in the front that I can walk your dog on a leash for potty breaks. I also live across the street from a very nice large park where I am happy to take the dog for some playtime.

Mako interacts with other dogs at his home which is great for him! Sumeet makes sure he sends pics and videos to us, especially when Mako stays for over 6 hours. I think he’s a great sitter and does amazing overall! Highly recommend him to who needs a sitter, even for daycare!”

About: I grew up in a home with my parents being dog breeders, behavioral coaching, and dog showmanship. I later went on to rescue and foster cats and animals. Over the years I’ve been animals-sat for families ranging from dogs, cats, chickens, and fish. I’m looking forward to meeting your fur baby and creating a comfortable stress free environment while you’re away. I currently work part-time and it’s primarily remote with the occasional work event. Events typically run on the weekends for 4-5 hours. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I’m out of the house from 2-5pm. I’m an early riser and late sleeper with no issues on working around your animals schedule. I have 2 parks within walking distance and a back open berm behind my home. My backyard is fully fenced in and very spacious. I have the ability to crate your dog and allocate a feed and water area. I live on a quiet street and I have no worries with walking your animal multiple times a day or working around a specific feeding schedule.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for over 10 years — as a pet owner, and at one point as a foster to a rescue dog. That experience taught me a lot about patience, reading a dog’s body language, and helping an animal feel safe in an unfamiliar environment. It’s shaped the way I approach every dog that comes through my door. I want to ensure your dog has the quality time they deserve and I only take on one family’s dogs for boarding at a time. This is to ensure I can properly give your dog(s) proper attention and personal time. Every new dog gets their own space to decompress first. My home has separate gated areas where they can take in the new sights, sounds, and smells before meeting my dogs. Introductions happen slowly and on their terms — some dogs are ready in an hour, others need a day, and either way is perfectly fine. By the time they join my dogs, it feels natural. Working from home part of the week means your dog gets real, consistent company and attention throughout the day. We go on daily walks, there’s plenty of couch time, and the little things — a change in appetite, a dog who just needs some quiet — never go unnoticed. You’ll get regular photo updates and check-ins throughout the stay, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. I have cameras throughout nearly every room and dogs will be separated/crated if needed when I need to step out, so your dogs will never be left unsupervised. If this sounds like a good fit, reach out! A meet and greet is always the first step to make sure everyone’s comfortable and compatible. I am work from home most days of the week. I can accommodate my work schedule to ensure that I can be home the whole time during your dog’s stay. I have a fenced backyard with a separate potty area. I take my dogs on walks every day as well. Dogs are allowed on furniture and I have separate gated areas so that dogs can acclimate in their own space before joining my dogs.

About: I have always been around dogs since childhood, I used to take care of neighbour's , friends dog by taking them for a walk , feeding and playing with them . Being a newly graduate, I have plenty of time for caring your fur babies, playing and taking them for walks . Me and my husband love to have dogs around us all the time I live in an apartment and have 1 year old maltipoo , he is so friendly and loves playing with other dogs . We have a secured space to play around for the fur babies .

“Thank you Susan, Miguel, and family. They were incredible and going above and beyond. We had a meet and greet the day before - mostly to chat about Maya and her tendencies. Susan is very experienced with dogs and knows how to adjust with each dog. I honestly thought Maya not eating while at a Rover’s was unusual behavior but she has observed that behavior with other dogs and has ideas on how to get her to eat. Susan came to the car to help carry items and she and Miguel helped us to the car bc it was dark outside. They are very considerate and genuine people. I liked there’s a pen to prevent Maya from running out the front door. They are experienced Rovers and really have considered everything. I also loved all the photos. They are studio quality. Susan is also very responsive. We’ll definitely book with Susan and Miguel again.”
