About: I’ve been taking care of dogs (and a few cats!) for about 10 years now. I always treat the pets I watch as if they were my own! I’ve run track and cross country practically my whole life so I’m pretty active, and if your pet loves long walks or runs, I’m all about it!! I’ll be back in Livermore this Winter from December 12th - January 3rd **Boarding & Day Care: I have 2 cats at home so cat-friendly dogs only please! I’ll be in Santa Cruz from August 19th-December 6th, & January 6th - June 5th I’m a college student, so during the school year (August-June), outside of going to class, I’m home most of the time! That means I have plenty of time to give your pet lots of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I also have 2 young cats who I absolutely adore, so I’d love to look after your cats as well ☺️ When I visit your pet in your home, I ensure all instructions are followed, everything is all cleaned up, and your pet is happy & loved!

I also founded a nonprofit dog rescue to help street dogs in India, so providing safe, loving care isn't just something I do, it's a big part of my life. I'm especially experienced with shy, fearful dogs and dogs with medical needs, so I understand the importance of patience, routine, and paying attention to the little things that help a dog feel secure. I welcome dog-friendly adult dogs into my home, where they'll be treated like family. I mostly work from home with occasional outings of about 3 to 4 hours when necessary. My goal is for every dog to have their own little vacation while you're away, with plenty of love, enrichment, and personalized care, so you can relax knowing they're happy, safe, and well cared for. easily adapt to each dog's routine and individual needs. A typical day includes a walk first thing in the morning, another around lunchtime, one in the evening, and a final walk before bedtime. Dogs are fed twice a day (or according to their normal schedule), with lots of playtime, enrichment, cuddles, and potty breaks throughout the day. My goal is to keep your dog comfortable by maintaining a routine that's as close as possible to what they're used to at home. Every dog adjusts to a new environment differently, so I always let them set the pace. I give new dogs time to decompress, explore, and get comfortable without overwhelming them. Building trust comes first. I follow your dog's routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. My home is calm, safe, and dog-friendly, and I closely supervise interactions to make sure every dog feels secure. My goal is to create a low-stress environment where your dog can relax, feel at home, and enjoy their stay.

I told Shree that it hasn’t happened often, but that both Trixie and Snoops are very good at sensing kindness in people. Within the hour, Shree provided us with photos showing them smiling (yes, our dogs smile) and having fun with her so that we would feel at ease. My husband will have to come back for further treatment at the Mayo Clinic and we definitely plan to ask Shree to care for our babies again.
