“Heather was wonderful. I messaged her last minute and responded very quickly and she was very accommodating. Our dog Minuit had a wonderful time with Heather and her dog. I highly recommend her.”

About: I've had a dog or a cat (often both) in my life ever since I was 10. I love making new furiends, so I'd love to meet yours! My pup (Bailey) has separation anxiety, so I’m very familiar with supporting special needs, giving medication, and training. We alternate between off-leash fun walks and on-leash training walks, so I can adjust to your dog’s needs. I’m also a big fan of playing, especially if your dog needs to get some energy out. I split my time between volunteering at my local library and walking dogs, so my schedule is flexible. I prefer to walk dogs in the morning or early afternoon. I don't sit at my home, but I love getting updates about my pets when I'm away, so you can expect plenty of pictures and videos of your pets!

“Sarah was absolutely wonderful, she took great care of our girl Minuit. She fed her, and gave her love and attention. She asked about Minuit's personality and habits and that was a very nice touch. Would absolutely recommend :)”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life with experience ranging from hyper puppies to mellow older dogs. I've become the default care taker for any family members pet and love every second of it. My dog and I love going on walks and playing fetch in the backyard, she even sleeps on my bed which is the cutest thing ever. This is why I know how that special attention and physical activity is for a dog. I am capable of brushing and grooming the dog if they are well behaved. I've managed overnight care for a week while in school and making sure the pets were happy and well cared for. I'm reliable, organized and will always treat your dog as my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I have my own vehicle and a flexible part time job. I'm available on weekdays and weekends while always willing to work with your schedule to do what is best for your pets. I make sure that my dog is walked or taken outside every 4 hours. Having explicit instructions on how to care for your pet is appreciated so that I can ensure that the best care is provided. I always check to make sure that gates are closed in the backyard and that whatever environment your dog is in they feel safe and happy.

“Our gigantic pandemic puppy is improving each time no she walks with Sailor. This is helping us manage our puppy. Sailor is responsible, and he gives a solid walk plus for the time. Thanks Sailor.”

About: I have had both cats and dogs in my life, so I am familiar with the care and love needed for both of them! I do work during the day, but I’m used to rushing home to spend time with my furry friends, as it’s my most favorite pastime. In addition to having my own pets, I’ve also been a dog walker on the app Wag! for about a year. If you’re looking for a caring and responsible animal lover, please send me a message! I work full time, Monday- Friday, but my week nights and weekends are wide open for boarding, sitting, or drop in visits. Also to make up for time in the house, I have a small dog park near my apartment that I would be more than happy to take your dog(s) to for some well deserved play time. I do my best to create the safest environment and loving environment for pets as possible! I’ve had a dog that loves to eat anything she could find, so I’m vigilant about keeping trash covered and the floors free of unsafe snacks. I also have experience with both reactive and social dogs, so I’m well aware of safe walking and play habits when it comes to being around other dogs and people in public.

“Jeremy was incredibly communicative and very responsive to messages I sent! Jeremy sent me very cute pictures of Mater, and let me know the start and end of the walk. Jeremy was very attentive to mater and was very observant about heat sensitivity, and made sure that mater drank water before Jeremy left! The next time I need a dog walker I’m absolutely going to book with them again!”

My Dogs name is Eggy who is a 2 year old rescue with a love of balls and social anxiety. I am currently in graduate school working towards my masters in clinical social work. With this, I have ample time to spend with furry friends. Entering someone’s home is an honor and a privilege, especially when you are in-trusted with the care and safety of a pet. With this I try to respect the expectations of every pet parent and every pet. I work to leave a home as I found it, be mindful of the needs of each pet, and express my gratitude.

“Sharene has a patient, gentle manner with animals. She was able to accommodate a last minute booking to check on my puppy midday, while I worked, and she was flexible when I needed to cancel a booking due to sickness. Easy to work with, and prompt to arrive.”

About: It might sound funny to say I have 26 years of pet care experience, but I’ve truly never known a life without animals. I grew up in a family where dogs and cats were part of the family, not just pets. Over the years, we’ve loved pugs, labs, terrier mixes, a cavapoo with epilepsy, rottweilers, dobermans, a brussels griffon, and an American bulldog. For a time, we even had bearded dragons and rabbits….every animal had a special place in our home! I’ve also had the joy of caring for households with both senior pets and energetic young ones, making sure each one got the attention and care they needed. These days, I live in Northampton with my sweet orange American Shorthair cat, Zora. Caring for animals has always been a part of who I am, and I’d love to bring that same care and love to your pets too. I’m currently a PhD candidate, and during the summer months my schedule is much more flexible, as I’ll mainly be focused on researching and writing my dissertation. I’m truly lucky to have the privilege of being adaptable with my time, which allows me to adjust to the needs of each family I work with When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. When I’m visiting a client’s home I create a calm, secure environment where animals can feel comfortable and cared for. I take the time to learn each pet’s individual routines, preferences, and any special needs they might have from medication schedules to favorite toys. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep communication open with frequent updates, photos, and check-ins. I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets, so I make it a priority to be as communicative and reassuring as possible, giving you peace of mind while you’re apart. My approach is gentle, patient, and attentive, making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

Brooke P.
“It will be difficult to keep my comments to 25 words. Brooke is my granddaughter and she is a wonderful and caring young lady. Besides being very caring for her grandparents, she has shown to be caring for animals. Brooke has been around animals for all of her life. As an infant my dog would curl up with her when she took her daily naps. During her grammar school and high school years, her family had 2 cats and a dog. She was responsible to help walk, play and feed them. She was the favorite member of the family for their dog to climb into her bed at night. Recently during the past year, Brooke took care of her Aunts dog and cat. When her aunt returned, her only complaint was the pets didn't seem to realize she was gone. Brooke took excellent care of them and kept their normal routines. I believe that animals have the ability to know who to trust. Whenever Brooke is around animals, they come to her and feel safe. Brooke is a responsible and loving pet caregiver and they all love her.”

Over 16 pet parents in Leeds have booked dog walking
Leeds dog parents share their Rover experiences
We have been working with Sharene for 10 months now. She regularly comes to walk our one year old pup. Sharene is excellent at communicating changes to her schedule with advanced notice, and she’s accommodating when we need to make last-minute changes. In June of 2024, Sharene stayed at our house for a week while we were away. Our puppy was recovering from surgery, we were worried to leave her, but Sharene took excellent care of her. It was a huge relief to know that Sharene had everything well in hand. I would not hesitate to recommend Sharene for responsible and attentive pet care!
