About: I have many years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I grew up with 3 dogs and 2 cats, and I have 5 years of experience dealing with cats with Feline Diabetes. I have 4 cats that I love and care for every day, they are my whole world! I am available on nights, weekends, and holidays. In my clients home, I would get to know the animals first and make them feel comfortable with me, and make sure I listen carefully to the clients instructions on how to care for the pet(s).

About: My background in canine care began at the Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center in Huntington, NY in 2008. I was employed there for several years as a dog walker and socializer, working with a wide variety of dogs and puppies from many different walks of life. All of the dogs were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with exercise, playtime, feeding, and even medication distribution. After working at the shelter, I found myself at a few local grooming parlors, working as a bather. As you've probably experienced, most dogs do not love being bathed and groomed, and so I would try my very best to make them comfortable in the unfamiliar situation they were in, taking the time to check in on them frequently and give them lots of reassurance and loving. Patience goes a long way! In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house and pet sitting job. However, since then I've been working a full time office job and have been unable to enjoy much time with canine companions. I will regularly pet sit for close friends and family, but I'm ready to spend more time around furry friends! I'd love to meet you and your pup and ensure that they're properly taken care of and loved while you're out on the weekend, working, or away on vacation! I'm currently working part-time, with a very flexible schedule, so there's a good chance I'll be able to accommodate your scheduling needs! Reach out to me with any questions. I have two cats at who are cautious of other animals, so I'm happy to care for your pet in your home!
