I was always the child who brought a stray animal home or found an injured animal that needed attention. As I grew older I had almost every pet in the book and oh how I loved caring for them all. As soon as I was old enough I volunteered at my local animal shelter and then obtained a job as an assistant manager at a pet hotel in NYC. I got to learn the ins and outs of providing a safe , FUN and trustworthy experience for both clients and their beloved fur children. After that I decided to see the other side of animal care, the medical side ! I worked at a veterinary hospital for 6 years that specialized in daycare, boarding, grooming but most of all health and rehabilitation. I gained experience working with all species, young , old, friendly, shy, spicy! I worked with those who needed medication, special diets and who had special routines. I have 5 rescue cats of my own as well as two rescue chihuahuas. I know how important it is to make animals feel comfortable while their owners are away, after all they are family ! I have been pet sitting privately for clients that used to come to the vet I worked at as well as those who contacted me through word of mouth. But as I have become a stay at home mom, I wanted to expand my services into my community! I can promise whether your pet is at my house, or I drop in or stay over your house, they will be treated like my own. I am an excellent communicator and will send tons of updates!

Amber was amazing with our baby, Debussy! We had her take care of him for two weeks while we were away, and honestly, we couldn’t have felt better knowing he was with her. She took such great care of him, kept us updated, and sent us pictures and videos along the way, which gave us so much peace of mind. You can really tell when someone genuinely cares, and Amber treated him like he was her own. We’re so grateful for everything she did for our little guy. She’s officially part of our team now, and we’re so happy to have someone we can truly trust with our baby. We can’t recommend Amber enough! ❤️
Amber watched our 2 frenchies Roy and Bruno for 5 nights! She was amazing. The boys had a great time with the other fur babies in her spacious yard. She communicated with us daily with photos and videos. I think they are even a little sad we came and got them. We would definitely use Amber again!

Amber was amazing! She was so communicative throughout Oliver’s stay and truly made him feel right at home. This was my first time boarding him, and she made the entire experience so easy and reassuring. Oliver was so happy and clearly in the best hands! I will absolutely be choosing Amber again the next time I need someone to watch him. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
Amber was great and real professional . She boarded our cat for a week and knew it was the first time ever she was out of our home. She handled her with care and kindness and gave us constant updates .

Schedule
I worked at a veterinary hospital for 6 years while obtaining my masters degree. The office specialized in medical care for all breeds, boarding, grooming and daycare. Prior to that I was working as an assistant manager at a pet hotel in NYC. Just this past year I had my son and transitioned to a stay at home mom, with tons of time to dedicate to my favorite passion, animal care !

Safety, trust & environment
I have a very large fenced yard that borders on the forest. It is extremely scenic and there is a ton of room for running around and getting those zoomies out, or relaxing under a beautiful tree in the shade. Indoors you have the option of having your pet be free roaming, or to request they stay in their own private space in either one of my two guest bedrooms. Tons of toys, bedding and love provided, all I request is you bring their own food so they stay on their regular feeding routine.

A typical day is just like my own pets typical day! Waking up from a cozy nights sleep, breakfast , yard time, tons of play time and loving! Any special requests let me know !

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs, medications and please bring their current diet so they do not get an upset stomach from food changes. Bedding , water, toys provided but feel free to bring your own as well!
