About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets since I was little. Pets of my own, family and friends. I’ve always been dependable and so loving of animals. About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. I live in a first-floor condo apartment in a neighborhood with lots of green areas — perfect for dogs who love quick potty breaks and longer sniffing walks. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. While we were attending our niece’s wedding, we kept checking our phones, fully expecting a call or text saying Nessa was crying or looking for us. That message never came—because she was apparently having the time of her life! When we returned to pick her up, Nessa was excited to show us all of her new friends. We only wish Marla lived in Connecticut instead of New York. Finding someone who genuinely loves and cares for your pet as though they were part of their own family is incredibly rare, and we would trust her with Nessa again in a heartbeat.”

When I lived in the city I would walk dogs once a week. I am familiar with this. I am currently working on my start up which is about reviewing apartments, landlords and neighborhoods. About: All my life I have taken care of animals big and small. Special care or simple care they will be loved and safe with me. I work a hybrid job, from home Monday and Friday office tues-Thurs. all fur babies baby will love the attention and affection they will get. In my home they will have a safe room to sleep or stay in if they want quiet or they can mingle around the house. In your home I would follow your instructions as to where they are allowed to be. About: Animal lover since the day I was born! I have a 5 year old cat named Lilly who is extremely friendly with other pets so I can bring pets to my house. I worked at New York’s Best Pets on Dyckman 200 Street before it burned down unfortunately and there I took care of feeding, grooming and playing with the pets as well as customer service. I’ve taken care of many dogs in the past, from walking to dog sitting. I have given prescribed medicine to dogs when they needed it and have trimmed their hair when asked to, as well as given them a full shower and a good groom.
