About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love them all big to small. I’m a dog owner myself, I have a 14-year-old Boston Terrier and a 2-year-old Golden Retriever. So I’m very used to both senior dogs and high energy pups. I really understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pet. I’m very consistent, always show up, and treat every pet like my own. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, fresh food/water, or some playtime and attention, I’ll make sure they’re happy, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I’m available for late morning visits and afternoon drop-ins during the week, with more limited availability on weekends. I focus on a small number of consistent clients to provide reliable care. I work part-time at a school so once summer hits, I will have more hours. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. About: I've had the pleasure of caring for dogs since I was 13. I've had my own dogs, as well as caring for and watching many friends' and neighbors' dogs overnight. I simply adore dogs and I believe they can sense it. I'm very patient, calm, & will treat your dog with the upmost of care. I'm dedicated to dog sitting and walking! My schedule is flexible and I'm available 5 days (Sunday through Thursday in the day), and overnights Sunday through Thursday as well. I'm comfortable staying over a client's house. About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I lived with two tuxedo cats who completely stole my heart. As I got older, I took on many of their daily care responsibilities, including feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, and making sure they felt loved and comfortable. Today, my wife and I are proud pet parents to two black cats. In addition to caring for cats, I have experience watching a toy poodle puppy under one year old. My responsibilities have included taking her outside for regular bathroom breaks, supervising walks, engaging her in play and exercise, teaching basic tricks and commands, reinforcing good behavior, and helping her work through separation anxiety. Caring for a young puppy taught me the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, patience, and attentiveness to a pet's individual needs. Whether caring for cats or dogs, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment where pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, and I strive to give each pet the same level of attention and affection that I would want for my own. i work part time in the mornings and am available most days after 1pm. I am a doctoral student at Stony Brook University, so I am flexible to watch your pup or kitty any time in the afternoons/evenings. If needed, I can do an early morning stop by at 6:30AM prior to heading to work. in my clients home, I will be respectful of property, taking off shoes before entering the house, cleaning up any messes that the animal/myself may create, ensuring the animal has food, water, litter box, toys, etc. accessible, and to lock up the house, windows, and any gates prior to leaving the home. I will always accommodate the clients requests. In my home, I have multiple floors to separate my animals from the animal(s) coming into my home. I also have a fully fenced in, large backyard for a dog to run around in. We have a home security system as well to ensure safety.

About: I am a full time employee in an assisted living. I had my sweet dachshund for 17 years, and caring for her through her senior years taught me how to care and keep senior pets happy. Now I have a happy, energetic bernedoodle and two adorable bunnies at my parents house and always miss now that I am away. I I have been around both small and large dogs all of my life. Growing up I constantly house sat, fed and watered pets while my neighbors were away for pocket money. I look forward to becoming your dog’s new favorite sitter! I have work till 5pm and then the rest of the day I have time to take care of your pets. When I lived with my pets I would let them out in the yard in the mornings and as soon as I would get home. I made sure to give them attention and affection everyday. I have dealt with senior dogs and am well aware of their limits. About: My background in canine care began at the Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center in Huntington, NY in 2008. I was employed there for several years as a dog walker and socializer, working with a wide variety of dogs and puppies from many different walks of life. All of the dogs were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with exercise, playtime, feeding, and even medication distribution. After working at the shelter, I found myself at a few local grooming parlors, working as a bather. As you've probably experienced, most dogs do not love being bathed and groomed, and so I would try my very best to make them comfortable in the unfamiliar situation they were in, taking the time to check in on them frequently and give them lots of reassurance and loving. Patience goes a long way! In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house and pet sitting job. However, since then I've been working a full time office job and have been unable to enjoy much time with canine companions. I will regularly pet sit for close friends and family, but I'm ready to spend more time around furry friends! I'd love to meet you and your pup and ensure that they're properly taken care of and loved while you're out on the weekend, working, or away on vacation! About: I had a cat when I was young which I took care of. Along with the cat, I’ve had various beta fish each living beyond expected life spans. When I was 17-19, I took care of my neighbor’s cat while they were on vacation. I’ve also helped take care of my grandmother’s dog for the past 5 years. I take her for walks and play with her. For the past few months, I’ve been volunteering at an animal shelter where my job is to clean the cat rooms and walk the dogs there. About: Hello! My name is Samantha, and I’ve been surrounded by fur babies my entire life. Growing up, I had two miniature poodles, one of whom had special needs. He struggled with chronic allergies and a seizure disorder, and I helped care for him with daily medications and a special diet that gave him a long, happy life until he passed at 16 years old. Today, my family includes two standard poodles, two parrots, and a rabbit. Beyond that, I also care for the wildlife around my home. I feed 20–30 blue jays daily, I feed stray cats, and I’ve built enough trust with the wild rabbits in my yard that they now let me hand-feed them. Those quiet moments with animals bring me so much joy. In high school, I pursued my passion for animal care by completing the BOCES veterinary program, where I earned two Awards of Excellence. I also hold a Veterinary Medical Assistant certification, which reflects my dedication to giving animals the love and care they deserve. I’m starting college this fall and am excited about my future, but my love for animals will always hold a big place in my heart. He is great with more high energy and active dogs, going on long walks, or runs and hikes with them. I work full time where I commute Monday-Friday. Weekends I’m home. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

“Sarah was great at stopping by and caring for my two cats. I almost think to good, my cats didn't seem to miss me when I got back. Sarah sent photos and spent time with them so they didn't feel neglected. Sarah also went above and beyond by shoveling snow! It snowed while I was away and Sarah cleared the walk way and some of the driveway. Plus she also let the cats have some outdoor time in the snow (they are indoor/outdoor cats so it was good that they got some outdoor time while I was away so things seemed normal).”
