About: I've had the pleasure of caring for dogs since I was 13. I've had my own dogs, as well as caring for and watching many friends' and neighbors' dogs overnight. I simply adore dogs and I believe they can sense it. I'm very patient, calm, & will treat your dog with the upmost of care. I'm dedicated to dog sitting and walking! My schedule is flexible and I'm available 5 days (Sunday through Thursday in the day), and overnights Sunday through Thursday as well. I'm comfortable staying over a client's house. I'm respectful of property and very clean. I will become fast friends with your fur baby and play with them for hours.

About: My name is Morgan. I love animals no matter what type, breed, size or age. I have one dog and three cats, all of which I rescued from animal shelters. I love my pets more than anything, if you choose me to watch your pets, I can guarantee you I’ll treat them like my own pets! I am very organized and personable. I pride myself in being very tidy and respectful, especially while inside your home. I will focus 100% of my time on your pets while I am working with them because I find it very important to always show animals the love and attention they deserve. Please feel free to ask me any questions about me, my experience or my availability! I look forward to hearing from you! Pet care is honestly just woven into my daily routine at this point, it doesn't feel like a separate task. My mornings start with feeding and a walk, which actually gives me a great reason to get outside and move before I sit down to work. Throughout the day I'm mindful of keeping things consistent for them, meals, playtime, making sure they're not just sitting alone for too long. Evenings are usually when we wind down together, which I genuinely look forward to. It's one of those things that adds structure to my day without feeling like a chore, more like a grounding ritual than a responsibility. I care for pets the same way I'd want someone to care for mine, with consistency, attention, and a lot of patience. In my own home, that means sticking to a routine they can rely on: regular feeding times, daily walks or play sessions, and making sure their space is clean and comfortable. I pay close attention to their moods and energy levels because animals communicate a lot through behavior, and catching when something feels off early makes a big difference. When it comes to caring for a client's pet, I make it a priority to understand their specific needs before I ever step through the door. Every pet is different, different diets, different temperaments, different routines, and I take detailed notes on all of it. I follow the owner's instructions closely, keep their environment familiar and stress-free, and always communicate updates so the owner feels confident and informed while they're away. I treat their home with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine, and I treat their pet like my own.
“Katlyn has been great with our two dogs! She is punctual and sends photos when the drop-in is completed. She did a great job feeding the two dogs in one of the drop-in visits and even administering medication for our puppy with allergies. Would highly recommend Katlyn!”

“Kimberly is amazing with our 5 month old puppy!!! She has been sitting for her for an hour twice a day and our puppy loves her! She’s also amazing about not reinforcing unwanted behaviors like jumping and she made a point to ask me what tricks our puppy knows so she can practice them with her too. Our puppy is not fully potty trained and needs to sometimes be reminded to go potty but Kimberly makes sure to have her go and she has not had any accidents. She also keeps me posted if things come up during the visit (like a lost tooth!) which I really appreciate. I could not be happier with how everything is going”

“Madison is a great dog sitter. She is very easy to communicate with and kept me up to date when playing with my puppy. She is great with my puppy who is still in the process of getting potty trained and is very energetic. I highly recommend contacting her and booking her to sit.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love them all big to small. I’m a dog owner myself, I have a 14-year-old Boston Terrier and a 2-year-old Golden Retriever. So I’m very used to both senior dogs and high energy pups. I really understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pet. I’m very consistent, always show up, and treat every pet like my own. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, fresh food/water, or some playtime and attention, I’ll make sure they’re happy, safe, and cared for while you’re away. If you’re looking for someone local, trustworthy, and consistent, I’d love to help! I’m available for late morning visits and afternoon drop-ins during the week, with more limited availability on weekends. I focus on a small number of consistent clients to provide reliable care. I work part-time at a school so once summer hits, I will have more hours. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for during every visit.
About: Hello! My name is Samantha, and I’ve been surrounded by fur babies my entire life. Growing up, I had two miniature poodles, one of whom had special needs. He struggled with chronic allergies and a seizure disorder, and I helped care for him with daily medications and a special diet that gave him a long, happy life until he passed at 16 years old. Today, my family includes two standard poodles, two parrots, and a rabbit. Beyond that, I also care for the wildlife around my home. I feed 20–30 blue jays daily, I feed stray cats, and I’ve built enough trust with the wild rabbits in my yard that they now let me hand-feed them. Those quiet moments with animals bring me so much joy. In high school, I pursued my passion for animal care by completing the BOCES veterinary program, where I earned two Awards of Excellence. I also hold a Veterinary Medical Assistant certification, which reflects my dedication to giving animals the love and care they deserve. I’m starting college this fall and am excited about my future, but my love for animals will always hold a big place in my heart. That’s why I’ve decided to make room for even more fur babies by offering my help here to anyone in need. I’m flexible with my schedule and happy to work with you to find times that best fit your pet’s needs. Any time of the day you need, I’m there. When it comes to caring for your dogs, I make safety and trust my top priorities. Whether I’m walking your pup, staying with them in your home, or just dropping by for a visit, you can count on me to treat them as if they were my own. I always pay close attention to their surroundings, making sure walks are safe, leashes are secure, and they’re never put in uncomfortable situations. Your trust means everything to me, and I know how important it is to feel at ease when leaving your pets in someone else’s care. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain consistency with their routines, and keep communication open so you always know how they’re doing. I also believe a calm, positive environment is key to happy pets. Whether it’s giving them plenty of exercise, engaging playtime, or just quiet companionship, I do my best to create an environment where your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a natural love for caring for pets. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands while you’re away! I currently work as a teacher assistant and I’m also a part-time student, so I stay pretty busy but, I always make time for things I care about. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have been caring for them most of my life, so being attentive to their needs comes naturally to me. I treat every pet like they’re my own; making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and pay close attention to routines, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or just giving them the extra affection they’re used to. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and check-ins for peace of mind. I’m especially patient with shy or anxious dogs and take the time to help them feel at ease. My fiance Eric has also always grown up with dogs and was responsible for taking care of dogs and his cat while growing up and they all lived will into their senior years. I work full time where I commute Monday-Friday. Weekends I’m home. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
“Mia was so great! Responded quickly and was able to stay with my puppy for as long as I needed and sent the cutest pictures without me even having to ask! I will definitely use her again!”

About: My background in canine care began at the Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center in Huntington, NY in 2008. I was employed there for several years as a dog walker and socializer, working with a wide variety of dogs and puppies from many different walks of life. All of the dogs were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with exercise, playtime, feeding, and even medication distribution. After working at the shelter, I found myself at a few local grooming parlors, working as a bather. As you've probably experienced, most dogs do not love being bathed and groomed, and so I would try my very best to make them comfortable in the unfamiliar situation they were in, taking the time to check in on them frequently and give them lots of reassurance and loving. Patience goes a long way! In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house and pet sitting job. However, since then I've been working a full time office job and have been unable to enjoy much time with canine companions. I will regularly pet sit for close friends and family, but I'm ready to spend more time around furry friends! I'd love to meet you and your pup and ensure that they're properly taken care of and loved while you're out on the weekend, working, or away on vacation! I'm currently working part-time, with a very flexible schedule, so there's a good chance I'll be able to accommodate your scheduling needs! Reach out to me with any questions. I have two cats at who are cautious of other animals, so I'm happy to care for your pet in your home! I'd love to learn about your pet's routine and preferences to provide them the best care possible.
Lake Ronkonkoma dog parents share their Rover experiences
As always, Emma and Trent are the best. We’ve been lucky that they’ve been available when we needed someone to care for our girls while we needed to be away for several hours. We added another pup this time and Emma was welcoming to her as well. Dowdy, my granddaughters Chesapeake Bay Retriever can be a little excitable so we had a short meet and greet before we left for the evening. The meet and greet went exceptionally well so we felt very comfortable leaving all three of our furry girls with Emma and Trent. We highly recommend Emma and Trent to anyone needing a sitter for their furry friends. Our girls live them as well!

I cannot recommend Amber enough! From the very beginning, she was kind, professional, and clearly had a genuine love for animals. It gave me such peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such caring and capable hands while we were away. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which meant so much and reassured us that our dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We came home to very happy and well-cared-for pups! We are so grateful and will absolutely be using her again in the future. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and truly wonderful with animals, I highly recommend her.
Jess was incredible! This was our first time using a dog sitter that did drop in visits. We usually board at the a big name store. Jess was so nice and caring to our two dogs. She stopped in multiple times and always took the time to play with them and send us pictures and or videos. My dogs absolutely loved her. We will no longer be boarding the dogs and will hire Jess for future vacations. Total peace of mind. So glad we found her. Highly recommend!!
