I believe in keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated using toys, treats, and exercise. I will take your dog on walks and/or let them run around in the yard, whichever they prefer. I also like to walk trails and sometimes go on runs if the weather allows, so I’m always up for that too if your dog is!

Please let me know if your dog gets along with other dogs, has any sort of aggression or reactivity (ex: food aggression or leash reactivity), needs special food, or has specific triggers.
A typical day
I will take the dog for a walk or let them run in the yard at least 3x per day. If they love to play fetch or tug of war I’m their partner! I also think it’s important to continue reinforcing commands your dog might know such as sit, stay, etc. So to keep them mentally stimulated I’ll work with them on those and give them some small treat rewards for their successes. If they prefer to just cuddle up on the floor or couch, I’m always down for that too :)

Hi! I currently have a 3 year old blue heeler/border collie mix! I love dogs and have experience with positive reinforcement training, dealing with dog aggression (toward food, toys, other dogs, etc.), and live a very active lifestyle where I can provide your dog with plenty of stimulation and fun. I can’t wait to meet your pup!

Kelly is a wonderful person who has a big heart and love for dogs. She has provided exceptional care for my dogs in the past as well as a place for them to be outside and able to run off energy with the yard at her home. Dogs are naturally attracted to her as she is very welcoming and provides them with so much love and care. I would highly recommend Kelly to any dog owner looking for someone to take care of their dog and love their dog while away.
