About: I've been around pets all my life and developed a strong understanding of animal care from a young age. As an adult, I’ve gained hands-on experience with a range of pet personalities, from energetic working dogs and playful kittens, to nervous rescues with behavioral challenges. I helped socialize two shy, unhappy adult cats, one of whom took over a year to build trust. I’ve cared for Sonny, a reactive corgi mix, supporting his training, managing reactivity on walks, and recognizing stress signals. I’ve also bonded with Zelda, an anxious German Shepherd mix, helping her feel safe through patience and consistent care. I’ve managed feeding, walks, training, and emotional support for each pet with empathy and respect for their unique needs. I am a freelancer, so I work remotely and make my own schedule. This gives me a lot of flexibility for in-home visits and dog walks. I always carefully follow the instructions given by the pet parent. For working dog breeds, I make sure to give them long walks and plenty of play time. For more apprehensive animals, I will be mindful about making loud noises or sudden movement and give them time to warm up to me. I always adapt to the pets’ needs and send plenty of photo updates to the parents along the way.

I have raised puppies, cared for senior cats and dogs, administered medicines, owned many small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils) and even raised a puppy for the Guide Dog Foundation. About: I am a very caring and compassionate individual who has always loved and felt very comfortable around dogs my entire life. The dogs I have interacted with (either my personal dogs or those that I have cared for) all feed off that energy and enjoy being around someone who they know will genuinely love and care for them. I am also very active & also believe activity is vital for dogs to stay healthy, so I love going on walks and playing with dogs in ways that get them running and exercising. I am not classically trained in dog skills but I have successfully helped potty train both my black lab and dogs that I have cared for in the past. I also have walked two dogs at the same time multiple times without any issues. As far as my availability is concerned, I am a law student, so my availability is heavily based on my school schedule. About: Since I was 4 years old we had dogs at home, a boxer mix and a poodle. Later on when I was 15 my mom got a pug, and then another one while my sister got a big pit mix with special needs. And 7 years ago I adopted a dog of my own, a 60lb hound mix, who's the light of my day. I've walked all the dogs in my family, and taken care of them when needed. With my own dog, I do everything for him, from baths, playtime, walks, roadtrips, cuddle and I love him, his medical care is up to date and I always make sure he's happy and healthy. I've also watched over friends dogs and cats, and follow all the rules I've been given, every dog ans cat is different and unique and deserves the same respect and care. I am available weekdays after 5:30pm (except for Tuesdays) Weekends I'm usually available, I can be flexible with my plans. I do update my schedule regularly. I cannot dog sit in my home. But I will love to walk your dog(s) in your neighborhood, take them on a hike, take them on drives, as well as staying over for a few hours. I'll follow your rules with no problem and I'll give my outmust attention, respect and love to your dog(s). Meet and greets would be preferable. As well as letting me know of any health or behavioral concerns your dog(s) might have so I can give individualized care.
