About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. I live in a first-floor condo apartment in a neighborhood with lots of green areas — perfect for dogs who love quick potty breaks and longer sniffing walks. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just giving a pet extra attention, I find that caring for animals is the perfect complement to my studies—it keeps me grounded, happy, and motivated. When I care for pets, my priority is making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable—whether that’s in my home or in a client’s home. I’ve stayed in clients’ homes for a week at a time, done drop-in visits, and taken dogs on walks, so I’m flexible to what each family needs. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow routines closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions—so pets stick to what’s familiar and feel at ease. I treat their home with the same respect as I would my own. I’m also very communicative and know how important updates are when you’re away. I check in regularly with photos, notes, and anything you’d like to know so you always feel connected and reassured. Families I’ve worked with know they can trust me to be reliable, caring, and attentive to every detail.
