About: I have taken care of a variety of dog breeds and pets for years. I have been entrusted by neighbors, family, and friends to care for their pets specific needs and wants. No request is too big or small to provide for the joy returned to me whether it's my own fur babies or yours. As an educator I have alot felixability. I am currently free during the weekdays and weekends to board and care for your pet if needed. I have a fenced in backyard with my two dogs, Skittles and Pop-tart to keep your fur-baby company. I can easily crate your pet if you prefer in
7. Brianna S.
“Brianna is reliable, friendly and loves dogs! She will treat your dog with great care, love and respect. Our Coton de Tulear, Ricotta, adored her.”
8. Christina C.
“Christina is the most caring sitter I have ever met. My dogs, Ginger and Sonny, are two large golden retrievers that need a lot of attention. They love her ! She also gives Sonny his medication and once brought to my attention a growth he had on his hip, which I wasnt aware of..She is always dependable and follows my thorough directions to the letter! From fog walking, dog sitting and daily pet care I would rate her services out of 10 out of 10, if you need a sitter Christina is the one for you!”
9. Julia L.
About: I've owned and cared for cats my entire life and began pet sitting for neighbors & friends ~10 years ago. I love all animals and truly adore being able to meet and bond with new pets as a part of my daily life. Something to note: I have experience medicating cats since my fur baby was a diabetic who required insulin injections daily for 5+ years of his life. I'm fairly new to Rover (~2 years active), hence my lack of reviews compared to other sitters, but I assure you that I do everything in my power to exceed all care expectations and treat your home with the utmost respect :) I work part time in Stony Brook, primarily on Wednesdays. My shifts are no longer than 6 hours typically. My schedule is very flexible and I am open to working with each pet owner to meet their care needs. My personal cats have always been indoor/outdoor because we never wanted to deprive them of the outside world. I understand why some pet owners only allow indoor animals and I completely respect that! My home has always treated its animals with as much care as you would a baby. Although I do not do take-home services, I will treat your home with an equal amount of respect and kindness as I do my own.
10. Josh G.
About: Ive been around dogs for pretty much my entire life. Ever since I got my first pup at 7 yrs old ive learned the hard way the actual care dogs need. I know they need attention and a watchful eye and an area secure enough for them to feel like they have the freedom to run around and play, I know they need their exercise , and of course their occasional treat ! ... I say all that to say this , we all know they just want their belly rubbed ! I work as a customer service rep / engineer so i work a mix of on site and at home. I am at home 3 times a week and out 2 days. When I am out i work 6-8 hours but come home in between for lunch and to let my own dog out. From their I live a private life at home where I play dog dad and continue getting ready for the week I have a 1 yr old pup and a fenced in yard that keeps her safe to run around freely. The fence was put up in the summer of 2022 so its guaranteed closed in, no holes for these exploring pups to slip through
11. Theresa O.
“I have known Theresa for many years and never hesitate to trust her with my pet. I like the comfort of knowing she's working from home and has a fenced in yard for my pup to play in.”
12. Lisa G.
“Lisa was an absolute gem of a dog walker for our dog, Bowie. She was was responsive when messagaing, she was punctual, and caring. I would not hesitate to have Lisa walk or take care of my dog at any point in the future. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thanks again. Lisa!”
13. Arlene S.
“Arlene has worked at Bideawee for 4 years. She is an excellent caretaker, and trainer. She has helped socialize and train dogs that are extremely shy and fearful. She also works with young puppies and teaches them their 'puppy manners' and obedience through positive reinforcement training. Arlene has most recently worked with dogs that were rescued from the meat trade in Thailand, and has helped them learn to trust people, and learn tricks as well! I would highly recommend Arlene as a dog trainer or pet caregiver.”
14. Aurora J.
“Aurora is wonderful with my pup! You can tell she’s a total dog lover and really enjoys working with pets. My pup is really energetic and needs a good deal of attention when she gets watched and Aurora is great with her. I’ll for sure be using her again!”
15. Kayla B.
“Can’t say enough good things about Kayla! She was so accommodating with her schedule, amazing with updates both on her arrival/pictures of Emmy and just overall so sweet. We will definitely recommend her to anyone and be using her again ☺️”
16. Lindsey B.
“Lindsey B is a true dog lover. She has a great vibe with all kinds of dogs and really enjoys loving them and being loved back!”
17. Shannon W.
“Shannon has dog sat for my 4 year old mini Australian shepherd since she was a puppy & we couldn’t recommend her more! Our pup loves Shannon/is always excited to see her and she takes the best care of her. Takes her on walks, plays with her, and gives her the most attention, we couldn’t have asked for a better person to dog sit. Definitely puts our mind at ease to have someone we trust so much take care of our little pup! Highly recommend!!”
18. Frank B.
“Frank Frank Frank. Where do I begin. This man saved my cat’s life. Being a student, I spent more time at home doing Zoom classes and big assignments, so when I started working full time, Tula was not pleased. Tula became depressed, irritable, and resentful. Frank spent day in and day out watching over Tula, cuddling her, playing with her, and doing absolutely everything in his power to make her feel loved when I wasn’t around. He did this for months. Tula has started running again. She’s started singing again. Her fur looks shinier. She’s smiling every day. All thanks to Frank. Needless to say, she’s a needy girl. Frank understands her needs and exceeds what any of us could have ever asked of a caretaker. If I could have Frank move in, I would. I’m forever grateful to him for the love he gave to my child. My greatest wish is that he continues to make the same impact on other families.”
