About: My dog is the most important thing to me. Therefore I know what it’s like to worry about whether my fur baby is in good hands. I will treat your baby just as I treat mine and will try to make their time away from you less stressful for both of you. You can be assured that they will be in good hands. Whether it’s for a walk or to take care of them for a couple days. I understand that all pets are different and they all have different needs. I will try to know as much as possible to provide the best service to you and your pet. I have a lot of personal experience with dogs in my own personal life and would love to share that experience with all :)

She is so patient and caring, I had to scheduled an emergency walk because my dog was left alone by a family member that was supposed to stay with him, he met her for the first time without me being home and she patiently tried to warm him up, he is too territorial but she let him in the back yard and he used the bathroom. I cannot thank her enough !

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my family for 10 years and helped my grandmother care for her three litters of puppies. I’m patient, caring, and love being around dogs. Since I enjoy staying active, I’m also a great fit for pets that need plenty of walks and exercise. I currently work part time and in grad school, so I have flexibility to accommodate most schedules to give your dog the care and attention it needs. I can walk your dog, check in on them, or stay overnight in your home, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

About: I have many years of experience in the vet field from my career. I’ve always known that I wanted to take care of animals in a certain way, but being hands on is the best form! I currently work part-time at a pet rehabilitation center and will soon be home full-time to help out around with other pets around my community. I have a fenced in yard and a very sweet fur baby who loves all people, toys, and things and will make friends right away.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and enjoy making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to follow each owner’s instructions closely. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or just a calm companion, I’ll make sure they feel loved and cared for. I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. Since I’m home often, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time, and I can help keep them on their normal schedule so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. For house sitting, I’m also able to bring my work equipment with me, which allows me to stay with your pet while still working remotely and giving them consistent care and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their routine and environment as normal and comfortable as possible. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications if needed, crate routines, and any house rules. I always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and fenced areas are secure, and I pay close attention during walks and playtime to keep pets safe. I’m respectful of every client’s home and will treat both your pet and your space with care. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: Growing up around animals and farm life, caring for them has always come naturally to me. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I am great with high energy pups who could use a good run and also your calm and cuddly furry babies that just want curl up on the couch with you. I treat every pet with genuine care, patience, and attention, always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their favorite family member is in reliable, capable hands and receiving the best care possible. I am a college student that is home for the summer full time currently. So I have plenty of time to care for your furry friends. I am looking to board anytime of day, and am free throughout the day from early morning to late evening for day care, drop ins, or walks. All week days are good for me. I have access to a dog park and great walking spots for long walks. I have ample space for boarding your pups overnight. I am available for frequent potty breaks and adventures outside. I am more than able to provide walks and exercise on a large scale from calm scenic walks to high energy runs.

About: 🐾 $20 OFF Your First Booking! 🐾 Professional Pet Sitting Services Across Long Island References available upon request. Please note: Pricing is an estimate and may be adjusted based on the level of care needed, hours required, mileage, number of visits, and your location. Rates may be lower or higher depending on your individual pet care needs. I proudly volunteer and foster with: • Jacob's Hope Rescue • Cat Mafia Rescue • TNR Task Force Services Offered: ✔ Overnight Pet Sitting ✔ Daily Check-Ins ✔ Multiple Visits Per Day ✔ Medication Administration (if needed) ✔ Care for Pets of All Sizes 🐶🐱 Where Your Pets Are Treated Like Royalty! 🐱🐶 Hi, I'm Natalie, a professional pet sitter and lifelong animal lover. I have over 20 years of experience caring for animals and have been passionate about their well-being since childhood. Caring for animals isn't just my profession—it's truly part of who I am. Throughout my life, I have cared for a wide variety of animals, providing feeding, grooming, bathing, exercise, companionship, and lots of love. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they receive individualized attention, compassion, and exceptional care while you're away. I understand that every pet is unique. Before each booking, I take the time to learn your pet's routines, preferences, health needs, and any specific instructions you may have. Building trust with both pets and their owners is extremely important to me. I respect that welcoming someone new into their home can be stressful for some animals, so I work patiently to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet enjoys belly rubs, ear scratches, playtime, or simply quiet companionship, they will always receive my undivided attention and care. I believe caring for animals is one of the greatest acts of service we can give to the world, and I would be honored to care for your furry family members. For more information about me and my work with animals, please visit my Facebook page: Natalie Marie and send me a friend request or message. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾❤️ I enjoy the outdoors, so if your dog needs some activity i can provide that. Otherwise, I’m happy to take it on long walks, play outside, or give it some loving belly rubs/ear scratches/pets! After the ground rules are laid out, I like to get to know the pet and let the pet get to know me. A stranger coming into its domain can be a lot for some pets, and I respect that. Therefore, I want to make sure the pet (and owner) know I’m a friend and can be trusted.

  • 87% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
