About: I have a big love for animals, especially dogs! I’ve had a dog, more specifically, a German Shepherd in my life since I was born. I recently moved back to Long Island from Arizona for college so I have a lot of free time lately! I would love to get to know your dog as I am very patient and loving toward animals ❤️ The extra money would be nice, but I’m really interested in getting to experience different types of personalities through the dogs that I will meet. I have watched my uncle’s German Shepherd for an extended period of time as well as my brother’s pitbull, my German Shepherd and also my miniature dachshund so I know what it’s like to have a full house! :) I hope you feel confident to choose me to watch your best friend I am currently finishing up my last semester of college as well providing services on Rover, so I have a lots of free time and very flexible hours :) I will take very good care of your furry friends, no matter what the task. About: I’ve owned a dog for decades… as I am recently retired… and will eventually get a new pup after some years to travel… giving luv to someone else’s pup seems like a great way to fulfill my love of dogs. It will always be me personally taking care of dogs. Recently retired from education… weekdays and weekends are free and school vacations. Have own dogs, my whole life but at present my wife and I don’t and are waiting as we fulfill our travel goals. So this seems like a perfect way to get my dog fixed… I absolutely adore all types of dogs. We live in a three bedroom home with a large fenced back yard. Pets can certainly cuddle on the couch unless owner doesn’t want :)

About: My background in canine care began at the Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center in Huntington, NY in 2008. I was employed there for several years as a dog walker and socializer, working with a wide variety of dogs and puppies from many different walks of life. All of the dogs were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with exercise, playtime, feeding, and even medication distribution. After working at the shelter, I found myself at a few local grooming parlors, working as a bather. As you've probably experienced, most dogs do not love being bathed and groomed, and so I would try my very best to make them comfortable in the unfamiliar situation they were in, taking the time to check in on them frequently and give them lots of reassurance and loving. Patience goes a long way! In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house and pet sitting job. However, since then I've been working a full time office job and have been unable to enjoy much time with canine companions. I will regularly pet sit for close friends and family, but I'm ready to spend more time around furry friends! I'd love to meet you and your pup and ensure that they're properly taken care of and loved while you're out on the weekend, working, or away on vacation! I'm currently working part-time, with a very flexible schedule, so there's a good chance I'll be able to accommodate your scheduling needs! Reach out to me with any questions. About: Hi ! My name is Britt! I have had a furry companion before I could walk! I am a mom of a black pug who is my best friend. I know If I needed a sitter I’d want someone I could trust to love him as much as I do when I wasn’t there. In your case that’s me. Your dog deserves the best care while you have peace of mind. I have been a dog walker for 10 years. I feel comfortable enough now to take the dog walking to the public, which is why I’m so glad I found rover! I can’t wait to meet your dog and you !! I work 9-4 as a closing officer. I have a flexible remote/in office position . I can customize my schedule around your dogs needs! The pups come first in my book! Monday to Thursday I am in Uniondale and can do any dog walking or drop ins around the area from 9-5. Fridays I work remotely and have clients in bayshore - Suffolk!! I walk all dogs from 5 pounds to 95 pounds. I’d like to say I’m an expert in all sizes and shapes ! I have a pug and he is literally the king of the castle. I always watch him while he goes outside in the back yard . I always make sure all gates are locked before letting him out. I have a pool so we have a fence with a lock on it to ensure his safety. Making sure your pet has clean water/ treats and is fed on the times your comfortable with. Lots of love at all times which just comes naturally for me with any dog! Count on videos and pictures to be sent to you whenever I am with your dog!

About: Cozy area, lots of attention, run with dog, walk around yard, can meet my dogs! Lots of playtime, food & water, outside time. I’ve owned dogs for over 10 years in my family, I’ve dogsat before in a clients home for a week, whom was also a diabetic, so I had to also give insulin. I am a huge dog lover, and always love being around them. We can go to dog parks, take plenty of walks around the neighborhood, and have great treats! I hope to provide great hospitality for your dog or dogs, and have them enjoy their time just as much as I would be. By letting me watch your dogs, I will make sure we all have the best time together! **please ask about availability during the week as the options on here aren’t the best** I have a full time job during the week.. On weekdays I am usually available on Mondays after 6pm, Tuesdays after 5pm, and Fridays after 5pm! Weekends vary, I’ll do my best to keep my calendar updated! It depends on what the client wants me to do to care for them! Making sure they go to the bathroom, hanging out with them inside, taking them for a walk, etc. overall, I like to make sure the pet(s) are getting attention and being entertained.

About: I was a teacher for 4 years and therefore have a lot of patience. I have had dogs and cats in my house throughout my life and love them dearly. I have also trained puppies before. I have my own small business and am looking for something in the mornings to do. I am also getting married next year and would love some extra income to pay for the wedding I love playing with the dogs in the backyard, as well as taking them for walks if applicable with a harness and leash. I’m careful with making sure the fences are fully closed and any gates that are needed

About: Raised a feisty Wheaten Terrier from a pup. Former owner of a chihuahua, poodle and German Shepherd. I’ve been walking dogs the last 5 years, currently walking 2 mid-day Monday-Thursday. I’m currently retired and I have plenty of availability. I volunteer delivering food on Tuesday mornings, but could still fit in walks or drop ins. I’m reliable and will work with your schedule. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly Wheaten Terrier. We live in a quiet low traffic area which is safe for taking walks.

About: I’ve been around dogs pretty much my entire life! I am the resident dog sitter of my friends and family, I’ve been dog/house sitting since I was probably 11-12 years old. Once I got my license, I would beg my friends to let me watch their dogs while they were on vacation! I also love taking dogs on walks! I walk my dogs daily, and I try to hike with my dogs 2-3 times a week depending on weather. We also frequent the dog park, which is the thing I most look forward to every week! I work pretty much full time at a professional theater, so my availability is week days during the morning/afternoon. I’m also around Monday and Tuesday nights. My dogs get plenty of love, affection and exercise. Since they are beagles, they get a bit clingy, so I try to be receptive to their needs! We play outside (in our fenced in yard), they have plenty of toys and then we try to finish off the day with a long walk.

About: Hello! I’m new to Rover and would love to have the chance to care for your pets! I have grown up with dogs my whole life, mostly small (i love big dogs too!) and a variety of breeds! I’ve also had experience with dogs of all ages from puppies to senior so I understand the demands of all stages of life. I also have experience training basic commands. I am currently working full time so my availability is weekday evenings after 5:30 pm, weekends (all day), and Mondays late afternoon-evening after 3 pm I have a fenced in yard with a lot of room for your dog to run around! I have a mini poodle who would never hurt a fly, he’s getting old but still a puppy at heart. He is very friendly and will keep your dog company! With a crate provided, there is room to set that up as well.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, including my two childhood dogs and I’ve babysat and watched other families dogs for 10 years now during highschool and college. I am now a physician assistant and have a rotating schedule that allows me to be home during the week. I am on both Wag and Rover. I have a rotating schedule and am home most days of the week, and able to spend a lot of time with the doggies. I eventually want to get my own again! I have a really nice neighborhood to walk the dogs around, my friend also does rover who lives next door! There’s a ton of parks to play fetch and run around with them as well if that’s something you’d be interested in.

I would recommend Madison as a pet sitter to anybody and I can’t wait till my next trip because I will be requesting if she is free for her to watch my kittens again! She took wonderful care of them. She bought in a box for me that was delivered. I didn’t even know it was going to come and she had no problem with that she showed up on time stayed as long as she was supposed to played with the cat.
