“I highly recommend Caroline as a pet sitter. She took care of our three kitties while we were away. She spent the entire 30 min that we booked her for each day. She followed all our instructions carefully. She also kept everything neat and clean. She gave plenty of attention to the kitties that love it and made sure not to bug our one kitty who is shy around strangers. She sent us daily updates with photos. Will definitely book her again.”

About: I am a graduate of a veterinary technician school preparing to take my licensing exam and have experience within the pet retail industry. I have been around pets all my life. I am a veterinary assistant who is available to provide dog walking and drop-in visits while not working. I am working on obtaining my veterinary technician license. I have a dog myself and will use my knowledge from school and the pet industry to give loving drop-in visits and walks to your pet.
About: I know how much dogs mean to owners since I have owned dogs most of my life. I have glowing references for you to contact to give you the peace of mind you need to hire a sitter! I will be able to adhere to the schedule given and will always show up on time and ready to take care of your dog/dogs and make sure they are happy and comfortable. I will always take direction for the rules you currently have in place for your dog in your home and while we are on walks. I know how important this is to keep a dog in their routine especially when you are not there.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have been caring for them most of my life, so being attentive to their needs comes naturally to me. I treat every pet like they’re my own; making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and pay close attention to routines, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or just giving them the extra affection they’re used to. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and check-ins for peace of mind. I’m especially patient with shy or anxious dogs and take the time to help them feel at ease. My fiancé, Eric has also always grown up with dogs and was responsible for taking care of dogs and his cat while growing up and they all lived will into their senior years. He is great with more high energy and active dogs, going on long walks, or runs and hikes with them. I work full time where I commute Monday-Friday. Weekends I’m home. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
About: Hello, my name is Anna, and I’m a dedicated and experienced dog caregiver with a lifelong passion for animals. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of owning and caring for three wonderful dogs—a Bichon Frise, a Lab mix, and a Pitbull—each of whom taught me something unique about loyalty, love, and responsibility. My Experience I have hands-on experience managing all aspects of dog ownership, including training, daily walks, vet appointments, and all related care expenses. I'm comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes and am confident handling multiple dogs at once. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a gentle senior, I tailor my care to each dog’s individual needs. In my home, pets stay in a safe, clean, and loving environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I follow their usual routine to help them feel at ease. “First off, this was my first time using this app/service and was nervous hoping to find someone who would treat our dog like their own. Madison was absolutely fantastic. We met her a day before and our dog took an immediate liking to her. Right away we felt a sense of comfort knowing our dog would be in good hands. The following day Madison checked on Kygo (our dog) throughout the day and communicated with us each visit. She gave us a detailed report on her visit and ample photos of our dog playing and happy. It is such a great feeling knowing there are responsible and caring people who can give you peace of mind when leaving your dog home for the day. I HIGHLY recommend Madison to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter. She was fantastic and we will 100000% be using her in the future. Oh, and she took in packages for us… going above and beyond! Thank you Madison!”

So thankful to have found Theresa!!!! I was so stressed to leave for a work trip and worried about my puppy being home by herself for most of the day, but Theresa eased all my anxieties. Our pup Dotty loved her from the moment she met her and we knew she was in great hands. She provided updates and pictures which I loved seeing while I’m away :) I would highly recommend - we will be repeat customers! :)

Vanessa is fabulous ! Comfortable with a larger dog , knowledgeable about breeds and dog care in general! She easily recognized all my dog's "language" and had him playing and earning a bell rub with in no time ! Vanessa let the dog out and fed him and all was tidied up when she left and my pup was exercised and content to go to sleep ! Our experience was terrific .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
