About: I can still cry when I tell someone the story of when I got my first dog at 13yrs old. I held that adorable golden retriever pup and cried asking if it was really mine! The story of bringing another golden retriever into the lives of my daughters can yet again bring me to tears! Such precious memories! I am now on my second chocolate lab (easier hair drying time lol). Anyway a dog enters my life it is always special. That includes my daughter's cockapoo who has stolen my heart! Whenever I am out and see a dog, no matter what the breed, I always ask to say hello and give a pet! My family and friends sometimes call me the "Dog whisperer" because I am always ready to help should a question arise about care. I have cared for friends and family dogs many times and am ready to help with yours and create a special bond while doing so! I'm currently working in a school. Therefore, my availability during the week is limited. I am available for pop ins and walks after 4pm. Saturday and Sunday I have more availability and during the summer months. When she came to meet us and our cats, she asked thorough questions and took notes to make sure she did everything as we wanted it. She even offered to take in our mail and asked if there was anything else we needed her to do while we were away. She texted every day with detailed updates about how they were doing, how much they had eaten, if they had played or what they were up to while she was there, etc. and sent some photos each day. About: Former cat owner and enthusiast! From my childhood tabby cat Copper, to my foster kitten Betty Boop. Both felines required a lot of attention and care. Copper had anxiety due to mistreatment from a previous owner. He needed a lot of love and care to come out of his shell! Betty had been found on the street, in the cold and very underweight. She was later diagnosed with Parvo, requiring regular doses of medicine. I worked hard to ensure she was fed, warm, entertained and medicated. And of course — all the cuddles and playtime are included, free of charge! ⭐ Please Note: I may occasionally have my five-year-old daughter with me for overnight stays. About: Neighbors and family have relied on me to care for their pets, including elderly and special needs animals, as well as exotic reptiles and birds, many times. I’m a part-time student in eco-toxicology at this time studying online so I’m around full time for pet care, feel free to reach out for care any day of the week! I am fully vaccinated! My home is full of people and pets so I don’t typically do boarding unless I know you and your pet well. I am happy to water plants if needed as well! Please keep in mind that my partner joins me for house sitting bookings. We have two cats together and he is also certified by Rover :)
