Keira spent a hour moving half of my furniture so she could pull back my rug and dry every part of my apartment, and then put everything back where it was. About: My background in canine care began at the Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center in Huntington, NY in 2008. I was employed there for several years as a dog walker and socializer, working with a wide variety of dogs and puppies from many different walks of life. All of the dogs were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with exercise, playtime, feeding, and even medication distribution. After working at the shelter, I found myself at a few local grooming parlors, working as a bather. As you've probably experienced, most dogs do not love being bathed and groomed, and so I would try my very best to make them comfortable in the unfamiliar situation they were in, taking the time to check in on them frequently and give them lots of reassurance and loving. Patience goes a long way! In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house and pet sitting job. However, since then I've been working a full time office job and have been unable to enjoy much time with canine companions. I will regularly pet sit for close friends and family, but I'm ready to spend more time around furry friends! I'd love to meet you and your pup and ensure that they're properly taken care of and loved while you're out on the weekend, working, or away on vacation! I'm currently working part-time, with a very flexible schedule, so there's a good chance I'll be able to accommodate your scheduling needs! Reach out to me with any questions. About: I've grown up with German Shepherds and was always around my cousin's golden doodles. I have a natural & instant rapport with dogs. I've cared for my cousin's dog while they were away for two weeks in Europe. One of my favorite things to do is to walk my dog on the beach & watch her have the time of her life! I am available for drop in visits & dog walks. I am in grad school and attend class remotely every other week, so I am pretty much available at any time of day. I am available to care for pets in my client's homes. In regard to what my visit routine looks like when I've cared for my friend's dogs: I let the pup out to go to the bathroom, feed the pup and give water, and then go for a walk. Of course, depending upon the instructions my client gives me, I act accordingly.

I can easily crate your dog if needed or if your furry pal needs some time alone I have plenty of space within my home that they are allowed to freely roam. Sometimes this is needed from first meetings because, not unlike people, dogs may take time to get acclimated to one another. I do require a first meet before agreeing to take on new clients for the safety of myself, Molly and my home.

About: Caring for pets is my full-time focus, so my schedule is flexible and I’m available whenever your pet needs me. I love long walks, so your pup will get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and time to sniff around. I also have two dogs of my own, Koa (a Lab/Terrier mix) and Lilo (a Pitbull), so I’m used to a house that runs on walk schedules and dinner bowls. Pet care is my full-time focus. About: I’ve been pet sitting for 4 years. Most of my experiences are with dogs and cats. I’ve also taken care of fish, reptiles and i’ve volunteered at a rabbit rehab a few times! I can accommodate to disabilities and give any medication your fur baby needs to stay healthy! I have experience with giving pills, liquid medication and eyedrops to dogs. I have a puppy of my own so I understand how hard it is to leave them, I will send multiple updates a day along with pictures so you know your pets are safe and happy! Some animals may get experience negative feelings while their family’s gone. I like to learn the animals schedule (feeding times, potty breaks, playtime, walk time, etc) so I can recreate the same schedule they’re used to as best as I can, hoping your pet has stability and some normalcy. I pet sit full time, so i’ll have plenty of time to give your fur babies the love and care they need. I’m unable to pet sit in my own home, but I can house sit, or do 1 hour drop ins once, or multiple times a day to feed, walk and to give them love and attention. I can also do last minute bookings! I will greet your fur babies with pets and kisses when I see them. I can walk them or throw balls around for them outside if they have lots of energy. If you have a senior pet I will be more than happy just to let them do their business outside and give them lots of love, cuddles and treats!

About: I grew up with 5 dogs at home and are comfortable with all breeds. I have a fenced in yard and walking path for great exercise. I have been pet sitting for over 15 years! I can handle anything from birds to bunnies and more! I’ll send you daily updates as well as photos. I am comfortable hosting or coming to you. In my home all pets are allowed in furniture and beds. I don’t mind sleeping over if that’s what your fur baby is comfortable with!

From furry, to scaly, to feathery, you name it, I love them. About: I have been a dog walker for my neighbor for 5 years. I have experienced in pet sitting small and big dogs, as well as puppies and senior dogs. In my free time I walk senior dogs from a shelter. Over these years and with all my experiences, I have learned dog expressions and warning signs which help me to prevent dogs from any triggering behavior. I’m am a college student and work a weekend job. During the week after classes I have free time to dog walk. I keep my calendar updated regularly for any days where I might not be available throughout the week. I live in an apartment, which is why I choose only small to medium sized dogs to board. I have a large yard that is fenced except for the driveway entrance, for your pets safety I only take dogs into the yard with a leash and as always constant supervision.

About: I have trained a Rottweiler mixed with pitbull since she was a puppy. She is now a beautiful, strong and very smart adult dog now. I am good with all ages as well as all sizes. My house is fully stocked with treats, food, and two crates available if your pet needs quiet time or structured rests.
