“Fantastic care for unusual animals. Amanda was so diligent with the feeding needs of my turtle. She even volunteered a lettuce leaf as a snack. She took great care of the fish without overfeeding and provided medical care for one of them. Then she very kindly agreed to water my plants. Pictures and videos everyday. Lots of communication. I will absolutely use her again and you should too. If she does this well with a turtle, imagine how great you'll be with your cats and dogs.”

I work as a childcare professional with a flexible rotating schedule. I typically work 3 shifts per week (8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am) and I receive my schedule two weeks in advance, allowing me to plan pet visits and walks easily for clients who book at least a week ahead. However, clients are always welcome to reach out for last-minute bookings- I/s happy to help when my schedule allows it😎🐶 I live in the middle of a quite cul-de-sac neighborhood. It is a safe serene street that would allow me to social your dog with the friendly neighbors and their pets as well. I live in a two story house with a fenced in backyard and a big front lawn that i play with my dogs in- Hopefully I can share the same fun with your pets too! There is very little traffic that comes through and cars always drive very slowly due to the high volume families with children and pets. I live with my wife, 7 year old son, and my two parents who have two dogs of their own. We are all life long pet owners and treat them the same as any person who lives here........who am i kidding, our pets are treated like royalty in this household and they know it!🤣🐶🐱🐰🐭❤️

About: I have grown up with different dogs my entire life. My best friend was a Rottweiler named Sampson and I had him from a pup. I create trained him as well as click trained him to become a good citizen. I have experience with large breeds as well as small. I have cared my many fur babies in this own homes, keeping them happy with conversation, brushing, play time and long walks. I feel that all breeds deserve love regardless of the negativity they may get from others who don't understand the breed.  - Your furry buddy must be fully housebroken, neutered/spayed, and provide proof of rabies vaccination. – Cleanliness is important. BOARDING WITH ME I will always try to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs. And my aim will always be to give your pawsome girl or boy all the love and care needed. I have a private, fully fenced dog run at my building complex for your dog to run around in and a comfy home for your dog to relax in! Between walks/playtime, tummy rubs and selfies, it’s going to be a blast!

About: I had a cat when I was young which I took care of. Along with the cat, I’ve had various beta fish each living beyond expected life spans. When I was 17-19, I took care of my neighbor’s cat while they were on vacation. I’ve also helped take care of my grandmother’s dog for the past 5 years. I take her for walks and play with her. For the past few months, I’ve been volunteering at an animal shelter where my job is to clean the cat rooms and walk the dogs there. I’m currently a full time college student, but I will be available for breaks and over the summer. During breaks, I’m available anytime during the week depending on what days I’m home. During the summer, I have more open availability with any day being free depending on my internship. I’m very gentile whenever I work with animals, especially pets. I make sure an animal feels comfortable around me before getting them to do something. I build trust in the animal so that I can get them into a crate easily.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I lived with two tuxedo cats who completely stole my heart. As I got older, I took on many of their daily care responsibilities, including feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, and making sure they felt loved and comfortable. Today, my wife and I are proud pet parents to two black cats. In addition to caring for cats, I have experience watching a toy poodle puppy under one year old. My responsibilities have included taking her outside for regular bathroom breaks, supervising walks, engaging her in play and exercise, teaching basic tricks and commands, reinforcing good behavior, and helping her work through separation anxiety. Caring for a young puppy taught me the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, patience, and attentiveness to a pet's individual needs. Whether caring for cats or dogs, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment where pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, and I strive to give each pet the same level of attention and affection that I would want for my own. i work part time in the mornings and am available most days after 1pm. I am a doctoral student at Stony Brook University, so I am flexible to watch your pup or kitty any time in the afternoons/evenings. If needed, I can do an early morning stop by at 6:30AM prior to heading to work. in my clients home, I will be respectful of property, taking off shoes before entering the house, cleaning up any messes that the animal/myself may create, ensuring the animal has food, water, litter box, toys, etc. accessible, and to lock up the house, windows, and any gates prior to leaving the home. I will always accommodate the clients requests. In my home, I have multiple floors to separate my animals from the animal(s) coming into my home. I also have a fully fenced in, large backyard for a dog to run around in. We have a home security system as well to ensure safety.
