About: I have a B.S. in animal science with the goal of going to veterinary school. I have experience as a vet assistant in a small animal hospital, as well as a variety of animal experiences. I was a part of a college club training future guiding eyes for the blind dogs, where I also became a certified sitter for Guiding Eyes for the blind. I owned and cared for a Shih Tzu for 15 years and have watched friends' and family's dogs. I'm currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to walk and play with your dogs! I'm available all day on weekends and on Wednesdays. I am currently available on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 11:30 am. Your pet will be well supervised with plenty of affection. I have a bachelor's degree in animal science and experience as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with different needs, personalities, and medical routines.

I have raised puppies, cared for senior cats and dogs, administered medicines, owned many small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils) and even raised a puppy for the Guide Dog Foundation. I love all animals and will feed any stray that comes to my door as well! I will care for and treat your pets as if they were my own. I work from home so I am available to take care of your babies while you are at work, out of the house or away on vacation I have a large fenced in yard, I love to go on walks and am responsible and respectful when in other peoples homes. I’ve taken care of a number pets throughout my life. I grew up with small terriers and had fish too. Friends animals were always like my own. I adopted my beloved cat Calvin when I was 21 and in December 2022, 11 years later, he passed away leaving a hole in my heart. He had many health problems such as asthma and IBS, for which he was on several daily medications. This taught me to administer oral medication in pill pockets and use an inhaler attachment for him. I miss being around animals in general now that he’s been gone. I am looking so much forward to being able to provide boarding in my lakeside home. At this time, I’m not able to offer housesitting, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks! Kindly note: * if your dog has a history of aggression towards people or has indoor accidents frequently I will not be able to host them. *Experience with breeds such as greyhounds, who may need a more quiet atmosphere I am available consistently at the moment as I run a part time home business. 24 hour consistent time with your pet is ensured. If they wish they can also sleep in the bedroom/bed. The fenced yard is big enough to run around supervised and also has tiered retaining walls. I also have a separate area for a cat(s) and a walk in closet style litter box “room”. I have plenty of toys, treats and catnip. At this time, I’m not able to offer boarding, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks!
