About: If you require a morning walker or need someone to run a few miles with your energetic dog, I am your person. I have experience with various types and sizes of pets. I am also very meticulous about their needs and yours. Please let me know their preferences and behaviors so I can best meet their needs. As a student my schedule varies but it I am typically available for morning and afternoon services such as walks and check-ins. I could also accommodate afternoons services depending on the week and request. My weekends are typically free unless specified otherwise. Available to do dog sitting on weekends (Friday, Saturday) but message me directly for my weekday availability. If you are requesting drop-in services at your house, please let me know what your pet requires. I can offer play time, refill water and food, medication administration, brushing, and complete certain household tasks. Occasionally, if I do overday dogsitting, your dog will have a fenced-in backyard to run around in.

While Watching (At Home or Elsewhere): Feeding the dog on schedule with the proper food and portions. Making sure fresh water is always available. Giving love, attention, and mental stimulation through toys or interaction. Keeping the dog safe and comfortable in their environment. Following any specific care instructions from the owner. Monitoring health or unusual behavior and alerting the owner if needed. Administering medication if required. Maintaining a clean living area (picking up messes, washing dishes, etc.).

“Sarah was great at stopping by and caring for my two cats. I almost think to good, my cats didn't seem to miss me when I got back. Sarah sent photos and spent time with them so they didn't feel neglected. Sarah also went above and beyond by shoveling snow! It snowed while I was away and Sarah cleared the walk way and some of the driveway. Plus she also let the cats have some outdoor time in the snow (they are indoor/outdoor cats so it was good that they got some outdoor time while I was away so things seemed normal).”

“Fantastic care for unusual animals. Amanda was so diligent with the feeding needs of my turtle. She even volunteered a lettuce leaf as a snack. She took great care of the fish without overfeeding and provided medical care for one of them. Then she very kindly agreed to water my plants. Pictures and videos everyday. Lots of communication. I will absolutely use her again and you should too. If she does this well with a turtle, imagine how great you'll be with your cats and dogs.”

About: I've had the pleasure of caring for dogs since I was 13. I've had my own dogs, as well as caring for and watching many friends' and neighbors' dogs overnight. I simply adore dogs and I believe they can sense it. I'm very patient, calm, & will treat your dog with the upmost of care. I'm dedicated to dog sitting and walking! My schedule is flexible and I'm available 5 days (Sunday through Thursday in the day), and overnights Sunday through Thursday as well. I'm comfortable staying over a client's house.
