Safety, trust & environment

At this time I prefer to watch dogs and/or cats in their own home as my own pup is dealing with some health issues (seizures, arthritis) and I want to avoid any overstimulation for him. However, I am available and more than happy to stop over to your home to care for your pets or housesit/overnight stays if that is more comfortable for you and your pets! I am also available for dog walking and have experience with pets with special needs such as health conditions that require special accommodation's and/or medication regimens! Feel free to reach out with any and all questions, ultimately I want you to be able to rest assured that your pet is getting the best care and will do whatever I can to ensure you and your pet have the best experience with me! :)

Information Taylor S. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know ahead of time if your pet requires any medication or supplement administration, how often, and how it is to be administered. Likewise, if your pet has any other special health circumstances aside from medicine that I may need to assist them with or even just that I should keep an eye out for (i.e., physical conditions, requires assistance ambulating or getting up/down/on/off furniture, any disorders to know of such as seizures, balance issues, digestive/GI issues, allergies, separation anxiety or behavioral difficulties, etc). Emergency contacts for their vets and/or trusted family or friends who could assist if needed would also be very helpful! And finally, it always helps to know of any unique quirks your pet may have that may likely be helpful to know while I'm watching them, such as places they like or dislike or to avoid on walks (my own pup goes crazy when a bike passes us on walks!), any of their general favorite things or their dislikes, and any tips or tricks you find helpful in certain scenarios if they need calming down, redirecting, or soothing! The more info you can give me on your baby, the better! Thanks!! :)

A typical day

I am well prepared to follow your pups routine so their time apart from you can be as smooth as possible and minimize any stress for them! I typically provide morning feedings and any walking or playtime needed in the morning hours, and during weekdays I do work in-person at my office from 9:30AM to 5:30pm, so I would need to leave for a few hours but depending on the location/distance of your pet to my jobs location I typically can manage to stop in to check on them again on my lunch hour midday and then would return to them after 5:30pm for feeding, walks, playtime and cuddles! My own pup tends to be more high-energy so I totally understand the amount of mental and physical stimulation some pups may need and am happy to do as much or as little exercising/playtime with them that you feel they need! And for lower energy pets I'm also happy to spend quiet time with them lounging and cuddling in whatever ways they need! It is so so rewarding for me to meet and spend time with new pets and I enjoy this line of work so much so please let me know whatever it is that you and your pups and/or kitty's need from me and I will be sure to make it happen! :)

Pet care experience

I have had dogs all my life growing up and currently am the proud dog mama of a 9 year old rough collie named Zeus! For years my family, friends, landlords, employers, and friends of friends have entrusted me with petsitting for their little dogs and cats and it’s something I truly enjoy doing so so much! I know firsthand how worrisome it can be to have to be away from your pet and what a huge relief it can be knowing they’re in great hands with a great sitter, so this is something I always strive to provide in my petsitting services!

my goodness I cannot recommend Taylor enough. She was amazing with pup and just so sweet! She kept me updated during each visit with texts and photos, which was such a relief. Not only was she fantastic with caring for my dog (who is large and can be hard to handle) but she even brought him special turkey treats for thanksgiving 🥹 Having someone who I can actually trust to watch my dog is so important to me and i can absolutely trust taylor. She really treated my dog like he was her own baby, I can’t recommend her enough!!!

Taylor is amazing!! My dog absolutely adores her, I can’t recommend her enough. She’s incredibly responsible, attentive, and truly loving with my dog as if it were her own. Every time she babysits my pup is happy, calm, and well cared for! It’s such a relief having someone I trust completely to stay at my home and take great care of my puppy!

My dog is like my child and I have had Taylor watch her, without hesitation, numerous times. Taylor has her own dog with medical needs that she cares for with her whole heart and she brings that same level of love to every pet she cares for. She’s a true doggy momma and I would recommend her, hands down, any day.

Taylor is one of the kindest, most caring individuals and one of the only people I trust to watch my pets. My small, skittish dog who is normally apprehensive towards people adores Taylor. Whenever I have asked her to watch my pets, she has been incredibly communicative and responsive. Even though she is a close friend, she still has been tremendously professional and responsible whenever I have asked for her help with my pets, housesitting, plant watering, or whatever it may be. Taylor has one of the warmest hearts and loves animals more than almost anyone I know. I think she loves my dogs just as much as I do! I have no doubt that she will continue to care for other animals as if they were her own, as I have experienced her do countless times before.
