About: I have 2.5 years of experience working as a veterinarian assistant for a family-owned and operated animal hospital. Aspects of my job include restraining, handling, medicating, feeding, grooming, bathing, and caring for any pets who may board with us at the hospital. I have comfortably handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, needs, and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all life stages. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am never away from home for more than four hours any day of the week, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, playtime, and feedings. I have a fully enclosed, insulated, temperature controlled, spacious gazebo on my property surrounded by a pet-proof fenced-in playpen. The inside is divided into four sections, so I can board up to four dogs no bigger than 40lbs at one time, and each pet will have his or her own space indoors for eating and sleeping. Outside, the pets will be able to interact and play, and they will always be supervised.

She is a very caring person and you can tell she loves dogs. JoJo was a little apprehensive at first, but Maria made her feel comfortable and treated her well. It's a relief she only takes one animal at a time since our dog doesn't like other dogs. At the meet and greet, Sarah asked many questions to get a feel for Milo (eating & bathroom habits, walking, sleeping habits etc...) To start, her home is absolutely immaculate. I received a daily update with pictures on how our dog was adjusting & doing overall. Milo was displaying some quirky behaviors which Sarah reported right away & thought was cute/funny. She was very accepting, flexible in many ways, and an absolute delight to talk with. It is apparent she is a dog lover! Upon pick up, Milo was happy and all his belongings were packed & ready to go.
