They welcomed her right away and even allowed her to pet them. The biggest surprise was Brown Bear, who is usually very sensitive to touch and doesn't warm up to people easily. Seeing him feel so comfortable with her says everything about her gentle nature. It's clear she genuinely loves animals, and they know it. My cats were so well cared for, and I know they'll miss seeing her.
