About: I have 2.5 years of experience working as a veterinarian assistant for a family-owned and operated animal hospital. Aspects of my job include restraining, handling, medicating, feeding, grooming, bathing, and caring for any pets who may board with us at the hospital. I have comfortably handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, needs, and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all life stages. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am never away from home for more than four hours any day of the week, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, playtime, and feedings. I have a fully enclosed, insulated, temperature controlled, spacious gazebo on my property surrounded by a pet-proof fenced-in playpen. The inside is divided into four sections, so I can board up to four dogs no bigger than 40lbs at one time, and each pet will have his or her own space indoors for eating and sleeping. Outside, the pets will be able to interact and play, and they will always be supervised.

About: Growing up, I lived with two tuxedo cats who completely stole my heart. As I got older, I took on many of their daily care responsibilities, including feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, and giving them plenty of love and attention. Today, I have two black cats who are the most precious year-old brothers. When my wife and I adopted them, they were extremely ill with ringworm, roundworms, and what felt like a never-ending series of upper respiratory infections. About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. I live in a first-floor condo apartment in a neighborhood with lots of green areas — perfect for dogs who love quick potty breaks and longer sniffing walks. I let dogs free roam throughout my home and they're absolutely allowed on furniture. I treat every dog as if they were my own, which means lots of freedom, comfort, and attention. Since I do this part-time, I never have more than two unfamiliar dogs at once, so each dog gets a calm, focused environment. Our checklist of amenities include: - private couch/futon for lounging - clean fresh water bowls 24/7 - several breaks for play time outside - 24 hour recorded camera monitoring in - secured locked doors -AC and/or heat & fans with temp alerts - TV and ALEXA/echo music - fenced secure yard - easily cleaned floors **rates are for 24 hour periods. After 24 hours, it’s $10 an hour. - puppies and tiny dogs may stay in smaller secure area or my be bought in our home. -LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION ❤️ When taking care of dogs, it's important to provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Here are some fun activities I can do with the dogs I watch: Walking is a great way to provide dogs with exercise and mental stimulation. I Choose different routes and places to walk, such as a local park, beach, or hiking trail. Most dogs love playing fetch. I can take your dog or dogs with your permission to a fenced dog's park and play a game of fetch with a ball or frisbee. Dogs love to play with toys, such as squeaky toys or tug ropes.

I worked at New York’s Best Pets on Dyckman 200 Street before it burned down unfortunately and there I took care of feeding, grooming and playing with the pets as well as customer service. I’ve taken care of many dogs in the past, from walking to dog sitting. I have given prescribed medicine to dogs when they needed it and have trimmed their hair when asked to, as well as given them a full shower and a good groom. I live next to Raynor Beach Country Park and I love going out for walks and runs so you know your dogs will always have a good time and stay fit! I’ve been taking care of pets most of my life and I want to give pets the best experience they’ve ever had. I’m athletic so I have plenty of energy to burn. With me, I can guarantee your pets will have a great time and you’ll be satisfied with how they’ve been taken care of!
