“I left my 4 year old boxer Zeus with Donna for 8 days. It was winter recess & the first time we left him with someone he was not overly familiar with. Donna was friendly and responsive to my text messages so we set up a greet and meet to visit her in person. I noticed she was extremely knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior. I felt Zeus would be in very good hands after our meet and greet and locked the date in. Donna let me know she had a few other dogs she was also watching that week, but knew with her knowledge he would be fine and perhaps beneficial since Zeus loves playing with other dogs. After a week long play date Zeus is now tired but very content . It was nice knowing I could go away and not have to worry about my pup! I will be using Donna again in future. Thank you Donna :)”

About: I was a teacher for 4 years and therefore have a lot of patience. I have had dogs and cats in my house throughout my life and love them dearly. I have also trained puppies before. I have my own small business and am looking for something in the mornings to do. I am also getting married next year and would love some extra income to pay for the wedding I love playing with the dogs in the backyard, as well as taking them for walks if applicable with a harness and leash. “From the moment we dropped Nessa off until the time we picked her up, we were pleasantly surprised by how completely at home she felt with Marla. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. While we were attending our niece’s wedding, we kept checking our phones, fully expecting a call or text saying Nessa was crying or looking for us. That message never came—because she was apparently having the time of her life! When we returned to pick her up, Nessa was excited to show us all of her new friends. It was obvious she had been well cared for and truly enjoyed her stay. We could tell that Marla treated Nessa as if she were one of her own, and there is no greater compliment we could give. We only wish Marla lived in Connecticut instead of New York. About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. The couch is all theirs too! When we created our private doggie suite, I was thinking of all the things I would want our dogs to have if we were away. Our checklist of amenities include: - private couch/futon for lounging - clean fresh water bowls 24/7 - several breaks for play time outside - 24 hour recorded camera monitoring in - secured locked doors -AC and/or heat & fans with temp alerts - TV and ALEXA/echo music - fenced secure yard - easily cleaned floors **rates are for 24 hour periods. After 24 hours, it’s $10 an hour. - puppies and tiny dogs may stay in smaller secure area or my be bought in our home. -LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION ❤️ When taking care of dogs, it's important to provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Here are some fun activities I can do with the dogs I watch: Walking is a great way to provide dogs with exercise and mental stimulation. I Choose different routes and places to walk, such as a local park, beach, or hiking trail. Most dogs love playing fetch. I can take your dog or dogs with your permission to a fenced dog's park and play a game of fetch with a ball or frisbee. Dogs love to play with toys, such as squeaky toys or tug ropes.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs (and other animals!) for many years. Family, friends, and co-workers have relied on me to watch and care for their pets whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, even taking them to the vet. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, from senior bull mastiffs to pugs under a year old. There is no dog too big or too small because they’re all perfect to me. I’ve also found lost dogs and helped them return to their owners! I have experience caring for anxious dogs, blind dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with mobility issues, and dogs that require medication. Other animals I’ve taken care of include: cats, parrots, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and hamsters. Pets are so precious, they’re such an important source of joy in their family’s lives so it’s such a privilege to be trusted with their care!! :) Pet sitting is currently my full time job, so I have lots of time to give your animals the special care and attention they deserve! I have a fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs to run around in. I also have a car so I’m able to take dogs to the dog park or dog beaches nearby (if that’s something they would enjoy). At a client’s house I still follow any guidance/schedule given to me. In between I typically take the dog’s lead. I’m at their house so it’s important to me that I respect their space (and the clients above all)! I like to take their cues to make sure that their sense of routine isn’t disrupted.

About: I was a teacher for 4 years and therefore have a lot of patience. I have had dogs and cats in my house throughout my life and love them dearly. I have also trained puppies before. I have my own small business and am looking for something in the mornings to do. I am also getting married next year and would love some extra income to pay for the wedding I love playing with the dogs in the backyard, as well as taking them for walks if applicable with a harness and leash. My day revolves around your baby 🥰 • Your dog can be outside as often as they wish (and you allow), whether it’s sniffing in the yard, playing fetch or tug of war, or going on walks • Your dog will be able to go in/out of the house for potty breaks, playtime, or rest any time they like • I always supervise dogs in the backyard at all times, on top of having a full fence, so you never need to worry about your dog eating something unsafe, or pulling a “Houdini” if they have escape artist tendencies 😂 🐕 I have a large, fully-fenced yard filled with toys, interesting smells, and plenty of squirrel and bird watching! 🐕 If your dog enjoys walks or trips to the park, I live on a beautiful and safe low-traffic block and have several dog-friendly parks nearby that we can visit during your pup’s stay, with your permission. 🐕 My dog, Pearl, a 2-year-old mixed breed medium-sized girl, will be overjoyed to keep your pup company, share her many toys, and play play play! She is also happy (and trained) to give your dog space if that is the pup’s preference - I have enough space in my home that dogs can relax separately from one another if they prefer that. 🐕 No need to bring your dog’s bed, we have plenty! The couch is all theirs too! I can also gate off rooms and/or crate your dog at any time if that is what you or your dog needs or prefers. 🐕 A safe environment for your dog is maintained here at all times and is of the utmost importance‼️: —dogs are never left unsupervised —my home is free of choking hazards —play with toys & with other dogs is always carefully monitored —I do not keep any items in the home that are dangerous for a dog to ingest (xylitol, poisonous plants, etc.)
About: I genuinely love spending time with dogs and would love to give your pup some extra exercise, attention, and companionship when you can’t be there. I’m available weekdays after 5:00 PM and on weekends, making me a great option for evening walks, weekend outings, and drop-in visits. About: All my life I have taken care of animals big and small. Special care or simple care they will be loved and safe with me. I work a hybrid job, from home Monday and Friday office tues-Thurs. all fur babies baby will love the attention and affection they will get. In my home they will have a safe room to sleep or stay in if they want quiet or they can mingle around the house. In your home I would follow your instructions as to where they are allowed to be. At my home our yard is only fenced on 3 sides while it is a large space they would be on a lead at all times.
About: For the majority of my life, I have always had a dog in my possession! So I have always known how far my love and care for animals goes. I have watched my family’s dogs when they went on vacation and I’ve also walked a couple of dogs in my neighborhood. Now, my love and care for animals goes beyond measure. They are family, and should be treated as such! Which is why I plan on making sure I would treat your pets the same way you would if you were there! I will always plan to go above and beyond for your pets. I am not someone who does the bare minimum when it comes to taking care of animals. I love what I do and I have the passion for it. So I plan to do whatever I can to make sure that your pets are treated with the amount of love and care they deserve. I currently have 2 jobs, so I would just have to work with my schedule on what I can do! But it is something I am more than happy to do! Due to my living situation, I am unable to dog sit at my house. However, I would be able to find ways of travel to your home. I would make sure I was there with them for as long as you need, if not more! Plus I wouldn’t mind help getting a couple house things done while there if you needed. Just give me a list of what you want done and how you want it done and I know I’ll be able to help! I also can walk dogs if needed.
About: Animal lover since the day I was born! I have a 5 year old cat named Lilly who is extremely friendly with other pets so I can bring pets to my house. I worked at New York’s Best Pets on Dyckman 200 Street before it burned down unfortunately and there I took care of feeding, grooming and playing with the pets as well as customer service. I’ve taken care of many dogs in the past, from walking to dog sitting. I have given prescribed medicine to dogs when they needed it and have trimmed their hair when asked to, as well as given them a full shower and a good groom. I live next to Raynor Beach Country Park and I love going out for walks and runs so you know your dogs will always have a good time and stay fit! I’ve been taking care of pets most of my life and I want to give pets the best experience they’ve ever had. I’m athletic so I have plenty of energy to burn.
