“Kimberly did an amazing job with our cat. In the past he has been shy around new people but he seemed to take to Kimberly immediately, the pictures shared made it look like he was treating her the same why he interacts with us, curling up next to her and requesting to be petted. We appreciated the constant communication on how he was doing giving us peace of mind and letting us enjoy our trip rather than spend it worrying about the cat.”

“Sam took great care of my cat Elsa while I was away. She gave her the medicine she needed and made sure she ate. Her litter box was clean and I enjoyed the pictures of Elsa every day.”

About: If you require a morning walker or need someone to run a few miles with your energetic dog, I am your person. I have experience with various types and sizes of pets. I am also very meticulous about their needs and yours. Please let me know their preferences and behaviors so I can best meet their needs. As a student my schedule varies but it I am typically available for morning and afternoon services such as walks and check-ins. I could also accommodate afternoons services depending on the week and request. My weekends are typically free unless specified otherwise. Available to do overday dog sitting on weekends (Friday, Saturday) If you are requesting drop-in services at your house, please let me know what your pet requires. I can offer play time, refill water and food, medication administration, brushing, and complete certain household tasks. Occasionally, if I do overday dog-sitting, your dog will have a fenced-in backyard to run around in.
“Julia did an amazing job with watching and taking care of my cat! Plenty of photos were always provided and I knew he was in good hands! I definitely recommend her and will be my first choice in the future for a cat sitter.”

About: Growing up, we always had dogs in our home!! I have been dog-sitting my whole life and know the intricacies of caring for different pups and kitties. As a sitter, it is my responsibility to make shy, nervous animals feel safe and bold, confident animals feel loved! As a runner, I’ll be happy to provide your high energy dogs with lots of enrichment as well. I, myself, have also had a cat for 4 years and love it to the moon and back! I have a very flexible schedule and typically, have completely free weekends. Mornings and evenings are open for walks, runs or pet-sitting and can adjust my schedule for mid-day visits. With my care, pet-sitting is more than providing basic necessities. It is being patient with quieter animals, while providing adequate enrichment to high energy ones. It means being mindful of your feeding, walking, playing schedule and adapting to it so your pet feels as comfortable as possible. It means treating your pet, AND home with respect. And most importantly, it means always keeping you (the pet owner) in the loop, no matter what!!
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was about 11, so being around dogs(cats as well!) has always felt very natural to me. My uncle is a veterinarian, and I’ve had chances to help him out, which taught me a lot about what dogs should and shouldn’t eat, how to read their behavior, and how to care for them properly. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters when I could, and I’m always open to helping more when the opportunity arises. My friends and colleagues often trust me with their pets because I treat them with passionate love. I’m a patient, gentle, and loving companion for animals—not just watching them, but keeping them happy, calm, and loved. I’m also very active due to my sports background and have done part-time dog walking in New Jersey, so I’m more than happy to go on long walks or runs with energetic dogs while still being careful and attentive to their needs:) I'm currently on winter break, so I will have plenty of time to fit into my daily routine! Early notice (at least 3 days) will be fantastic to set or fit into my daily schedule. Still, if there is a sudden notice for a walk, I could accompany anytime, as I walk every day as part of my daily workout, so it comes naturally to walk the dog as each other's company! When I visited my friend's home for a short stay of 4 weeks, I regularly accompanied my friend's dog and learnt how to feed it. I regularly carried out these tasks in a timely manner. If some dogs need quiet peace, I would match their internal energy and be their company; if some dogs need energetic energy, I would quickly adapt to that vibe and do various activities (throw and catch, walk and run, play together with toys). Even a stranger's dog seems to love me very openly, and even though the dog is tense, I would gently approach without stressing the dog. People trust me more with the dogs because of my flexible schedule and my energy for them. As I care for them with all my heart and love. I once dreamt of being a vet too, due to my deep passion for animals, but now I am studying psychology and previously worked in child care, where a lot of emotional energy is sparked. This information helps you to get to know who I am!
About: I am a very active individual who will keep up with high energy dogs but also take things slow for senior dogs. I love all animals and will take care of just about any animal. I will provide plenty of attention and care. I have always owned dogs and was raised with them. I am currently the mom of 2 ten year old cats waiting for the perfect time to add a new dog into the family. I have experience raising and working with animals of all kinds. I worked as a part time dog walker and sitter in my middle and high school years. I work part time so my availability is rather open. Dogs get along with me well and I am very accommodating. I have a car that most dogs will fit in and can drive them to any of their nearby favorite places. I enjoy working with dogs and hope to meet you and your pets soon!
“Sam is amazing and highly recommend her to take care of your pets! She took care of our cat while we were away and we couldn’t be more grateful. She was super nice, professional and made us feel totally comfortable that our cat was well taken care of while we were away. Thanks Sam!”

“Patrick and Karyn were fantastic with our two dogs, Riley and Zeus! They gave them so much love and attention, and we felt completely at ease while we were away. Great communication and updates, and we came home to two very happy pups. Highly recommend!”

“Ava was incredible with our boys! She communicated with us the whole time, played with our cats a lot, and made sure to send plenty of updates while we were away. We felt very comfortable having her watch our cats for a few days, and they definitely appreciated having her spend time with them!”

About: I have pet sit other dogs prior but the one dog that sticks out is my sister’s black lab. Shakira was a black lab mutt with an auto immune disease. She needed twice daily medication and to be taken out side frequently. I work nights as a custodian for a school district ! So I’m available early to mid mornings for walks or house sitting over the weekends. As I have a cat, my number one priority for him is always making sure the doors are shut. He’s an indoor kitty and I ensure that it stays that way. Always guaranteed to have food and water and a clean litter box.
About: Recently retired and looking to keep busy! I have taken care of animals most of my life. I raised kids & we always had pets. I enjoy most spending my time outside and would love to enjoy it with a pup! I am recently retired and have lots of free time to spend with and caring for your pets! I am available week days and weekends flexibly. I will treat your pets as my own while they are in my care. I’m also happy to assist with house watching responsibilities taking in mail and watering plants.
About: My background in canine care began at the Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center in Huntington, NY in 2008. I was employed there for several years as a dog walker and socializer, working with a wide variety of dogs and puppies from many different walks of life. All of the dogs were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with exercise, playtime, feeding, and even medication distribution. After working at the shelter, I found myself at a few local grooming parlors, working as a bather. As you've probably experienced, most dogs do not love being bathed and groomed, and so I would try my very best to make them comfortable in the unfamiliar situation they were in, taking the time to check in on them frequently and give them lots of reassurance and loving. Patience goes a long way! In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house and pet sitting job. However, since then I've been working a full time office job and have been unable to enjoy much time with canine companions. I will regularly pet sit for close friends and family, but I'm ready to spend more time around furry friends! I'd love to meet you and your pup and ensure that they're properly taken care of and loved while you're out on the weekend, working, or away on vacation! I'm currently working part-time, with a very flexible schedule, so there's a good chance I'll be able to accommodate your scheduling needs! Reach out to me with any questions. I have two cats at who are cautious of other animals, so I'm happy to care for your pet in your home! I'd love to learn about your pet's routine and preferences to provide them the best care possible.
