“Julia was amazing!! We left for 10 days for our honeymoon. She took great care of my two cats exactly as I had asked. She even took out the trash and swept the litter on the floor. I truly felt like my cats were in great hands which made me enjoy my trip more. She is very responsive and understanding of your needs. I highly recommend Julia!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kathy is truly amazing, and we feel so lucky to have found her! We have four dogs, which is definitely a lot to take on, but Kathy handles them all with so much patience, care, and love. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable trusting her with not only our dogs, but our home as well. She consistently goes above and beyond what we could ever expect from a pet sitter. She is incredibly reliable, attentive, and genuinely cares about each of our dogs like they are her own. Having four dogs means four different personalities and needs, and Kathy takes the time to make sure every one of them is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. One of the best parts is the peace of mind she gives us when we’re away. We never have to worry about whether the dogs are okay or being taken care of — we know they are in wonderful hands with Kathy. That kind of trust is priceless when it comes to your pets. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, caring, trustworthy, and willing to go the extra mile, Kathy is absolutely the person you want. We cannot recommend her enough! ❤️🐾”

“Sarah was great at stopping by and caring for my two cats. I almost think to good, my cats didn't seem to miss me when I got back. Sarah sent photos and spent time with them so they didn't feel neglected. Sarah also went above and beyond by shoveling snow! It snowed while I was away and Sarah cleared the walk way and some of the driveway. Plus she also let the cats have some outdoor time in the snow (they are indoor/outdoor cats so it was good that they got some outdoor time while I was away so things seemed normal).”

“D’Andre was a big help, came through last minute for me to take care of Rex while I was away for a trip. He was very nice to Rex, attentive and even took care of doggy spill Rex had. Super communicative during the visit and I’m glad I hired him and will hire him more in the future.”

“Ava was incredible!! She was very punctual, was able to feed our boys and play with them for a while too - I would highly recommend her to others and we’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of our girls. They are so excited to see you each time you visit. Reagan shows off with her happy dance and Peaches does the same with her big tail wag. We can’t say enough about your professionalism and how well you care for our girls. They definitely love your company! Thanks again - especially with such short notice. We truly appreciate you!! ☺️☺️”

“Sam is the absolute best! I feel very comfortable leaving my dog and cat with her, and letting her into my home. She has amazing communication and sends me plenty of photos and videos during her visit! Will definitely be rebooking for any time that I’ll need her in the future”

“Samantha was reliable sitter and took good care of my cats while I was away. Very easy to communicate with and took on additional house without issue. I will be asking her for her services again.”

“Jordan was very professional and took very good care of our timid, difficult cat. We felt very comfortable leaving her in Jordan’s care. Jordan went above our expectations.”

“Sharon has been great with our 2 dogs, one is almost 2 and the other is about 12 weeks. Always lets us know when she arrives and leaves the house, how they were and sends pictures of our babies. She is extremely accommodating and kind hearted, even agreeing to go back and forth to the house twice a day to help with housebreaking the puppy. Would definitely recommend!”

“We had a meet and greet with my nervous pup and Paige was great - knew how to handle an anxious dog and helped create a low stress introduction. My dog and I look forward to working more with Paige!”

About: Hey, I’m Janelle. Some people call me Nelly. I’ve grown up around all types of dogs my whole life and love being around them. I just want to be an extra hand for anyone who needs someone reliable to watch or walk their pups.I really love being active and getting outside, so I'm always down to take your dogs out for a good walk or run to keep them entertained and get their energy out. I'm also totally happy to just hang out on the couch, brush them out, or give them some good belly rubs if they're more of a couch potato.I'll treat your dogs like they're my own. Let me know if you need any help! I’m currently working part-time and from home, so I have a flexible schedule that can work around yours if needed. I have zero responsibilities besides myself and others that I care about, and your pet can easily be another. Whether you need a midday check-in, a quick walk, or someone to hang out with them while you're at work, I have plenty of open windows to make it happen. I only watch pets at the client’s house, I don’t do any boarding at my own place. When I’m at your house, I just focus on keeping your pet’s routine exactly how they like it so they don't get stressed out. I'm always super careful about keeping doors locked and making sure no quick cats or dogs try to slip out past me. I'll follow whatever instructions you leave for food, walks, or medicine, and I’ll send you updates and pictures so you know everything is good.

“Magdalena was wonderful with my cats Glen and Ocean during her drop-in visits! She communicated very well with me and sent detailed updates. My cats loved her and were very well taken care of. I will definitely be booking Magda again.”

“Amanda was amazing with our dogs and bunny. Dogs were very comfortable with her and were very happy to see her each drop in . She was very attentive and detailed in each drop in and kept in touch throughout the whole week. I would highly recommend using her for any of your pets needs”

“I can’t recommend Madison enough. She followed all my instructions perfectly and was amazing with providing updates on my cat. I highly recommend her and will absolutely use her again.”

“Highly recommend!! Samantha was professional, experienced and kind. She took extra loving care of our kitty Layla for an entire week while administering oral medications twice daily. I am forever grateful! Thank you!!”

“This was our 2nd time booking Nicole to watch our pets, and we remain impressed!! Nicole is professional, kind, and takes great care of our 2 cats & turtle. With each visit we’d look forward to the awesome updates and photos of the pets!! Thank you again for spending time with Maple, Moose, and Fear 🐈🐈⬛🐢 :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
