About: I have 2.5 years of experience working as a veterinarian assistant for a family-owned and operated animal hospital. Aspects of my job include restraining, handling, medicating, feeding, grooming, bathing, and caring for any pets who may board with us at the hospital. I have comfortably handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, needs, and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all life stages. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am never away from home for more than four hours any day of the week, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, playtime, and feedings. I have a fully enclosed, insulated, temperature controlled, spacious gazebo on my property surrounded by a pet-proof fenced-in playpen. The inside is divided into four sections, so I can board up to four dogs no bigger than 40lbs at one time, and each pet will have his or her own space indoors for eating and sleeping. Outside, the pets will be able to interact and play, and they will always be supervised.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes since I was a kid. I’ve trained 3 dogs and am currently working on training the puppy I currently own. I am also able to take care of senior animals based on their individual needs. I work and live on campus at Stevens Institute of Technology, and my job is extremely flexible to where I can take care of my animals at any time of the day. So making sure animals are taken care of is not a problem. I live in an apartment so I walk my dogs through the city of Hoboken and am able to take them to any dog parks in the area. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. My horrendous personal experience with pet sitting has alerted me to the pitfalls of in-home pet care.

About: I have grown up with different dogs my entire life. My best friend was a Rottweiler named Sampson and I had him from a pup. I create trained him as well as click trained him to become a good citizen. I have experience with large breeds as well as small. I have cared my many fur babies in this own homes, keeping them happy with conversation, brushing, play time and long walks. I feel that all breeds deserve love regardless of the negativity they may get from others who don't understand the breed. I have owned pitbulls and have found them to be loyal and loving and don't judge any animal. I have experience training my own dogs as well as freinds and family. I'm currently working PT as a home health aid and have flexibility and free time Tuesday through Saturday to walk and hangout with your beloved fur baby. I would come to your home and watch your dog, take them for a walk, snuggle, feed, play, brush and engage them with conversation and provide them love and support.
About: I had a cat when I was young which I took care of. Along with the cat, I’ve had various beta fish each living beyond expected life spans. When I was 17-19, I took care of my neighbor’s cat while they were on vacation. I’ve also helped take care of my grandmother’s dog for the past 5 years. I take her for walks and play with her. For the past few months, I’ve been volunteering at an animal shelter where my job is to clean the cat rooms and walk the dogs there. I’m currently a full time college student, but I will be available for breaks and over the summer. During breaks, I’m available anytime during the week depending on what days I’m home. During the summer, I have more open availability with any day being free depending on my internship. I’m very gentile whenever I work with animals, especially pets. I make sure an animal feels comfortable around me before getting them to do something. I build trust in the animal so that I can get them into a crate easily.
About: I used to walk dogs and dog sit in the past. I have my own dog and I have a family member who does boarding. I am constantly around all different types of dogs and I know how to handle each dog’s personality. I am currently in school and was looking for a job that would be flexible and thought this would be a great because I have done it in the past and loved it and I can work around my schedule. When dog walking I would usually meet the client and the dog first just to go over what they would like me to do like we’re the leash or treats is located, how long they want the walks and what the personality of the dog is like.

About: Your dog will become part of our family while staying in our home. Playing in our large fenced yard, snuggles on the sofa, trips to the beach or local Avalon Park trails for long walks! When your dog comes to my house, he/she will become part of our family during their stay. I will follow your instructions, schedule, and routine for your dog while they are with us. Your dog will receive lots of exercise, attention and love. My husband and I are both home full time so your dog will never be alone for more than a couple hours. I have a huge fenced yard for playing. We are located in the beautiful Historic Village of Stony Brook and love walking the dogs to the beach and also Avalon Park trails. We do have an indoor/outdoor cat so your dog must be able to coexist with the cat but they can easily be kept separate. I have many excellent references to share with you, including clients from the Guide Dog Foundation and rescue organizations that I have fostered for. You can set up a free meet and greet at my house. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I am home full time so your pup will have constant attention! Your pup will have lots of exercise, play time and of course lots of snuggles. I have a fenced yard and supervise your pup at all times. I have plenty of time to play with and care for your pup! If I am not home, my husband or one of my teenage sons will be home so your dog will rarely be left alone. I have a large fenced yard for playing and we will walk in our beautiful neighborhood if that’s part of your dog’s routine. Your dog will be supervised at all times and will have lots of attention!
