About: Hello! I’m new to Rover and would love to have the chance to care for your pets! I have grown up with dogs my whole life, mostly small (i love big dogs too!) and a variety of breeds! I’ve also had experience with dogs of all ages from puppies to senior so I understand the demands of all stages of life. I also have experience training basic commands. In addition to pet care, I also have experience with house cleaning services. If you’d like, I’m happy to provide light or full house cleaning during your booking for an additional charge. I am currently working full time so my availability is weekday evenings after 5:30 pm, weekends (all day), and Mondays late afternoon-evening after 3 pm I have a fenced in yard with a lot of room for your dog to run around! I have a mini poodle who would never hurt a fly, he’s getting old but still a puppy at heart. He is very friendly and will keep your dog company! With a crate provided, there is room to set that up as well.

About: My background in canine care began at the Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center in Huntington, NY in 2008. I was employed there for several years as a dog walker and socializer, working with a wide variety of dogs and puppies from many different walks of life. All of the dogs were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with exercise, playtime, feeding, and even medication distribution. After working at the shelter, I found myself at a few local grooming parlors, working as a bather. As you've probably experienced, most dogs do not love being bathed and groomed, and so I would try my very best to make them comfortable in the unfamiliar situation they were in, taking the time to check in on them frequently and give them lots of reassurance and loving. Patience goes a long way! In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house and pet sitting job. However, since then I've been working a full time office job and have been unable to enjoy much time with canine companions. I will regularly pet sit for close friends and family, but I'm ready to spend more time around furry friends! I'd love to meet you and your pup and ensure that they're properly taken care of and loved while you're out on the weekend, working, or away on vacation! She took care of my three cats while I was away, and she was incredibly reliable, compassionate, and attentive. After every visit, Katelyn sent me photos and videos along with updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away.
