About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets as well as neighbors and friends pets for a good while now, I can also give insulin to diabetic pets I’m currently about to be a student attending community college but right now I have nothing to do so I’m available all day every day. I can feed pets at specific times or refill food and water, I can also clean up after pets and take dogs on walks if desired

About: A large grassy area in front of the house on a cul de sad, several dog beds, dog-friendly neighborhood walks,...ideal for a fun pet overnight stay. I do not currently have my own dog but sometimes may take 2 dogs at one time. I study massage and dog psychology. Dogs who love touch or massages will get plenty of attention. It is a house with a yard, not an apartment. The yard is not completely fenced, so I use a leash 100% of the time until I know the dog very well, since there are sometimes birds and squirrels making appearances. Dogs spend a lot of time outside with me, weather permitting. Your dog will not spend time outside alone because it's just more fun to be together. About this sitter: I raised two Scottish Terrier litter-mates from puppy-hood and have cared for dogs and cats in their homes, dogs in my home for months at a time, and I enjoy walking dogs. I am soft-spoken and very patient. Shy, or sensitive/scared pets often feel comfortable around me pretty quickly. Pets should have joy in their lives so I enjoy giving them extra attention to help alleviate some of the stress when their owners are away. For overnight care at a clients' home, I like to stay as light and self-contained as possible. I'm in this for the love of pets and like to leave as little a footprint as possible! Experience includes: dog owner, cat owner, dog sitting for over 15 different dogs and 4 different cats (up to 6 dogs simultaneously or combo of 2 dogs/2 cats who were housemates). Why I love dog sitting: I made my first dog friend when I was 6 years old. Lalli was a seeing-eye school drop out and the sweetest dog I'd ever met. My aunt already had 2 cats that I loved by that point. I ended up helping a senior dog get past her separation anxiety and she and her folks gained more freedom. About my yard: Large grassy area in front of the house. Dog park nearby with well behaved friendly neighborhood dog regulars. My experience administering oral medication: I have done it and I will do it if a pet is not a biter or scratcher. I cared for 2 dogs during their hospice. I am open to doing that, at least to help provide respite for the primary caretakers. I am free to spend time with your dogs and/or house sit anytime except Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 7pm. Dogs that stay overnight with me will have a day sitter and dog company during the day. I am willing to accept stays longer than one week but we must discuss first to see if my system works for your animals. I live in a very walkable neighborhood with a park nearby and a large grassy area. I have an afternoon sunning deck, and plan potty breaks every 2-3 hours. Mini-massages and indoor play breaks are available throughout the day between dog naps.

About: I've grown up with dogs in the home and have personally owned both a senior dog and a young pup, both were rescues. I know how to be patient with dogs as they adjust to new surroundings and people and know how to treat each dog differently as their needs will vary. I especially love taking dogs on nice long walks where they can explore and have fun outdoors! I'm a routine dog mom and value upholding a pups routine as I care for them in their owners absence. I'm currently working full time at a college and I mostly work from home. While my job is 9-5 I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule and can offer frequent potty breaks, fun play time indoors or outdoors, and long walks if the weather permits. I do have my own dog and she’s friendly with others, but mostly prefers humans. Just let me know your pets needs and I can make it work for us all! As a dog mom, I value safety at all times. I always keep items that are not dog friendly out of reach, set boundaries for where pets can be (especially making sure to uphold house rules), and ensuring I give cuddles and care that each pet wants. I always make sure to have water accessible and toys if your pet enjoys them and only under supervision to make sure they're safe as they play! As a dog mom, I know how important and loved your pet(s) are and I will treat them as my own while they are in my care with the guidance from your rules and expectations of course!

About: I can administer subcutaneous fluids for those with chronic disease, or administer oral medication. If your friend needs some special attention, or your friend is shy, no problem! I'm currently working part time, with a super flexible schedule. So if you foresee potential emergencies, I am able to meet the demand with immediacy. I provide based on client's request, and will practice my discretion. Provide proper nutrition, regular exercise and cleaning, fresh water, grooming, and vet visits as needed or on request.

About: Animal care is not a second job or a "gig" for me, it is my entire focus. When I am with your beloved friend I will be "with" them and engaged. As a Pisces, I experience animals as filled with a divine spirit much like people are, and they deserve my undivided attention. I have trained dogs, cats, and horses and have been privileged to care for many senior pets over the years. I can give pills, shots, and sub-Q fluids. I make special foods and treats. I have a delicious venison jerky your dog might like, and working on a salmon one for the cats! For walks and drop-ins I am very flexible time wise. Early morning to early evening, all good. For sitting, I CANNOT currently accept overnights. I can visit your pets several times a day, from early morning to late at night. But cannot "sleep over" with them as I have my own dogs that need my attention at night. In a client's home I carefully follow the directions and preferences of the owner. I take notes and make sure to get things right. I and am always respectful of their privacy. And of course I send pictures and videos! In my own home, I have a doubly fenced property. A fence around the terrace keeps dogs in, and a fence around the 2-acre property keeps totally contained. With cats they would never go outside, at my home.

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, frogs, parakeets, hamsters, fish and turtles. I volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a puppy raiser and learned a lot about positive dog training from that experience. I can administer meds (pills, inhaled steroids, subcutaneous fluids) and carry out routine grooming tasks. I have had 4 dogs and 5 cats over my adult years but currently have no pets. I am recently retired and walk about 3-5 miles/day. Miss walking with a dog. I love cats and miss having one around. I am retired and walk 3-5 miles a day so I can easily fit pet care into my weekly routine and I miss walking with a dog. I am very responsible and will follow your instructions and treat your pets (and home if house sitting) with the same care as I would my own. I live on a quiet street in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced yard. I have a cool head in a crisis. I work with one client at a time. If you have two pets, that is ok with me.

About: I will walk to crap out of your dog. Take that figuratively or literally as you please. Regardless, after our walks they'll come home totally tuckered out. I love dogs and have years of experience caring for dogs and house sitting. I grew up with large Chesapeake bay retrievers and am comfortable walking large dogs. I have a 1.5 year old basset hound. Aesthetically speaking, I am a sucker for a long, low canine. But I love all breeds and can't wait to meet your dog for a walk or a run outside! Can provide references. I'm currently looking for work, so have wide availability to care for your dog/cat. I am used to walking my own dog 2-3 times per day, plus training sessions and K9 nose work practice. If you are working on obedience with your dog, I'm happy to continue to provide training sessions as well while sitting them. At my home, I have a fenced yard with a 1.5 year old basset hound to keep your pups company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and much prefer to arrange a meet and greet before sitting whenever possible to make sure your pup feels safe and confident in my care.
