About: I am a third year veterinary student in KC for the summer at an internship! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years now and have gained experience in handling and working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I have also been petsitting for family friends for 5 years and have plenty of experience making pets feels comfortable while their owner is away. I am comfortable handling any dog or cat, with anything from giving medications to your senior pup to walks and exercise for the more energetic ones! I’m currently working full-time during the week with some evening hours available. I am also typically available all day during the weekend and on most holidays. As I am currently renting, I am not able to care for pets in my own home. However, I am more than willing to travel and take care of your fur-baby in the comfort of their own home! About: I've been relied upon by neighbors for years to dog-sit, dog-walk, and pet-sit for cats as well. I'm a big lover of all animals and grew up with dogs, cats, and even chickens! I started caring for these animals at an early age, handling tasks such as feeding, scooping litter, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the chicken coop. We have an old cat with kidney and heart problems ourselves who needs to be pilled and have a cream applied to his ear twice a day. I understand how our pets are, quite literally, additional family members to the household, and I recognize the importance of ensuring they are loved and cared for, just like all of us!!! I’m a huge fan of walking and this fits into my daily and weekly routine. I also love the social aspect of meeting new people and pets are ALWAYS the best way to meet new people! I can easily drive to your home to walk your dog in the your neighborhood. I’m gentle, friendly and love a big scratch on an animals bottom(if they are welcome to it of course!)

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, have fostered in the past, and continue to care for my friend’s pets while they are away. I am open to house-sit, drop in, or go on however long of a walk your best friend needs. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets in their own homes, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments - cuddlers, partiers, grouches, and loungers all deserve love! I can’t wait to spend time with your best friend and give you peace of mind. I work full time, but work from home Mondays and Fridays. Currently I could do drop-ins and walks anytime Fridays through Mondays. For Tuesday through Thursday, I would only be available early morning and evening. I’m available any day for house sitting stays which includes overnight care in your home with evening and morning routines. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on. I always make sure to double check any needs/wants with the owner, to make sure pets are at their most comfortable. Let me know how your pet thrives in their environment, the more details the better! I will keep you updated on anything you specifically ask, or of any questions I might have that will help me get to know your pet better.

About: With 6+ years of animal care I promise to be able to fulfill any animal need that you might require. My focus is mostly on dogs and cats, old and young, but I have worked with smaller animals such as hamsters and birds. I’m a remote worker so anytime of day I’m available! it would make my day to be able to help a furry friend. I work remote as a writer and usually get my work done in the first two hours of the day. That gives me a lot of flexibility to work with other schedules I have two cats, and they are treated like children. Anything that they want they get and their health is top priority. They fed the best food that is veterinarian recommended, all the play times and love they need, and are treated as family.

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs. One of my favorite things ever is taking my golden doodle for a walk. My apartment doesn’t allow pets so I would love to take care of someone else’s pet - I miss mine!! I don’t have any committed work schedules. I am wanting to do rover part time while I find a full-time job! So I am very flexible. I live in River market and would love to take your dog on a walk with me down the river front! Or do home visits.

About: Hi! We’re Trent and Kalyn! Trent has been taking care of dogs for as long as he can remember and joined Rover at the start of his Master’s program 1.5 years ago. Kalyn has more recently joined the Rover team is a larger capacity with her new remote role. We have served over 100 happy owners and pets and look forward to meeting your special pups! We live in a safe, dog friendly apartment complex in downtown Kansas City. Trent just finished his Masters in Clinical and Mental Health and is currently working toward certification. Kalyn’s job is fully remote so there’s always someone at home! Trent see clients a few days throughout the week but Kalyn is always available M-F for various pick-up/drop-off times. We are available for sitting any time- from a quick visit to a week long vacation— your dog will get the best and most attentive care. We know how much they mean to you! Your pet’s safety is our #1 priority. We will always text you photo updates of our adventures. Your dog(s) will get abundant play, attention, and plenty of exercise.
