About: I am a huge animal person and love to take care and play with your pets of any kind! I have been cat sitting and dog walking for years for family and neighbors, and have always been there for even a short pop-in visit. Working in my local animal shelter I specialized in both feline and canine care, and know everything about keeping your pet happy and healthy. I have two cats of my own that I treat like my babies and grew up with dogs all my life, and I hope I can treat your pets as good as my own! I am currently working part time with a varying schedule, but will typically have the same days off every week which will allow me to have a more consistent schedule when caring for your pet. I will always approach a new dog or cat with caution and assess their behavior before jumping right in, not only for my well-being but also theirs to avoid any extra stress.

I walk my dog in the evenings after work - a quick workout for both of us. We love to walk around Kansas City together! When I’m home, Louie is always right by my side - on the couch, in bed or even while I’m cooking. I crate him most nights and while I’m at work. I live in an apartment so walks are very necessary - we go on at least one a day or we run in my apartment’s dog park. Would love to add your dog to the mix!

About: I’ve been the resident cat and dog sitter since I was a teen in my family and friend group. I have worked with dogs big and small, and cats of many temperaments. I have been an overnight sitter for both animals, and have experience walking, playing, following routines, and making the pets feel comfortable and loved. I have followed medication routines and given medications for both cats and dogs as well when needed, and am comfortable doing so. I am currently working part time while going to grad school, so I am back and forth from the house and able to check on any pets throughout the day. My home has plenty of space for another cat to hang out. In my home, I try to make the environment as comfortable for other pets as possible and make sure they feel safe and secure as they would in their own home. As for visiting pets at their homes, I enjoy knowing their habits and preferences, so I can cater to their needs as closely to their normal lifestyle as I can. Simply put, I want pets to feel at home and safe regardless of their location, and do my best to love them and their needs whatever they may be.

About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.

I am a hybrid employee and I work remotely on Fridays, otherwise I am available outside of regular working hours (8-4:30) to watch your pet I will follow any instructions to a T, I take pet care very seriously and respect that pets can have varying requirements due to medical or lifestyle needs

My dog is a typical golden retriever, she doesn’t have an aggressive or bossy bone in her body. She loves everyone and everything. So your dog will be very comfortable.

I got my first whiff of being a pet sitter when I became roommates with a couple of friends and their golden poodle! From there on out I became a dog/cat sitter for Rover.! About: My name is Mikayla - I am a behaviorist by trade (for people, not pets) and I've been a pet lover forever! I have a 9 year old Staffy/Akita/Aussie mix and a 15 year old cat at home. I will feed, play with, and walk your dog (and can also take them to the dog park for a good time if they're familiar!) I'm friendly, playful, and can be flexible with scheduling throughout the metro area from the end of June through July. Lets chat and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I'm a public educator so I'm off work in the summer months and available most any time June- July. From August - May, I'm available in the evenings (after 4pm) most days! I'm happy to care for pets in your home and am a reliable and trustworthy pet/home sitter. I drive a Ford Escape and can transport dogs to a park nearby if desired, too.
