My daughter, who’s now abroad, used to dog sit and encouraged me to try it myself—knowing how much I love dogs, even though I’m not ready to have one full-time. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment with plenty of space for your dog to relax comfortably. While I don’t have a backyard, I take regular walks in safe, green areas nearby and always supervise outdoor time. I follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, and routines, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. About: What sets me apart is that caring for dogs and cats has always been a part of my life—not just a job. I’ve grown up around pets and truly see them as family members, so I understand how important it is that they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals. I also have hands-on experience from working at a dog kennel during high school, where I learned the importance of routine, cleanliness, and recognizing different pet personalities and needs. Ideally, I’m looking to do pet care part-time, which means I can be reliable, present, and attentive when pets need me rather than rushing through visits. I care for pets by closely following the owner’s instructions and routines to ensure consistency and comfort. I focus on meeting each pet’s individual needs—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and quiet time—while making them feel safe and cared for. About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember. My sisters and I would bring home stray pets knowing once our mom saw them she wouldn't say no. At one time, we had 3 dogs and five cats. I currently have a boxer/ rat terrier/ coonhound mix named Bentley. I have dog sat for family friends and love having extra snuggles and wet kisses. I know its hard to leave our fur babies behind and look forward to having the trust to care for them and put your mind at ease. Very flexible and can accommodate most schedules on potty breaks and exercise. We take frequent walks around the neighborhood and have a nice big park across the road. We recently adopted a new addition to our family, Bandit. ❤️ He’s a 1.5 year old heeler mix, socialized, and fostered with puppies. He’s happy to make new friends.

About: I have owned dogs for over 15 years. I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up around large German Shepherds, a Doberman and too many cats to count. Today I have much smaller dogs. Mr. Miygai is around 19lbs and looks like a terrier mix but is part Chi and part Mini Poodle. Zoe is all stumpy tail Cattle dog mix and about 30lbs. Both love other dogs and get along great with them. Mr does prefer smaller dogs. Over the years I have owned 2 Dachshunds and a Sheltie Mix who was deaf. My Doxies lived to be 15 years old and one survived back surgery. I have experience taking care of young and old dogs. I am very comfortable with providing medication as well. I would love to take care of your dogs and treat them like they are my own. Currently taking a break from the corporate world. Have a lot of time to help others. Available most days of the week including weekends to take care of animals. I have a fenced yard and 2 of my own dogs. They have free roam of the house and yard. Dogs are treated as family.

About: I have had dogs my whole life as well as taking care of neighbor’s / family friend’s dogs. I love to cuddle and play for as long as they need. I make sure that they m feel comfortable and safe. However, my love for them does not mean they can do whatever they please and I will make sure they abide by the owners specific instructions. Any day I am free. I am currently taking the semester off in college and need a job to keep me occupied. I also am living with parents to help if anything happens. While my parents usually are taking care of our dog, I take care of him while they are away for as long as 2 weeks before. I play with him everyday and take him out on walks.

WHAT I CAN DO: I am comfortable with pets of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. This includes pets that need medication, special dietary restrictions, or even pets that don't like to be too close but just need a little company- I'm just happy to meet your pet no matter what they need! MY PET BACKGROUND: I have experience housesitting with dogs/cats for up to a week. In this time, I maintained the house, watered plants, fed both cats and dogs, took care of trash and mail, etc. My family has had up to 8 dogs at once, ranging from puppy to senior. Now, we currently have 3 dogs and even a pet rabbit. I found a passion for training pets/encouraging good behavior, which led me to teach my pup tricks like roll over, bang bang, dance, etc., and we both loved every minute! We also took in a stray feral cat (was stuck in a car hood, long story), and for the past few months I have successfully worked hard to make a connection and bond with her! I do also help care for the cat in my home in Indiana. I have given pets medication many times, including wound care, vet visits, and special feeding instructions. I currently work part-time at a restaurant, with my shift typically starting at 3pm. My schedule does tend to shift around, but on days I do work, I am flexible with when I can watch your loved one and am willing to visit as much as possible before and after work. However, when I'm not working, I am more than happy to spend as much time with your pet as possible/wanted. While in your home, I will be around your pet 24/7, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I love playing with pets but can also enforce rules and regulations set up for your pet with ease. I can handle crating, leashing, feeding, picking up messes, and more. If housesitting, I am happy to assist in pickup and general house upkeep, including trash night, collecting mail, dusting, etc.

About: Hello!! I have had a dog since I was born and learned to feed and walk them at a young age. I take care of my neighbors dog when she has commitments. My daughter and I take him out for a walk end of the night so she doesn’t have to when she gets home. I’ve house sat on weekends so friends can have a weekend vacation. Also have taken a friends’ dog for walks after school before they get home so the pup can go potty. I work full time Monday through Friday but home by 4:45 everyday. I can can care for your pet in my home starting Friday nights to Sundays for your weekend get aways. I also can do a drop in visit and take your pet for walks and play for a bit if you have to work late or convenience. My daughter and I would cuddle, play and love your pet. We play outside and go for walks a lot. With permission we go to the dog park to run off energy or play with friends of mine’s dogs. Jumping on the couch is never an issue. I prefer to them to get comfortable on couch pillows as if it’s his/her home. The less stress/anxiety on your pet the better. Your pet will never wait in the morning to go outside potty as 5:30am is typically sleeping in for me. My daughter loves to do tricks or even try to teach new ones. I work full time during the week. I am available for drop ins and dog walks during the week after 4:15. Starting Friday night by 4:30 I’m available for boarding and house sitting. On this Rover platform it is set to weekends only for boarding but if you have a cat that needs a long stay that is totally fine and would be happy to do that. When I board an animal I try to be home as much as possible or make it a day event for a walk in the trails (with a leash of course), or play with friends of mines pets. When your pet is in my care I like to have all of my errands finished that way we have constant interaction, opportunities to snuggle/play and go for walks. The more time I have with your pet I hope the more comfortable they feel. Your pet already misses their human and wouldn’t want to leave them alone. I can board up to 2 dogs per family at a time but wouldn’t take on any more to avoid possible temperaments or jealousy. When going for walks I have your pup on a leash at all times. I have a family environment home so your family pup will always have attention. I like to send a few pictures and videos each day to let you know he/she is safe and having a good time.

About: I've taken care of many dogs for friends and family members. Trained puppies for family as well as my own. Cared for older dogs who needed extensive care. Provided all types of care such as, walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and sitting. My schedule is very flexible so I have lots of availability. Morning drop offs and pick ups are great but can adjust as needed. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions. I have a spacious yard and only one small dog who gets along well with other dogs. My home does have space for a crate if needed.

About: I engage in their personalities and strive to develop a bond with both dogs and cats. I was with my senior cat to the end-of-life. I am a volunteer at Harbor Humane Society. My work hours are Monday thru Friday, 6am - 2pm. I would be available for dog walks/ cat care,and drop- in visits after 3 pm. I have a 2.5 yr old cat a 7 year old cat who are getting along fine. After my 18+ yr old cat passed in May of 2021, I felt it right to get the 7 yr old cat a playmate. They produce a nice sense of harmony in the house.
