“Great communication! Our dogs loved her! Very respectful of our property! She even loved on our cats when they came to say hello as well! Would recommend over and over again! 10/10!”

“Zi (Adriana) did a great job caring for our dog. They were communicative, followed the care instructions we left, and gave our dog nice walks. I would recommend Zi for drop-in visits for your dog.”

About: I have pet sit, walked, ran, leash trained, and mentally stimulated dogs of all breeds since a kid. Each dog needs all of these things in different ways and I am here to figure that out to insure your pup and you get the best from me. I used to be under the LLC Dogs On the Run Grand Rapids, but life (two children, moving to Holland etc) put that on hold. I am now so excited to start giving Hollands furry family members what they need! I would love to meet you and work with you and your dog to give them the energy and visit or stay that they need! I have ran and walked dogs no matter the weather. Visits and Stays will come with pictures, arrival and departure time, a map of where we walked/ran, and any notes of our adventure! Send me a message and lets talk about your furry friend today! I am currently working, but that can be worked around your schedule and your pets needs. I am always willing to find the best scenario and schedule! For those going on walks and runs, we will work with what you use and what works best for your dog. All dogs are different. Also, what you want from your dog is different as well. If they need some leash training we can do that as well. My car is dog friendly, so if ball at the park is what they need, or a swim, I am down for that as well! Variety is the spice of life! For stays, I do have a dog of my own who is completely pet friendly, so of course our home is too! Any questions, Ask away :)

About: I’ve always been an animal lover that is patient and nurturing to pets. I grew up with both dogs and cats. For years I have been a reliable and trustworthy person among family, friends, and neighbors. I have extensive experience checking in on pets and playing with them throughout the day, dog walking, and overnight pet/house sitting for a variety of cat and dog breeds. I also have experience administering medication to pets if needed. For example, one dog I’ve watched many times had a case of kennel cough/pneumonia and/or ear infection that required daily antibiotics and ear drops. I am extremely passionate about pets and giving them the best care possible to ensure they remain healthy, active, and happy. I take pride in providing excellent care and peace of mind for pet owners. I also like to take photos of the pets each day or so to send to their owners to keep them updated and ensure their well-being. I am able to check on pets before and after work, as well as during lunch breaks. If/when working from home, I can stay at the house with the pets throughout the day. In the evenings and weekends while pet sitting, I take the dog(s) for a walk and then spend time playing and hanging out with them in the backyard and/or around the house. When pet sitting at client’s homes, I make sure the pets are always nearby or at least in view. I routinely let dogs out into the backyard for exercise and potty breaks as needed, and ensure all gates are closed/locked to keep them safe. I also regularly check their bowls so that they always have access to fresh water and are fed on their usual schedule.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have always had them as part of my family. As my children grew up, they were raised alongside our dogs, and we've also always had cats. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I'm patient, dependable, and treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. Animals seem to trust me quickly, and I love making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I have a flexible schedule because I work from home and stay close to the area. I'm available for early morning visits, midday drop-ins during my lunch break, afternoon walks or check-ins, and evening visits after 6:00 PM. I'll always communicate clearly and make sure your pet receives reliable, attentive care when you need it. When I visit your home, I'll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I'll provide plenty of love and attention, fresh food and water, potty breaks or walks, playtime, and I'll follow your pet's routine and any special instructions so they're happy while you're away.
“Karyn did a great job managing my finicky kitty boys. She put in the extra effort that showed she really cared and even accommodated our last minute scheduling change. We will be definitely using Karyn again!”

“Bailey did a great job taking care of our 3 rambunctious kitties! She sent awesome pictures and gave me comfort while away on vacation that they were being taken care of. Thank you so much Bailey :)”

“Allison was a great sitter and friend for Smitty for the three weeks we were out of town. There were many visits involved over this time period and Allison did a good job communicating with us about Smitty's various walks and play-times, what kind of mood he was in, whether he drank some water after play-time, and other info. She really cares about Smitty and enjoys the work. We highly recommend Allison!”

“Caroline is great and would definitely recommend her! She’s been a huge help, the animals loves her, and she does amazing job and has been happy to help me out in anyways possible.”

About: I have always had dogs, raising them from puppies. I have had old dogs, sick dogs, active dogs, pure breeds, and mixed breeds. They always become part of the family. I work from home and am usually only away for a couple of hours at a time. If I know ahead of time that a specific pet needs more attention, I can schedule accordingly. I have a fenced yard with a doggie door. I keep the doggie door shut unless an owner asks for me to use it. I do not have any children or pets of my own in my home at this time. I live in a quiet neighborhood. A very calm environment.
“Addy came to our rescue when we needed someone to do a visit to take the dogs out with an extremely short turnaround. She came for a meet and greet the very next day, and took care of the pooches the next. She did a great job - the dogs loved her :-).”

About: ♡ As an owner of 4 Jack Russell Terrier Dachshund mixes, and a big fluffy cat, rest assured I will care for and keep your pet happy and safe. My 11 y.o. dog, Jackson, 4 y.o. Nala, 2-1/2 y.o. puppies (x2) - CrackerJack and Willow, and my 16 y.o. cat, Kiki, love to make new friends! (Kiki likes the back of the house normally, but was raised with doggos, and she is declawed in the front, so she is happily welcoming new friends, too!) We would all love to add your beloved pet to our friend's list! We all love puppy playtime, walks and playing fetch:) ♡ I am an energetic, fun-loving furbaby lover with lots of treats for your special friend. Your pup will get personalized service from me without hesitation. As my favorite handler says, "Learning an animal's language is a must!" ~ Caesar Milan ♡Message me with any questions or concerns you might have as you are away, and I will be happy to snap pictures, capture special photos, and videos of your furbaby(ies) while you are away, too! ♡ TLC INCLUDED ♡ I previously worked for The American Red Cross and taught Pet CPR and First Aid, so rest assured your pet will be in great hands! • I am currently in Rover training to be a dog trainer. Out of the four modules required, I have one left to complete! I aim to get certified by end-July! As an Artist, I work from home, so I will be giving 24/7 care to your furbaby and give them special attention the entire day and night. 🐾 Typically, we all get up at 5.30-6.30a and I take them out, and we nap zzz for another hour or so. Then it's our walk time, and we like to go around the neighborhood as well as going to the boardwalk right next door for fun. We spend our days indoors and out and about, pending weather. My yard is not fenced, but I take Jackson and Nala and the puppies for a walk every morning, and outside as needed (every two.ish hours). There is a fire hydrant right across the street from my front door- puppy approval 10/10! I recently purchased a baby gate, to open up in my front yard, for the furs to pay outside in! My four love it! (About the size of an SUV or so.)

Emily was absolutely amazing! Although we were not there, we could tell that both Callie & Loki (even Callie with receiving her meds 2x a day) really took to Emily! She was attentive, gave us great updates & photos, and even played with them aligned to their personalities/likes. We highly recommend her and will book her again in the future 🥰

Bel is amazing! She was on it, informative and loving to our senior cat. She was able to accommodate late midnite changes on a Holiday weekend too! She said "all she needs is a book and a cat and shes happy" which was comforting but she was also great with my dog

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Holland. On Rover:

- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
