“I had a last minute trip to Grand Rapids for work and spent time looking for the perfect fit to watch my 7 mo old puppy during the day. Once I came across Anne’s profile, I’d hoped for a good experience and let me tell you, Anne and her family were absolutely amazing! They were super attentive to my pup — taking him for walks, allowing him to play with their animals, and maintaining structure for him by encouraging rest time, and correcting his behavior. Every time I came to pick him up, he was so sad to leave and he was super excited to be back at their house each time I dropped him off! I can’t sing their praises enough, it means the world to me that they helped me in a pinch and that they did an exceptional job! Any time I return to the area, Anne will be my go-to everytime!”

“Jaronsa was fantastic! I was desperate to find someone to watch my little pup, last minute and I’m lucky to have found Jaronsa! Pippa was well taken care of. She loved laying in the sunshine and liked that Jaronsa’s home had plenty of windows. Not to mention, she had the best yard ever! I will definitely reach out again when I am in town, looking for a sitter!”

“My YorkiePoo loves his buddy Terry and his wife, Chuckie. He attends doggy daycare weekly and is always at our garage door ready to go. He has met several playmates and is always excited when I pick him up.🐶🐾🐕🦺”

“Kristina was great with Hazel. I am sure she will do well if we need her again. Hazel loved following her around the house and playing outside.”

“Highly recommend. My pup is TIRED from playing all day. She is only 9 weeks old and had a blast. 10/10 recommend Brenda. Will be booking again :)”

“Jennifer responded to our last minute need and took such good care of our Samoyed! Maggie was absolutely exhausted the rest of the day. She offered to bathe Maggie, too. We declined because drying our double coated girl can take hours, but it was a really nice offer. She sent pictures frequently which made us feel at ease. Jennifer was also so great in offering us advice as we are new to the area. We definitely will use her services again while she’s here for the season :)”

About: I have always had dogs growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I've taken care of dogs ranging in all different sizes and breeds most my life. I have experience in dog care from volunteering at Harbor Humane Society's and animal shelters along with caretaking for dogs at home. I have experience in catering to old and newborn dogs aswell as dogs that require medications and "extra" help around the house. I'm currently working from home. My schedule is very flexible between Sunday and Saturday so please feel free to ask for any services that need done. I'm more then happy to be of some service for your furry best friend! I care for pets as if they are my own and treated with the utmost respect and safety as if they were royalty. If they need any special treatment or needs I will gladly accommodate them. Examples would be crates, treats, medicine, routines, animal food, etc.

“Another excellent Rover.com experience this Tim for Oscar with Frances and Jeremy! I felt comfortable with them right away. Oscar was a little timid at first but they knew how to handle it. It was good for me to not stress leaving him in hotel room by himself. Good for Oscar to meet new friends (first time he actually bonded with a guy). So appreciate you being so welcoming!”

“I felt great putting my dog in her hands. She sent me lots of pics and my dog looked so happy. He came come tired & she responded quickly too. Definitely recommend!”

About: I have ten plus years of pet care experience. I Have handled small lap dogs to large hunting dogs, they are all a joy to work with. I have a full time 1st shift job. I will still be with rover part time. I do not have any training certifications but I can teach basic commands. I am especially patient, honest, hard working, and self motivated. I would love to establish a clientele of people who care about their pets and would like me to provide extra exercise and attention. I have a spacious 4 bed house with fenced in back yard. I would like you to know I currently have 4 pets. A Siberian husky, King Charles spaniel, & 2 cats that prefer the cool, quiet basement. Hope this helps, thanks. Being a pet owner I understand the workload and inflexibility when it comes to back up care when needed. I have a few hours to spare a day and would love to help. I have 4 fur babies, Husky, Cavalier, & 2 cats! I have a fenced in back yard and crates available for alone time. I understand that each pet and owner are unique and would love to care for your pet based on their needs and your standards.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. Our family has always had a dog and we couldn't imagine our life without them! I have also cared for our family, friends and neighbors dogs. I am a stay at home mom which gives me plenty of time to care for dogs! We are home most weekends and are available for boarding. We have a large yard, not fenced but we take a lot of walks and have stakes in the backyard for the dogs to play outside.

“Shannon is absolutely awesome and a professional. Beautiful home with fenced yard. She accommodated Gizzy at the last minute and sent wonderful pics of her new tenant. No concerns and no complaints. Gizzy wants to go back.”

About: New to Rover? Save $20 on your first booking with me: Code: ELIZAE67522 I have owned pets for over 20 years and taken care of them like they were family—because they are! I've opened my home to cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles, ferrets, and rats over the years and loved them all! I've managed vet visits and administered medications to senior cats, including injections and oral medications. I have experience fostering sick cats for a local pet society, giving them a safe environment and nursing them back to good health! I particularly excel at senior animal care for cats and dogs. While I love to play with pets who have energy to burn, I'm happy to meet older and calmer pets where they are and at their energy level if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing sitter. I love animals and would be thrilled to make sure they have a happy time while you're away. As a mother of three and a massive animal lover, I couldn't be more qualified (and more excited!) to take care of your pets. I am self-employed and work remotely. Because of this, I have a very flexible schedule and can plan my work around pet sitting with ease! In your home, I can take care of your animals, plants, collect mail, and do light cleaning! I have room in my home for any smaller animals in an enclosure, like reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more! If you prefer separation from other pets, our large extra bedroom at night so they're not left with my pets unsupervised (or at all, depending on your preferences!)

“Laura was a great help when we needed someone to watch our Charlie boy. He was able to socialize with other dogs and interact with Laura’s family!”

About: I’ve owned dogs/cats and many small animals my entire life, and have pet-sit for family members most of my adult life. I love animals and my stepdaughter-in-law is a vet surgeon! My husband often jokes that my dogs get more attention than him! I currently work part-time at school, and coach part time as well, so I’m home a lot! My husband is retired and is home all the time….so your pets won’t be left home alone! I love going on long walks to the park with my dogs and taking them everywhere with me! I am home most of the time! I have 2 dogs at home, both fully vaccinated and in heartworm/tick prevention. We own 10 acres and have plenty of room for your pups to play! We can crate your dog if needed as well!

Samuel O.
“I've known Sam for over 6 years now and he's watched over both of my dogs for over 4 and a half years. One of my dogs is getting up there in age and needs daily medications and accommodations for his health. Sam does a fantastic job at keeping my older dog Bear happy, medicated, and safe. I've never had any problems or complications with Sam and he's always been able to work with my schedule. His customer service is very informative and caring. I've always got a text or call if he had any questions and keeps me updated often. He has a very upbeat and compassionate personality that helps keep me confident in his pet care for my animals and puts there happiness and safety as his top priority. I think he would be an awesome dog sitter/caretaker for anybody that needs it.”

Elizabeth E.
“As a member of Elizabeth's household, I've personally seen the love and care she puts into all of our animals. As the primary pet carer of the house, she takes care of all the cat's needs, including entertainment, medication, litter, and cleanup. I've never seen a more attentive and excited animal carer—she loves animals so much that she volunteered her time with no pay to take care of cats and foster them to bring them back to health! She's also a naturally quiet person and knows when to step back and how to earn the trust of more cautious animals and older animals who don't have the boundless energy of their younger counterparts. I've particularly seen her successfully and carefully earn the trust of nervous rabbits and cats, and I'm sure her animal-whispering abilities don't end there! She just really cares! Every animal that's come into this house, whether they're hers or a friend's or a family member's, has been treated with excitement and love and attentiveness. There is absolutely NO ONE that I would trust more with my pets than Elizabeth!”

Teran P.
“Teran, recently (April 2025), provided 9 days of in-home care for our elderly dog, while we traveled out of the country. Our 11 year old, 85 lb, Flat-Coated Retriever, was experiencing digestive issues, requiring close management of his diet and frequent potty walks day and night. She followed our detailed feeding, exercise and care instructions perfectly and provided him with tender loving care. She put us at ease by providing frequent updates and pictures of him while we were away. Teran proved to us that she is diligent and trustworthy to be in your home and to care for your family pet. Given this experience, I would highly recommend her services.”

Lindsay P.

“Lindsay provided lots of updates and photos of my two little guys throughout the day. Both were happy and content; she took great care of them!”

Charles F.
“I had such a great experience with Charles! He was incredibly kind and clearly has a natural way with animals—my dog took to him right away. Communication was excellent throughout. He kept me updated and sent photos, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. I could tell my dog was well cared for and happy. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Thank you so much!”
