“Kristina is excellent! She met my somewhat timid Miniature Australian Shepherd and it was love at first pet! Bonnie was so happy to be loved and petted during our meet and greet that I knew Kristina was a great fit. Made room for us on short notice and sent pictures that warmed my heart. She is already booked again!”

About: I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood and enjoy a peaceful home environment. I work, stay active in my church, and love winding down with a good book or movie. I’m down-to-earth and will treat your dog like family. My daughter, who’s now abroad, used to dog sit and encouraged me to try it myself—knowing how much I love dogs, even though I’m not ready to have one full-time. I often helped her with dog sitting before she left, and truly enjoyed the companionship. It would be a blessing to care for your pet and offer you peace of mind. I’m flexible, reliable, and would have a great time making sure your dog feels safe and loved. I work hybrid, which means your pet will have plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I love taking regular breaks to go on walks, give belly rubs, or just relax with a furry friend nearby. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate feeding routines, bathroom breaks, and any special care your pet may need. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment with plenty of space for your dog to relax comfortably. While I don’t have a backyard, I take regular walks in safe, green areas nearby and always supervise outdoor time. I follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, and routines, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. Whether in my home or yours, I provide calm, attentive care to help your pet feel secure and loved.

“Kira is absolutely wonderful. She has helped us with both pet walking and house sitting, and both experiences have been excellent. She consistently goes above and beyond to care for the needs of your animals, even taking care of things that aren’t specifically listed. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after, and that peace of mind means everything. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive to care for their animals.”

“Caleb has been absolutely wonderful! He is great with Murph and is so kind with my aging parents as he picks up their dog to walk him every morning. He is always on time and Murph loves his time with Caleb!”

About: My first job at 12 was dog walking/sitting but I have been a lifelong animal lover! I grew up with dogs and adopted my cat about 8 years ago. I have cared for both young and elderly dogs/cats as well as those with special needs and medical conditions. I am currently a stay at home mom with my five year old son. My availability is very open especially going into the summer months. Although I may not be able to do overnight stays at this time, I can do later evenings and earlier mornings. I do have a fenced in backyard that I can accommodate your pup with! I also have a dog in my home who is very friendly and would love play if you allow it. If not I will keep them separate. I can take your dog out to a local trail or walk them in your neighborhood. With cats I would be vigilant in keeping them away from open doors unless allowed. I know they love to explore small spaces and I take extra precautions to keep my girl safe! I love getting to know all the unique personalities of different cats, I love a good cuddle as well as some fun playtime. I have a special place in my heart for senior kitties.

We all love puppy playtime, walks and playing fetch:) ♡ I am an energetic, fun-loving furbaby lover with lots of treats for your special friend. Out of the four modules required, I have one left to complete! I aim to get certified by end-July! As an Artist, I work from home, so I will be giving 24/7 care to your furbaby and give them special attention the entire day and night. 🐾 Typically, we all get up at 5.30-6.30a and I take them out, and we nap zzz for another hour or so. Then it's our walk time, and we like to go around the neighborhood as well as going to the boardwalk right next door for fun. We spend our days indoors and out and about, pending weather. My yard is not fenced, but I take Jackson and Nala and the puppies for a walk every morning, and outside as needed (every two.ish hours). There is a fire hydrant right across the street from my front door- puppy approval 10/10! I recently purchased a baby gate, to open up in my front yard, for the furs to pay outside in! My four love it! (About the size of an SUV or so.)

About: I provide an in-home pet care experience for families with dogs, cats, and other pets. I started offering services professionally in 2016, through word-of-mouth, while located in Grand Rapids. On a personal level, our family included both dogs and cats while raising our children, and I grew up in a family with dogs and cats as well. I joined Rover to help me connect with pet families upon moving to a new location. My schedule will revolve around your fur babies while I'm caring for them. I am a former dog and cat owner, and I want your pets to feel comfortable and have fun while you are away. I currently work from home (or anywhere) part-time so have the flexibility to prioritize your pets' care. I provide attentive care in your home, allowing your pets to stay in familiar surroundings. I love walking dogs around the neighborhood or to nearby parks for daily exercise. At home I'll provide snuggles and love between feedings. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors I might watch for.
About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs my entire life, with hands-on experience supporting pets through all life stages and needs. Whether your pet requires medication management, specialized diet adherence, mobility assistance, or extra patience due to age or disability, I approach each animal as an individual deserving attentive, compassionate care. I don’t just follow instructions, I notice subtle changes in behavior, anticipate needs, and communicate proactively with owners so you have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I am currently working part time as a painter, part time with Rover, and volunteering for Harbor Humane, but worry not. I can make my schedule completely open for any pet care needs. I will rarely be unavailable. I prioritize your pet’s routine and comfort above all. Whether that means leash walks through your neighborhood, supervised backyard play in their familiar space, or respecting crating schedules you’ve established, I adapt to what works for your pet, not what’s easiest for me. I ensure fresh water is always available, meals are served on time, and any special instructions (door security, alarm codes, plant watering) are followed exactly. Beyond the basics, I make time for real connection like belly rubs, play sessions, or just calm companionship for anxious pets. You’ll come home to a pet who felt cared for, not just looked after.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a young girl, about 20 years now! I’m honored to meet new animals and gain their trust, showing them love, kindness, and fun! Animals really are so important to me, I’m a devout vegetarian and animal-advocate, with hopes to open a no-kill rescue in the future for all types of animals. I am a graduate student who works part time from home. My weekly routine is flexible and ready to fit your needs! Whatever works for you! I’ll care for your pet like my own. I go on long walks, know how to train dogs, and can take care of special needs.
