About: Hi, my name is Zuri! I’ve been around animals all my life! I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, lizards, geckos, fish, goats, chickens, and so much more! I’m comfortable with dogs of any size, breed, and age! I’ve dog-sat and cared for animals for friends and family for years. Communication is very important to me so I like to keep in touch with all my clients. I am currently available all day Saturday and Sunday and 5 pm- 12 am Monday to Friday! I am available to do overnight stays during the weekend and require only 24 hours' notice for drop-in visits. I have a large backyard and 2-3 other dogs who can keep your pup company! As well as 2 barn cats and chickens! I have a large outdoor crate and a smaller indoor crate if your pup becomes overwhelmed and needs a break. I typically walk my dog 2 miles in the morning, and then play fetch and tug-of-war for an hour after we train for 30 minutes, I do this 3-6 times a day depending on my schedule for the day!

About: I have pet sit, walked, ran, leash trained, and mentally stimulated dogs of all breeds since a kid. Each dog needs all of these things in different ways and I am here to figure that out to insure your pup and you get the best from me. I used to be under the LLC Dogs On the Run Grand Rapids, but life (two children, moving to Holland etc) put that on hold. I am now so excited to start giving Hollands furry family members what they need! I would love to meet you and work with you and your dog to give them the energy and visit or stay that they need! I have ran and walked dogs no matter the weather. Visits and Stays will come with pictures, arrival and departure time, a map of where we walked/ran, and any notes of our adventure! My car is dog friendly, so if ball at the park is what they need, or a swim, I am down for that as well! Variety is the spice of life! About: I've worked at a Veterinary Clinic for a year where I worked with pets all day! I have owned two dogs, one being a puppy! I’m currently working part-time at Clinic, so I am able to come check on your pet during my lunch break! I am also available to come to your house after work to care for your pet! I am unavailable to board or do doggy day care, but I am able to dog walk, house sit, and dog/cat sit! I love taking care of animals! WHAT I CAN DO: I am comfortable with pets of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. MY PET BACKGROUND: I have experience housesitting with dogs/cats for up to a week. In this time, I maintained the house, watered plants, fed both cats and dogs, took care of trash and mail, etc. My family has had up to 8 dogs at once, ranging from puppy to senior. Now, we currently have 3 dogs and even a pet rabbit. I found a passion for training pets/encouraging good behavior, which led me to teach my pup tricks like roll over, bang bang, dance, etc., and we both loved every minute! We also took in a stray feral cat (was stuck in a car hood, long story), and for the past few months I have successfully worked hard to make a connection and bond with her! I do also help care for the cat in my home in Indiana. I have given pets medication many times, including wound care, vet visits, and special feeding instructions. I currently work part-time at a restaurant, with my shift typically starting at 3pm. My schedule does tend to shift around, but on days I do work, I am flexible with when I can watch your loved one and am willing to visit as much as possible before and after work. However, when I'm not working, I am more than happy to spend as much time with your pet as possible/wanted. While in your home, I will be around your pet 24/7, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I love playing with pets but can also enforce rules and regulations set up for your pet with ease. I can handle crating, leashing, feeding, picking up messes, and more. If housesitting, I am happy to assist in pickup and general house upkeep, including trash night, collecting mail, dusting, etc.

My availability is very open especially going into the summer months. Although I may not be able to do overnight stays at this time, I can do later evenings and earlier mornings. I do have a fenced in backyard that I can accommodate your pup with! I also have a dog in my home who is very friendly and would love play if you allow it. If not I will keep them separate. I can take your dog out to a local trail or walk them in your neighborhood. With cats I would be vigilant in keeping them away from open doors unless allowed. I know they love to explore small spaces and I take extra precautions to keep my girl safe! I love getting to know all the unique personalities of different cats, I love a good cuddle as well as some fun playtime. I have a special place in my heart for senior kitties.

I have a deaf dog who I taught sign language to and have gone through Reactive behavior training as well as basic training for dogs! I worked at a dog boarding facility for a year and have fostered through harbor for a couple of years now! I have lots of experience with all sized dogs, all ages, and all behaviors! I am very comfortable and am willing to meet your fur baby before booking with me! I love going on adventures (hiking is my favorite hobby) so I would love to take your fur baby for walks or even just snuggle, whatever is needed!! We had a 16 year old pit mix who required medication everyday so I am very familiar with giving medications, I would also be able to help with basic training during my time if needed! I have experience with all kinds of pet care daily because I worked at a daycare and boarding facility. I have been around all sizes of dogs and all ages. I have been around more aggressive dogs and also the sweetest dogs. I also take care of my own dogs and when I’m done at work I like taking them for walks or snuggling on the couch!
