“Beth was super loving and caring for my kittycat 😺 This was her first time with a cat, and she did great! Communication was ever present with pics to help me feel at ease😊”

“Leia loved staying with Pamela! Pamela was excellent at communication before the stay and during, sending daily pictures and updates. She had a warm and inviting home and you could feel her love and care for dogs. She even sent Leia home with some homemade dog treats! We will definitely book her for future stays!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Katherine was amazingly patient when answering all my questions about what we should expect. Unfortunately during the stay, one of our dogs had a difficult time adjusting, but Katherine did everything she could to ease her anxiety and make her comfortable. By the end of the weekend, there was quite a bit of improvement for Jessie. They sent pics of them and the dogs having fun which I thoroughly enjoyed.”

“Frances and her husband are so kind! This was our first ever boarding experience so we were a bit hesitant going into it, but Frances made us feel very comfortable the whole time. Our dogs came home tired and very happy. We will be using them again!!”

“Roman was fantastic watching our little Lilo. This was her second time staying with him and his family. They always are excited to have her. She gets walked and they send photos daily. Highly recommend”

“Theresa was wonderful and took great care of our pup! We even had some delays traveling, and Theresa was very flexible and communicative. Highly recommend and will definitely board with her again!”

“Sylvia was fantastic. It was great peace of mind to leave him with her for a few days knowing he was going to be well taken care of. Our kids loved getting regular photos!”

“I am so grateful that I picked Terry to care for my little dog, Peanut. Terry is about my age and Peanut is used to being at home with me each day. She loves to sit next to me much like Velcro. I felt Terry’s home was like a home away from home for Peanut. I live in a condo and Terry’s home had the advantage of having a fenced-in backyard which Peanut loved. Terry sent me a photo and short update every day which helped me to relax knowing that Peanut was content!”

“Anne and her family were so kind to watch my pup Dune last minute after our original dog sitting plans for vacation fell through. We did an initial met/greet to ensure our dogs got along and Dune loved playing with the other pups. Communication with daily updates and photos was awesome! Kenneling overnight. We were so grateful for your flexiblity and help! Thank you all for taking such great care of my boy :)”

“Christina and her family took such great care of Oliver during our recent extended family vacation. Christina was an excellent communicator and was very flexible with adjusting Oliver’s care instructions when needed during his stay. We are so grateful that Oliver had a place to stay that gave him the same TLC he receives from us at home.”

About: I have pet sit, walked, ran, leash trained, and mentally stimulated dogs of all breeds since a kid. Each dog needs all of these things in different ways and I am here to figure that out to insure your pup and you get the best from me. I used to be under the LLC Dogs On the Run Grand Rapids, but life (two children, moving to Holland etc) put that on hold. I am now so excited to start giving Hollands furry family members what they need! I would love to meet you and work with you and your dog to give them the energy and visit or stay that they need! I have ran and walked dogs no matter the weather. Visits and Stays will come with pictures, arrival and departure time, a map of where we walked/ran, and any notes of our adventure! Send me a message and lets talk about your furry friend today! I am currently working, but that can be worked around your schedule and your pets needs. I am always willing to find the best scenario and schedule! For those going on walks and runs, we will work with what you use and what works best for your dog. All dogs are different. Also, what you want from your dog is different as well. If they need some leash training we can do that as well. My car is dog friendly, so if ball at the park is what they need, or a swim, I am down for that as well! Variety is the spice of life! For stays, I do have a dog of my own who is completely pet friendly, so of course our home is too! Any questions, Ask away :)
“Michael and his family provided excellent care for our dogs. We have a dog who is almost 17 years old and he was very attentive to his needs. Our younger dog made great friends with his dog, Chili. She had a great time. Michael provided excellent photos and daily communication. I highly recommend him.”

“Christopher did an incredible job caring for Hachi. He kept me updated with messages and photos, and it was so reassuring to see Hachi happy, bonding with Jasi and the rest of his family. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to others looking for a reliable sitter!”

“Daina and Samuel took wonderful care of our dog Denali for our two week vacation. We received a lot of pictures and could tell she was well taken care of and having a good time. I will definitely use them again.”

“Kristina was perfect! She responds very quickly and made sure Ellie felt right at home. Ellie got along great with her dogs and had the best time for the whole week. I would book again!”

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
