“Beth did a great job caring for Finley. He came home happy and exhausted! He enjoyed the freedom of her fenced in yard and also snuggles with Beth. He made new friends in the other dogs Beth was caring for, and Beth did a great job making sure they all got along well. Beth was flexible and communicated well both before and during Finley's stay. We would definitely have Finley stay with Beth again in the future!”

“Thanks Pamela! Duke seemed to have had a wonderful time. Pictures of him playing in the back yard with other dogs were much appreciated. He certainly slept well in the car on the way home! If we are in the area again we will certainly contact you to take care of "old-man" Duke.”

“Christoper was fantastic with our two dogs. We use rover regularly and he has been one of the best so far. We had to book last minute for a trip to GA and he was nothing but helpful. We got regular updates and felt like the dogs were in great hands while we were miles away. They came back to us happy and in probably in better shape than when we left them. Highly recommend Christopher and his kids.”

“I am completely at ease when we leave our german shorthair pointer with this family. We get plenty of updates and it looks like Daisy gets plenty of playtime with their pet and plenty of attention from the humans. About: I have taken care of animas my whole life. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats. Comfortable giving medications if they are needed. I am home all day Thursday through Sunday. The days that I do work, there is still time set aside for each pet after I arrive home. During the warmer weather, we typically spend lots of time outside. I have a fenced in yard. I do own 3 medium-large sized dogs that are great with other dogs. I do also have a cat and a toddler. I make sure that the toddler is never left alone with the animals. If I am doing drop by visits for pets, your home will be treated with respect and your pet will be taken care of appropriately.
“Renee and her dog Dutch were wonderful. She sent videos and pictures. Kiowa had a great time. He had lots of exercise and really enjoyed playing with Dutch. Renee took great care of him. Lots of walks and trips to the dog park. Will be using Renee again.”

“This was our first time leaving Boston and Felix made us feel like he was loved, safe, and loving life! He opened his home and welcomed our very busy puppy with open arms. We got pictures and even a video. Boston had a great experience his first time away from us and we would trust Felix anytime with our fur baby ❤️”

“Brenda was very good with our Morkie, Dickens. He loved being able to run outside in her large fenced yard and her snuggles were awesome. We would definitely use Brenda again because Dickens came home a happy, contented and tired little guy! Great communication too with photos included.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
