“Beth did a great job caring for Finley. He came home happy and exhausted! He enjoyed the freedom of her fenced in yard and also snuggles with Beth. He made new friends in the other dogs Beth was caring for, and Beth did a great job making sure they all got along well. Beth was flexible and communicated well both before and during Finley's stay. We would definitely have Finley stay with Beth again in the future!”

“Wow! What an incredible experience:). Pamela was wonderful with Abby. She sent me pics of Abby cuddling and playing frisbee outside and playing with other dogs. Abby is usually very scared of new people and her personality won’t shine. Not the case here. Thank you Pamela for your care and attention to Abby - she had a great time:). Will definitely call again and I’ve already referred to 3 people!💕”

“Sasha's experience and manner with Benji has made the transition from Metro Detroit a easy endeavor. Her video and Pic updates and communication were welcome. Sasha, a real professional indeed. Benji's tail wag was the sign that sealed the deal. Benji and I will be looking forward to future stays with our new Dog Whisper 😀”

“Diana was the best dog sitter ever!! She sent us a bunch of pictures and wrote sweet updates on what Ellie was up to for my son to read. She was so thoughtful, took Ellie on a ton of walks and loved her like she was her own dog. I highly recommended Diana and will use her again!”

“Frances and her family were great to work with and gave our puppy lots of love while we were gone. It was our first time leaving him so she sent me pictures and updates of how he was doing that we loved receiving. We will be booking again soon for our spring break!”
“Christine and her crew were incredible and did a great job. Thor came home exhausted and without any bad habits (begging from the table, attempting to get on furniture, etc). Great communication before and throughout the stay. Thor loved his time with Cornelius and is looking forward to his next visit.”

“This was our first time using Rover and Katherine was amazingly patient when answering all my questions about what we should expect. Unfortunately during the stay, one of our dogs had a difficult time adjusting, but Katherine did everything she could to ease her anxiety and make her comfortable. By the end of the weekend, there was quite a bit of improvement for Jessie. They sent pics of them and the dogs having fun which I thoroughly enjoyed.”

“Nicole did such an amazing job with our girls. Communication was great. She send tons of pictures to help ease my mind. Her whole family was so good with the girls. I will def use her gain when needed. My girls have a new retreat to go too. They loved it and her family.”

About: We owned a sweet, energetic Alaskan Husky until our third son was born. Our boys were so good with her and still miss her. We have more space now and are home all the time with a secure fenced yard. Ready to welcome some animal life back in! I just ask that your dog is comfortable around kids. Our boys are ages 3-7. As a homeschool family of 5 we’re pretty much always home. We’re home usually everyday during the week, and weekends after 1pm. We are confident your pup will get the love and attention they need and truly feel at home away from home! We have a great fenced yard for dogs. No pets except two bunnies who live outside in secure hutches. Our boys love all animals and are taught to handle them gently, firm and respectfully. Your pup will get plenty of love, play, and potty opportunities :)
“Christina and her family took such great care of Oliver during our recent extended family vacation. Christina was an excellent communicator and was very flexible with adjusting Oliver’s care instructions when needed during his stay. We are so grateful that Oliver had a place to stay that gave him the same TLC he receives from us at home.”

“Anne and her family were so kind to watch my pup Dune last minute after our original dog sitting plans for vacation fell through. We did an initial met/greet to ensure our dogs got along and Dune loved playing with the other pups. Communication with daily updates and photos was awesome! Kenneling overnight. We were so grateful for your flexiblity and help! Thank you all for taking such great care of my boy :)”

“Ru watched our dog—Bailey—for us while we went on a trip abroad for a week and a half and she was amazing! She updated us and sent pictures of Bailey to us regularly, which made us never worry about if Bailey was doing okay. Ru was also very flexible in extending Bailey’s stay with her by a few hours when our flight back home was unexpectedly canceled. Overall, I highly recommend Ru to watch your companion animals—she’s wonderful!”

“Brenda was great! She communicated well and was super patient with my nervous-with-new-people pup. I would definitely recommend her for boarding your dog. She has a great yard for letting the pups get out all of their energy as well.”

“Christoper was fantastic with our two dogs. We use rover regularly and he has been one of the best so far. We had to book last minute for a trip to GA and he was nothing but helpful. We got regular updates and felt like the dogs were in great hands while we were miles away. They came back to us happy and in probably in better shape than when we left them. Highly recommend Christopher and his kids.”

“Our dogs came home exhausted and happy after their stay. 1 of our dogs can be a pain so an extra thanks for handling her for 2 full days while we had our wedding! Kaylee is the best!”

“Sylvia was great! It was my first time using rover and she made me feel very comfortable with leaving my dog! She sent me lots of pictures and kept me updated! She was very respectful and attentive to the dog. Would use her again!!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
